My DIY spa mask is supercharged and saves money—your skin will glow for days

A SKINCARE expert has revealed how she saves money with her homemade spa mask.

Not only does she save time and money on trips to the spa, but the skincare trick keeps her skin glowing for days.

Ava (@glowwithava) shared the beauty recipe with more than 1.7 million TikTok followers.

She picked up an $18 pot Modeling mask powder with infused collagen.

“I'm going to do some heavy scooping. Trust me, you need a lot to create a thick layer that covers your entire face,” she said.

“Now you're going to add water. I like to spice up my thing, so I like to add some essence to it.

“I know this is pouring expensive essence into it, so use whatever you want.”

Ava mixed the ingredients until she got a sticky paste, but she had one more trick up her sleeve.

“I learned this from a Korean spa. They loved it [while] they do their modeling masks to enhance it even more, so they add serums and stuff,” she said.

“I love adding peptides for an extra boost,” she said, adding drops of hydrating oil and peptide serum.

“Not only is it a modeling mask, but it is also a supercharged mask.”

Using an applicator, she applied a thin layer to her face and waited for it to dry for 30 minutes.

Half an hour later, she took off the mask and couldn't stop feeling her skin.

“It's so gentle, probably because of all the hydration that was on it. It's obviously a lot more work than a typical sheet mask, so I only do this once every two or three weeks,” she said.

“But when I do, my skin is so soft and I promise if you do this, your skin will glow for days.”
