No laughing matter. Marlon Wayan entered into a messy dispute with United Airlines, claiming he was “targeted” by the airline regarding their two-bag policy.

The Scary Movie star, 50, was cited for disturbing the peace at the Denver airport last week, the Associated Press reported that on Monday, June 12, after the comedian recorded it Instagram a day earlier to explain his side of the story.

The drama began on Friday, June 9, when Wayans went to consolidate three bags into two, in line with the airline’s two-bag policy, he explained via Instagram on Sunday, June 11.

“So the United Airlines customer service or business gets to me. And I don’t know what kind of company culture there is… your customer is always right,” said the Sky the actor began, explaining that he was willing to replay the video of the incident to prove his point.

“I’m willing to play that video and turn on the sound. This man was wrong and I was the target. Period of time. And then the company called me and they defended, “Well, you know, there’s a two-bag policy.” “Right, and so I took my three bags and turned them into two,” the White girls The actor recalled the conversation, adding that he had been told there was “no more room” on the flight for extra luggage. “So why did all those people before me and all these people after me have two bags and three bags? Interesting. Watch the video.”

Wayans captioned the video with another appeal to the airline, demanding that the incident be “fixed”.

“@united needs to do better. Don’t call me and defend an employee for targeting me,” the A Haunted House star wrote. “This incident must be rectified. I will not rest until I am properly compensated for this grave inconvenience. Brother a liar.

In a statement to Us weekly on Monday, United Airlines did not name Wayans, but addressed an incident that occurred at the airport on Friday.

“Friday in Denver, a customer who had been told he would have to check his bag at the gate instead pushed past a United employee at the aircraft bridge and attempted to board the aircraft. The customer did not fly to his destination with United.”

Hours later, Wayans continued his first post with a shout out to Delta Airlines and a video of him thanking the gatekeepers. In the caption, he revealed that the incident cost him money and time with his fans as his Kansas City shows were reportedly canceled after the delay.

“It feels good to be treated nicely today. Thank you @delta for washing the bad taste of @united out of my mouth. ‘Only people make the difference.’ @americanair is great too. So accommodating,” the Small man actor captioned Monday’s clip. “The business call I received from that was insensitive and again unwelcoming. Customer service should facilitate and respect the customers, not protect the employee who has abused their authority. You hindered me, lost me money and most of all left my fans hanging. You. owe us all.

Wayans went on to joke that he would turn the drama into a comedy special.

“My next comedy special will be FU F*@! United. Thanks for writing more jokes and more episodes and skits. Creativity fights all mistreatment. We will be trolling until this is fixed,” he shared. “I have sent the CEO a dm and send letters. Any other airline will be in touch immediately to put things right. Unfortunately that is not the case here. But man, we’re gonna have fun trolling.
