Honor is cutting the price of last year's budget phone after the recent launch of Magic6 LiteCredit: honor

The Android device is from the lesser-known brand Honor and is called the Magic5 Lite 5G.

It may not come as a complete surprise that the price of the device has dropped, considering an upgraded Magic6 Lite was unveiled a few weeks ago.

Honor and retailers would therefore like to clear the stock of the Magic5 Lite 5G.

When it launched last year the smartphone cost £330, so you now get £130 off.

The battery is a whopping 5,100 mAh – to put that into perspective, the battery of the newest and most expensive iPhone isn't even that big.

And it's certainly something other users say is the phone's best feature.

Should I just buy the new Magic6 Lite instead?

One of the key selling points that Honor hopes to get people's attention on the Magic6 Lite is its anti-drop display.

The company says it uses “advanced cushioning technology” from newly developed materials that can prevent the chance of a nasty crack on your screen.

So he would have to survive a fall from a height of up to 1.5 meters.

The screen itself is a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved display.

Meanwhile, the camera consists of three lenses, including a 108-megapixel Ultra-Clear Camera, a 5-megapixel Ultra-Wide Camera and a 2-megapixel Macro Camera.

Honor says the wide camera offers a 110-degree field of view, allowing users to capture large landscapes or group photos with friends.

On the inside, the Magic6 Lite contains a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, so apps run smoothly and quickly.

And the battery has been given another boost, this time to 5300mAh.

For a limited time, Honor is also giving away a free tablet.

“But for £199 you get a phone that does everything your £1200 flagship can do with very little sacrifice and show me a flagship that comes close in terms of battery life.”

Many professional reviewers have praised the device for its strong battery, with many saying the Magic5 Lite 5G still has plenty of juice after one day.

However, the device was discounted because it had a basic camera with 64 megapixels.
