Norfolk Police confirmed on Sunday that Bartlomiej and Kanticha both died from stab wounds to the neck.

Post-mortem examinations were carried out on the young girls today which tragically revealed they died in the same manner.

The deaths of Jasmin, Natasha and Kanticha are treated as murder.

But Bartlomiej's death was not considered suspicious and no one else is being sought in connection with the deaths, police said.

It came after the mystery surrounding the dead continued to grow – with more details about the assessment of the father's mental health.

Floral tributes and two unicorn toys have been left a short distance from the house on the quiet residential street – with more arriving every day.

They sit outside the police cordon, while the house where the horror took place is still taped up.

One heartbreaking tribute read: 'Jasmine, you were such a sweet, caring girl, you and your sister didn't deserve to have your life taken.

“You always smiled in primary school. Fly high, pretty girls.”

Another person wrote: “You will be missed. I'm sorry for whoever was in the family experiencing it. Sorry Jasmin.”

Chief Inspector Chris Burgess, who is leading the investigation, said today: “We understand how incredibly upsetting this incident is for everyone involved and for the wider community and that this latest update adds to the sense of heartbreak.

“Our thoughts are with the families of those found at the property who are grieving such a traumatic loss.

“We would like to thank the community for their help and will continue to carry out reassurance patrols in the area.

“A cordon will remain in place at the address while we complete our detailed investigation of the scene.”

The police have confirmed that this is the case referred themselves to the police watchdogafter failing to respond to a call to the home earlier that morning.

Police said they received a 999 call from the house not long before the bodies were found.

Sources confirmed that Mr Kuczynski was the man who called at 6am Police failed to dispatch officers.

However, officers were only deployed after a second call from a member of the public shortly before 7am.

Charmaine Arbouin, regional director of the IOPC, gave details of the phone call: “Norfolk Constabulary established that the man had called police shortly before 6am on January 19.

“During that conversation, the man expressed concerns about his own mental state and said he was confused.

“He was advised to seek medical advice but police were not present.

“Around 7am, police received a call from a dog walker who was concerned about the welfare of people in the house.

“Officers attended shortly afterwards and tragically found the man, a woman and two children dead.”

How mystery still exists about quadruple tragedy

More and more questions are being raised about how the four deaths occurred after it emerged that father Bartlomiej had called 999.

Despite warnings from officers about his mental state, he was told to seek medical advice.

Here are some unanswered questions about the tragedy.

Why didn't the police respond to the call?

Norfolk police have still not confirmed why they did not send officers to the house when Bartlomiej raised his concerns.

He told 999 he was “concerned” about his mental state and was “confused”.

The IOPC is now investigating why that call was ignored.

What is the 'missing person' investigation?

In a second IOPC referral, it was revealed that police had previously been in contact with the family before the tragedy.

Officers confirmed this was related to the December 14 missing person investigation.

Bartlomiej was reported missing but later found wandering in the woods.

Why did the police only respond to the second call?

An hour after the initial 999 call, the alarm was raised when a dog walker raised concerns for the welfare of those inside.

It is not yet clear why that call was responded to, but the father's was ignored.

Norfolk Police also said it will investigate and determine whether the contact officers had with the man was “appropriate and in accordance with force policy, training and procedures”.

She also referred herself to the watchdog for visiting the home on December 14 in connection with a missing person enquiry.

He was later discovered close to his home and taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital to undergo a mental health assessment.

But it has now emerged that the father left before tests could be done, and the hospital is now releasing more details about his visit.

NNUH has conducted an extensive investigation, but the hospital does not provide this mental health Services, Eastern Daily Press reports.

A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the patient was taken to the emergency department by police on December 14.

“Following a comprehensive clinical assessment, the patient was determined to be mentally capable and left the department before being reassessed by the team.”

According to Kanticha's best friend Naty Wathanakul, it was revealed in recent days that the girls' mother was working as a caregiver when the four were found.

She told how the aunt arrived in Britain on December 27 and was apparently going home next month.

Kanticha ran the British children's clothing store Malishop together with her sister.

Naty described her as a “caring” woman The mirror: “She loved her nieces, I always saw their pictures together.

“She's a single woman, no boyfriend, no husband, that's why she spent most of her time with those sweet girls.”
