Incredible plans for a luxury villa resort called 'Tracy Island', real life, with infinity pools instead of rockets

INCREDIBLE plans for a luxury villa resort with a striking resemblance to “Tracy Island” have been revealed.

The 1960s children's television program Thunderbirds featured the heavily camouflaged Tracy Island, the secret headquarters of the International Rescue Organization.

The lavish villas resemble the famous Thunderbirds base, but no rocket ships will take off for rescue missions.

Unlike Tracy Island, the recent architectural project functions infinity pools where you can relax.

Architecture studio BIG has released photos of the grand trio of vacation villas nestled in the forests of Sagishima Island Japan.

The beautiful three-round structures were created in collaboration with catering brand Not A Hotel.

The first images of the grandiose project reveal spacious bedrooms with breathtaking ocean and mountain views.

Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows allow guests to enjoy the island's scenery from the warmth of their beds.

Inside the rooms you will find cobblestone floors, hardwood ceilings and monolithic, textured walls.

Each luxury villa is also equipped with a personal, cozy sauna and a private infinity pool.

The cobblestone courtyard combines futuristic architecture with greenery and offers shared seating around a fire pit.

The hotel is decorated with courtyards in the center and can be recognized by the wavy tiled roofs. It is connected to a network of roads that wind through the site.

The style of the villas combines traditional Japanese elements with modern Danish architecture.

These architectural styles are both distinguished by their minimalism and functionality, inviting plenty of natural light and prioritizing comfort.

BIG's founder, Bjarke Ingels, said: “Traditional Danish modern architecture is in fact heavily inspired by traditional Japanese architecture.”

The result is a building whose elegant, curved design gently embraces the natural contours of the lush grounds while blending into the island's green landscape.

“It almost looks like a traditional Japanese landscape painting in a fully realized form,” Ingels said.

Details of the project haven't been fully released yet, but the images give a glimpse of what it could look like when it's finished.

“So far the collaboration has been incredible and I look forward to spending my first night enjoying the results of our collaboration,” said Ingels.
