Royal Island is a 430-acre private oasis in the Bahamas – located off Russell Island in the North Eleuthera district – and is for sale with Vladi private islands for an eye-watering $45 million (£35 million).
Notable features include white sandy beaches lined with palm trees, a natural harbour, a turnkey resort and approved plans for an 18-hole golf course.
Accommodations on site, the listing shows, include five luxury one-bedroom beachfront villas with large wraparound terraces, plus a welcome center complete with spa rooms and a gym, a restaurant/bar building and a guest house near the main buildings. Vladi Private Islands adds: ‘All community buildings have extensive wrap-around verandas and both overlook the beaches and a beautiful oval-shaped swimming pool.’
