AN American living in London found himself in a fiery situation that singed away some follicles but became a valuable life lesson.
She suffered a breakdown due to a hair disaster and learned from her mistakes.
Bella (@bellastravling) is an American living in London and planning a move to Spain.
She shared some valuable travel advice in an old one TikTok video about a hair horror story.
“Lesson learned in London: the wattage of the sockets is very strong,” the caption read.
For most of the 22-second clip, she cried while holding a curling iron with a section of her hair burned on it.
'Guys ask me how things are going in London. I'm killing myself. This was my last straw,” she said.
'My hair. Burned to a crisp. Like what?'
By the time she shot the video, she had “put herself together,” but she was still distraught.
“Actually, I don't even want to show it to you because I'm so scared,” she said.

In the caption of the video, she elaborated on the situation.
“Let's just say that before Noah Kahan, I had a bit of a nervous breakdown,” she wrote.
While getting ready to see the singer-songwriter perform, Bella suffered a hair disaster.
She reiterated that it was a great learning lesson and wanted to make others aware of it.
“I learned that the voltage from these outlets is basically a recipe for burning your hair off,” she wrote in the caption.
“Wow, I'm going to make sure I don't take any hair tools to Greece this summer. I had no idea,” said one viewer.
“Or invest in a two-watt hair tool because this was TRAUMATIZING,” she replied.
She added that she was going to buy a new iron so this wouldn't happen again.
Some viewers related to her and others couldn't help but find it funny.
“I'm sorry, but I've never heard 'burnt to a crisp' used so literally,” one woman joked.
“Girlllll, this was me in Spain. I gave myself a bang on one side,” said another.
