This is the moment an escaped cow was rammed twice by a police vehicle in a street in West London.
Video footage shows an officer’s car crashing into the animal, which was strolling through the street last night after escaping from its enclosure.
After being knocked to the ground, the cattle had barely regained its footing when the same car sped forward and rammed into it again.
Online users were quick to condemn the apparent ‘brutality’ of the force, criticizing it for not acting in a more humane manner.
One said: ‘Really, this could have been done safely. There’s no need to be so bold. What a joke.’
‘This is disgraceful. I can’t believe what I just saw.’

The animal was captured as it rose to its feet before the vehicle rammed it back into the ground. Surrey Police said the cow was ‘in distress’
Surrey Police said the cow, which was found loose in Staines-upon-Thames on Friday evening at around 8.55pm, was causing disruption to traffic in the area.
No one was injured in the incident and officers are working to identify the cow’s owners.
It said the animal “became increasingly distressed” as it was moved to safety. The cow was moved to a local park where she waited for a veterinarian.
Online users branded the force’s actions as brutal and ‘a joke’, adding that the cow could have been safely captured and removed
Another responded that the incident was ‘shameful’ and said they ‘can’t believe what I just saw’
Chief Inspector Adam Tatton said: “We know this has caused some concern within the local community this evening and I would like to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to identify the owners and ensure the cow is seen as soon as possible. by a veterinarian
“Our priority in responding to any incident is the safety of the public first and foremost. “I would like to thank the community tonight for their understanding and ask that they stay away from the park while officers are on scene.”
