NOTTINGHAM FOREST defender Felipe escaped a red card despite grabbing Bruno Fernandes by the throat.

Manchester United fans were left furious on Wednesday evening after the incident during their FA Cup win at the City Ground.

United midfielder Casemiro was sent off after a similar incident against Crystal Palace in February 2023.

The Brazilian was dismissed for grabbing Will Hughes by the neck during a brawl involving players from both sides.

However, he had a better evening on Wednesday when he grabbed a dramatic late winner.

Fernandes set up Casemiro to score his fifth goal of the season in the 89th minute.

The 1-0 victory puts United in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the ninth time in the past ten seasons.
