A QUICK three-step trick on your iPhone can reveal if you're paying too much for your monthly contract.
If you find you have data left at the end of the month, it might be worth considering a downgrade.
You can easily check your data usage in a lesser-known area in the Settings app.
Open the Settings app and click Cellular service or Cellular data.
Scroll down and you will see a section titled Current Period.
Next to the words Current Period is the amount of data you used.
If the figure you see is very large, it is probably a lifelong figure.
In this case, you need to scroll down and click on Reset Statistics.
Once you click this, your data usage will be scratched up to this point and you will start over.
You can then check again in a month how much you have used.

You don't want to go over it and end up paying more.
