DISNEY has plans to remake the Epic Mickey video game for the Nintendo Switch.
A remake of the Epic Mickey video game will return this year, Disney Interactive Studios announced.
Epic Mickey is an action-adventure video game published by Disney Interactive Studios.
It focuses on the Disney character Mickey Mouse, who accidentally damages a world created for forgotten characters.
“Join Mickey Mouse on a colorful adventure as he traverses Wasteland, a world inspired by classic Disney stories,” reads Nintendo's description of the remake.
“Along with updated graphics and other improvements, Mickey Mouse's abilities have been enhanced with an all-new set of skills and more,” it added.
The original title was launched by Nintendo in 2010 and was available exclusively on the Nintendo Wii.
Now, the video game will reportedly be available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
The new title is a complete reinterpretation of the critically acclaimed game
However, users are only asking for one thing when it comes to the upcoming title: a better camera.
“My only hope for this version is that they improved the camera,” said one Reddit user shared earlier today.
“If they did, I'd probably pick it up,” they added.
“Exactly this. I've always loved this game but I keep getting frustrated with the camera,” another person commented.
“Mind you, the original Wii version didn't have camera controls because we just didn't have a second joystick, so they must have improved that in this remake,” they continued.
“Yeah, if they fix the camera it'll be a really solid game,” shared a third Reddit user.
Since the remake is coming out 14 years later, Nintendo has likely upgraded the game's camera.
