He even ships his “baby batter” in insulated packages across the country in his attempt to help impregnate all the women who ask for his sperm.

But the 52-year-old says his journey has been a lonely one – something that has been particularly hard hit Valentine's Day approaches.

Joe, who lives nearby Newcastlesaid: “My success if sperm donor Ironically, it has made it harder to find success in love.”

Despite offering natural insemination – which he says half the women he works with request – Joe says he doesn't see much action in the bedroom.

He said: “You would think that as a natural donor I would be in the saddle a lot.

“But I've always said that if you want a lot of sexy time, get a girlfriend or get married, because I usually only meet women once or twice a month.

HOW DOES SPERM DONATION WORK IN THE UK?

Licensed clinics cannot pay donors more than £35 for a donation, but although private donations are not regulated, it is not illegal for a recipient to pay a donor outside the clinic setting

If you donate your sperm through a fertility clinic or sperm bank, you have no responsibilities or rights to any child conceived with your sperm.

However, since April 2005, children conceived through sperm donation have the right to request certain information about their donor once they reach the age of 16.

You can find the clinic that suits you best via the website Clinic licensed by the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority (HFEA)..

Every year, approximately 2,000 children are conceived with the help of a donor.

Donated sperm cannot be used to create more than ten families, with no limits on the number of children born within each family.

“Because my baby batter is extremely effective, if I'm lucky I'll only meet the lovely lady once or twice and then she gets pregnant and I might not see her again for a year or two if she wants a second child.

“However, because I spend a lot of time helping women calculate the best time to meet, and because ovulation times can sometimes change, I always have to be ready to help, and this puts a limit on my availability for romance with women outside my country. sperm donations.

“The only saving grace was that there were often a few each month, but still it was often PI, or partial intercourse.

“For many women, it's not the penetration itself that's uncomfortable, but rather the foreplay.

'World's most prolific sperm donor', who has fathered 600 children, banned from donating due to fear of 'accidental incest'

“Normally at NI there is no food or drink, no flowers or chocolates.

“Sex can happen once or twice a month, but virtually no kissing.

“Sometimes I just want a kiss and a hug, without anything else!”

But despite feeling lonely this time of year, Joe says it's worth it.

PLAY IT SAFE

WOULD parents should do their homework on how to safely find a sperm donor, fertility experts say.

Official fertility clinics are highly regulated, with donors undergoing medical and psychological checks. Sperm donors through these clinics are not the legal parent.

But private schemes outside clinics are unregulated, without any protections. These donors can be considered legal parents under UK law.

The Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority said: “It is always safer to have treatment in an accredited clinic.”

According to the NHS, some people get pregnant quickly, but for others it can take longer. It's a good idea to see a doctor if you still haven't gotten pregnant after a year of trying.

Women aged 36 and over and anyone who already knows they may have fertility problems should see their GP sooner.

They can check for commonality causes of fertility problems and suggest treatments that may help.

Infertility is usually only diagnosed if the couple has not been able to conceive after a year of trying.

There are 2 types of infertility:

  • primary infertility – where someone who has never had a child in the past has difficulty becoming pregnant
  • secondary infertility – when someone has had one or more pregnancies in the past, but has difficulty becoming pregnant again

He added: “Even if I'm alone, my shipments will make other couples happy and feel more together when they inseminate each other with 'Joe juice'.

“Thanks to them, I can enjoy Valentine's Day vicariously.”

In the meantime, Joe continues his search for Mrs. Right – although he says it can be tricky finding a woman who will put up with his antics.

Joe has previously revealed that he doesn't receive a single gift bee Christmas.

Despite having more than 180 toddlers, he only sees about 10 of his offspring per year.

Joe calls himself the 'Angel of the North' because he helps women who cannot conceive naturally achieve their dreams.
