Harry and Meghan 'troll' the royal family by posing for photos with Jamaica's republican prime minister, the Mail's Andrew Pierce and Sarah Vine argue on their talk show tonight.

In the latest episode of The Reaction, now available on YouTube, the pair discuss the Sussexes' 'hobnobbing' with Andrew Holness, the Jamaican Prime Minister, in the week that King Charles goes to hospital for prostate surgery.

Speaking about Harry and Meghan's photos with Mr Holness at the premiere of a new Bob Marley film, Pierce said: 'The week the King goes to hospital… he's there hanging out, chatting with a of the most openly republican prime ministers in the world. The Caribbean.

'Someone who also wants to break up the Commonwealth, which was so precious to the queen. They are tone deaf.”

Vine added: “They are deliberately trolling the royal family. Both the Princess of Wales and King Charles are in hospital and have not said anything.

'Normally they want everyone to know how much they care about people, but they haven't said anything. I think their game plan will be self-hating Royals.

“They'll say 'we're part of the royal family but we hate it'.”

Never afraid to shy away from controversy, the pair then delved into a debate over whether Sir Keir Starmer's new 'pro-woke' campaign will alienate traditional Labor voters in the run-up to the general election.

They ask the question: what is better, the anti-woke 'quarter pounder with extra cheese' Donald Trump or Starmer the 'vegan sausage on a stick', as Vine memorably put it in her Daily Mail column today.

With tensions rising on the world stage, they then discussed key talking points from today's speech by the head of the armed forces, General Sir Patrick Sanders, in which he warned that the British military is unable to defend itself Russia. The pair debated returning to national service.

  • The show is released every Wednesday at 5pm on the Daily Mail YouTube channel.
