MANCHESTER CITY fans have been left furious by what they thought was a distraction tactic by FC Copenhagen supporters.
The Cityzens faced the Danish team in the last sixteen of the Champions League.
And despite most top players being used to raucous fans and aggressive abuse, there was something different that City had to deal with at the Parken Stadium.
Almost every time Pep Guardiola's side got their hands on the ball, there seemed to be a loud siren.
Fans of the Premier League team were frustrated by the unpleasant alarm coming from the home fans in the stadium.
Many took to social media and said, “Why does a siren go off every time we own property? Isn't that illegal?”
A second added: “Whoever the Copenhagen fan is who brought the emergency siren to the match today and continues to blare it over and over again should be banned from the city forever and ever, no questions asked. “
A third said: 'Why does a siren sound every time we attack?'
Others were distracted in their own homes by the unpleasant siren.
One joked: “Copenhagen fans should turn off that siren but keep thinking the old law is out of the question…”.

While another added: “This siren sound from the game made me look out the window.”
It is not known whether the noise was part of the intimidating atmosphere at Parken Stadium or a specific distraction tactic to scare off the Treble-winning opponent.
Regardless, it didn't work out as planned, with the visitors securing a comfortable 3-1 win over the Danish Superliga champions.
