FBOY Island ‘Nice Guy’ Nick Brown Dumped His Girlfriend To Be On The Show

FBOY Island ‘Nice Guy’ Nick Brown Dumped His Girlfriend Just Days Before Filming Started And Then Won The Show

FBOY Island was hit with a scandal after Nick Brown became one of the show’s winners despite dumping his girlfriend just days before filming.

The self-proclaimed ‘Nice Guy’, 25, ended up dating Molly O’Halloran in the explosive finale after confessing he hadn’t been in a relationship for two years.

However, it appears he dumped childcare worker Ruby Sharan before dating and sharing $50,000 with Molly, 26, reported The Daily Telegraph on Friday.

According to the publication, he dated the Sydney-based 21-year-old for over nine months before brutally ending it just days before filming began.

“I saw Ruby casually, she understood the situation. While I saw Ruby for a short time, it wasn’t a relationship, it was just casual,” Nick insisted.

He added, “I’m still a 25-year-old man and we got along great, that was cool, but she knew from the start that I didn’t want a relationship.

“I would eventually go abroad to continue my rugby career and that is still at stake. And she knew I was going for this. That was it.’

Nevertheless, in January, Nick took Ruby and her entire family on a fancy vacation to Hamilton Island.

The self-proclaimed ‘Nice Guy’ said he had been single for two years, but it was revealed that he had dumped his girlfriend of nine months Ruby Sharan, 21, (right), just days before he started filming

He then spent time with her in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast from February 3 to 5 for his birthday, which Ruby paid for, according to friends.

“He was on Ruby’s 21st, came to Hamilton Island with the family for a family vacation in January and never left each other’s sides,” they said.

“It was also his birthday on Hamilton Island and Ruby took him to dinner at an expensive restaurant and spent over $700 on it.”

Nick became one of the winners of the show, ending up with Molly O’Halloran who shared the $50,000 prize money.

Nick started filming for the Binge series in mid-February, hosted by Abbie Chatfield, and Molly chose him over ‘FBoy’ Vernon Lyon, who also broke up with his girlfriend to go on the show.

FBOY Island saw 24 men compete for the affections of three women, the catch being that half were ‘Nice Guys’ looking for love and the other ‘FBoys’ were just out for the money.

Molly technically made the right choice in choosing Nick, who claimed to be a ‘Nice Guy’, and was able to split the prize money with him as they went along.

Ziara Rae Freeny also found love with handsome Izaya Leota, while Sophie Blackley falsely chose ‘FBoy’ Joshy Allen who took all the prize money and fled.
