Tristan also revealed that he also came to terms with the fact that freezing his eggs would be too expensive, meaning he may not get the chance to have a biological child.

In his coming out video shared two years ago, Tristan opened up about his gender identity.

“Some of my friends and family don’t know about it,” he admitted in the clip.

“I’m coming out as trans today. I wrote a letter to my parents about four weeks ago,” he added.

‘A few days later I had a conversation with my parents about being trans.

“It stuck in their heads. It was very emotional, but I am very relieved that I told my parents who I am.

‘I’m actually a boy in a girl’s body. They are very supportive of that, they are supportive of my decision, all that I will go through,” he added.

Tristan said he wanted to make the switch to be happier with himself.

“So that’s why I’m making a coming out video so you guys can understand what it’s like to be me,” he added.

However, the star said he did not intend to rush his transition, adding that he would take time to focus on other projects as well.

“I’m taking it as slowly as possible, I’m not rushing, I don’t intend to rush it, I’m patient with everything,” he added.

“I just want to do what’s best for me,” added Tristan.

Earlier this month, Tristan revealed to his fan that he would finally start his hormone therapy and take testosterone

My pronouns are he, him and his, also a message to my friends and family. I’m sorry, I haven’t come to you and told you how I feel inside. My apologies for that, but I hope you understand,” he said.

“I hope you respect me for who I am,” he added, explaining that he planned to document various stages of his transition.

“I hope you support me and respect me for my decision, I can’t wait for this journey to begin,” he said.

Tristan has shared several updates about his journey since coming out.

Since coming out, Tristan has started taking testosterone and proudly shows off his facial hair in selfies

In April he admitted he was devastated after finding out he couldn’t freeze his eggs on the NHS and couldn’t afford an expensive procedure, meaning he’d miss out on the chance of having biological children.

However, the Vine alum explained earlier this month that he had now started his testosterone prescription after talking about it with his GP.

In a post shared on Twitter, Tristan wrote: “My prescription is now approved and signed by the doctor, so tomorrow I will call my doctor for an appointment, to have my blood drawn.”

He explained that Tristan could take testosterone if his doctor found his blood test satisfactory.

“I’m so excited and can’t wait to finally go on the journey, to be the man I really am. I’m also looking forward to the changes,” said the Vine star.

Since starting his hormone therapy, a radiant Tristan has been sharing selfies sporting his facial hair on social media.
