Beaudesert, Queensland: Woman mauled by tractor slasher in 'possible domestic violence attack'

A woman has died after allegedly being run over by a tractor slasher in what is believed to be a horrific incident of domestic violence.

Emergency services were called to a property on Undullah Road in Woodhill near Beaudesert in south-central Queensland just after 9am on Thursday.

At the scene they found a seriously injured 41-year-old woman.

She died at the scene, despite desperate efforts by emergency services to revive her.

The woman's 44-year-old husband assisted police with their investigation.

Forensic officers spent the day scouring the crime scene for possible evidence

Photos showed several police vehicles outside the cordoned-off sugar cane farm, where forensic officers spent the day searching for evidence.

A Toyota Yaris was towed away by a tow truck.
