A MAN and woman decided to add a third to their relationship and proposed to their girlfriend, but the trouble was just beginning.
They ran into a lot of planning issues, but it was all worth it for their beach wedding.
Husband and wife Aaron, Rachael and Kasey (@triadandtrue) are three people in one loving relationship.
Aaron and Rachael were originally married to each other and proposed to their girlfriend Kaset in 2022.
Since the proposal, their love has continued to grow with adventures and romance.
The triad shared some of their wedding planning struggles in one TikTok videoincluding putting together their unconventional website.
“We built our wedding website and we quickly discovered that not all sites are created equal, especially when it comes to planning a wedding for three people,” they explained in a voiceover.
None of them were perfect for what they were looking for, so they documented their three-way process of trial and error to find the right fit.
The polyamorous couple first used a site called Zola.com, which was an immediate no because the templates only allowed people to enter two names.
“It was a little disheartening at first when we realized that most of the wedding invitation builders and websites we came across focused solely on relationships between two people,” they wrote in the video’s caption.
They next tried the popular bridal company TheKnot.com, which almost won despite a few technical issues and presented correctly.
After another look, “it looked weird” and they moved on to the last and final option.
They revealed what their wedding website looked like via WithJoy.com.
It was a “nice, pretty website” with “no weird monograms,” all their names on it, photos as a trio, and additional details.
They admitted in the video caption that their inclusivity and LGBTQIA+ templates excited them.
Viewers expressed their outrage at the limited options in the comments.
“That’s so ridiculous that most websites aren’t that inclusive. But I’m glad you found a site that works for all of you!” one commented.
“Love WithJoy! We also created our wedding website there!” another wrote
They revealed themselves another video that they had their triad union ceremony on November 11, 2023.
