Police respond to school shooting in Perry, Iowa

Police in Perry, Iowa, are investigating a shooting at a high school, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Emergency responders arrived at Perry High School, about 40 miles northwest of Des Moines, as students arrived for their first day after winter break.

According to local news, reports of a shooting first came in around 7:40 am. Emergency vehicles from multiple agencies were seen.
