Johnny Depp is accused of swearing and berating his co-star Lola Glaudini on the set of the 2001 film.

Lola, 52, who had the small supporting role of Rada in the film, shared her unpleasant experience working with the actor 20 years after shooting the film.

The actress claimed the Donnie Brasco star, 60, called her a “f*****g idiot” and told her to “shut up” while speaking about the alleged incident in a recently surfaced clip from the Powerful truth angels podcast.

According to Lola, the problems started after director Ted Demme told her to “burst out laughing” after one of Johnny’s lines, but the actor was not happy with the gesture.

However, a representative for Depp denied the claims and told Variety the actor “always prioritizes good working relationships with cast and crew and this story differs greatly from the recollection of other members on set at the time.”

Depp’s career has been plagued by controversy in recent years, following his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard after she claimed she was a victim of domestic abuse during their 15-month marriage.

Lola claimed that after she laughed, Depp went on a tirade, swearing at her while sticking “his finger in my face.”

‘[Depp] says his monologue. I hear the signal, and I go haha, I laugh out loud or whatever. Johnny Depp, when they say cut, walks up to me, comes up to me, sticks his finger in my face and says, ‘Who the fuck do you think you are? Is that you? Shut your mouth.”‘

“I’m here, and I’m trying to say my lines, and you’re drawing all the damn attention. You fucking idiot,” she remembered him saying that to her.

“Oh, well, oh now it’s not so funny? Now can you shut up? Now can you shut the fuck up? The silence you have now, that’s how you fucking stay.”

Lola went on to say, “The first day on set I never met him. This was my first studio film, until then I had only done indie films.’

“And I have the star that I have idolized, that I so desperately want to work with, punched me in the face. The only thing going through my head was, “Don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry.”

Lola went on to say that Johnny later gave her a “non-apology,” but she acted like nothing happened.

‘[Johnny] said, “You know, so before I was really in my head and staying in character, I’m doing this Boston accent, and it’s really fucking with me. So I’m kind of uptight and stuff” So I just wanted to making sure we’re cool and all that?’

Lola replied, “I just looked at him and was like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about? Of course, what are you talking about? Totally cool.’ Because I thought… my dad said, “Don’t let them see you sweat.” So that was that,” she shared.

She also stated that the director “didn’t come over and say anything” when she was allegedly berated by Depp, and “when we wrapped up, I was like a pariah.” No one wanted to talk to me because I’m the asshole he was railing against.”

Meanwhile, Depp’s rep disputed the story by citing Blow’s sound engineer Samuel Sarkar, who also worked with the actor on films such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Chocolat, and co-produced Depp’s film Minamata.

Sarkar told Variety in a statement, “As a healthy person, you are constantly listening to what is happening on set, listening to sounds, listening to chatter. In fact, I listened to Johnny’s audio specifically to check for interference, both during rehearsals and during recording. I’ve never heard anything like it – and that would have been a remarkable event.’

The biographical crime drama Blow followed Depp, who played American cocaine king George Jung (based on a real-life American drug trafficker of the same name), and his narco network, including Pablo Escobar and Carlos Lehder Rivas, and the Medellín Cartel.

He starred opposite Penelope Cruz, who played his love interest.

His former co-star’s allegations come two years after Depp’s defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard, 37, in which details of their tumultuous relationship emerged in court.

Depp won a favorable outcome at trial after his legal team successfully argued that Heard’s op-ed in the Washington Post accusing her ex-husband of domestic violence was defamatory. He was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages.

Heard did not publicly mention Depp in the piece, but given their status and fame, it was clear who she was referring to regarding her history of alleged abuse.

Although Depp won $10 million in damages, the jury also found in Heard’s favor on one of her three counterclaims.

Ultimately, the former couple reached a settlement over the jury awards, and Heard was only forced to pay Depp a total of $1 million, which he would donate to five different charities.

MBS's Vision 2030 plan has made the entertainment industry, including film production, a key focus as it increases the kingdom's tourism and cultural perception, but also encourages the country's 30 million residents to do their leisure spending domestically .

The Kingdom's Public Investment Fund (PIF) has invested millions in setting up the LIV Golf Tournament, attracting players such as Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia.

The PIF also provided most of the money for a Saudi takeover of Newcastle United football club in 2021, a controversial deal that became a hot potato for the British government.

“We are making up for lost time and ensuring that our country realizes its potential,” an adviser to the Saudi government told Vanity Fair.

The sudden disappearance reportedly made Depp wary of meeting any more Saudi royals for the first time.

However, talks were held and in July 2022 he met Prince Badr, the kingdom's Minister of Culture.

A few months later, he flew to Jeddah for the 2022 Red Sea Film Festival and during the trip he met the Crown Prince.

Depp visited again in early 2023 and was invited to MBS' royal camp in the mountains.

The actor also flew several times by helicopter to MBS's yacht, one of the largest in the world.

The two men are now good friends, according to Vanity Fair, and friends of Depp told the publication that he values ​​the friendship and wants nothing in return.

As I write this column, I am the size of a beluga whale. It takes me two whole minutes to get out of bed, I’m wearing stretchy pants that look like they’re from Krusty the Clown, I have heartburn, hip pain and ankle pain. I’m in the eighth month of my pregnancy, but it feels like the 80th.

Maybe this is why I read the news about Paris Hilton’s newest baby with an eye roll. Earlier this year she became the mother of a baby boy named Phoenix, carried and delivered by a surrogate mother. Now she’s closing out 2023 with a second baby, a girl named London, carried and delivered by another unnamed woman.

Congratulations of course to Paris and her husband Carter Reum. I’m sure they will give their babies lots of love. But am I the only one who feels uneasy about the fact that more and more celebrities are turning to surrogacy?

It’s as if using a “gestational carrier” instead of your own uterus is just a parenting decision, like whether to go for a jungle theme in the nursery or just paint it yellow. Isn’t it strange how lightly this radical birth control is reported, how horrified we are at the prospect of one woman’s body being rented out to bear another’s child?

If surrogacy is the only solution for a woman who physically cannot have a baby, it can be a wonderful thing. Take 50-year-old Martha Lane Fox, who had twins through a surrogate mother in the US seven years ago. In 2004, the British entrepreneur was involved in a car accident that broke 28 bones and shattered her pelvis, leaving her unable to carry a child. How wonderful that she was able to realize her dream of having children.

Since then, a number of celebrities have used surrogates. The list includes Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Amber Heard, Priyanka Chopra, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Rebel Wilson, Elizabeth Banks, Lucy Liu, Ellen Pompeo and Cameron Diaz.

Of course, some of them will have had fertility problems. It doesn’t matter if you have a house in Beverly Hills, trying and failing to have a baby can be devastating. So if they want to have one this way, then all power to them. But – call me cynical – it’s hard to believe that all the celebrities who choose surrogacy have health problems that prevent them from carrying a child. Chrissy Teigen, the wife of singer John Legend, was pregnant with her third child while a surrogate mother carried their fourth child.

Perhaps the most notable example of celebrity surrogate use is Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, who have seven children. Just months after welcoming their fifth child, they had a sixth via surrogate. “This is a beautiful journey with many people working so hard to bring a soul into the world,” says Hilaria.

Helping a woman have a child when she physically cannot do so herself can be wonderfully altruistic. But using another woman’s womb to build your own football team? Disturbing. While most celebrities who go this route cite medical issues, at least one has been honest that convenience was a factor. Actress Lucy Liu said of her decision to use a carrier, “It just seemed like the right option because I was working and I didn’t know when I would be able to stop.”

I imagine that the more inconspicuous this arrangement becomes, the more reasons women will find to use a surrogate. Paris Hilton says she had children this way out of fear of childbirth. How long will it take before women decide that not wanting to lose their figure or damage their pelvic floor is reason enough?

The ethics of what might be called “surrogacy of convenience” are troubling. When we look at photos of parents smiling with their precious new baby, it’s easy to forget that somewhere there’s a woman who just gave birth, who has nursing wounds in unnameable places, or is staggering around with a C-section scar—all without the comfort of having a new baby. You might answer that many surrogates do this because they are generous souls who want to help realize a couple’s dream of becoming parents. In some cases this is true. But many will have an overwhelming financial incentive to get through it.

You are not allowed to pay a surrogate in the UK, but you are responsible for covering reasonable costs. Surrogates normally receive between £10,000 and £15,000, according to a report from Surrogacy UK. A typical surrogate in the US, where they can be compensated, is expected to earn £40,000 to £47,000. If you are on a low income and you are offered an astonishing amount of money in exchange for nine months of your life, is that a choice you make freely?

This is my fourth pregnancy and I can now say with some authority that (for me anyway) it sucks.

It’s months of nausea, followed by months of pain, with about two days of “glowing mother-to-be” in the middle. Still, I am very grateful that I was able to experience it. Those long months don’t just change your body; they slow you down, prepare you for the massive change that is coming, make you put someone else first. I really feel sympathy for those women who want to have a baby, but whose bodies don’t allow it. If surrogacy can help, then that’s fine. But let’s not allow it to simply become a shortcut in our convenience-obsessed culture.

Jason Momoa was pictured riding a vintage motorcycle in New York City on Monday, days before he was set to host Saturday Night Live to promote his upcoming film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

The 44-year-old actor was spotted at the intersection of Bowery and E. 3rd Street outside The Bowery Hotel, turning on his bike to leave.

Aquaman’s leading man wore a black leather motorcycle jacket over a gray top with black boots, a black ballcap and black-rimmed glasses, while wearing a helmet prior to his excursion into the city.

The Honolulu-born star will host the NBC variety show for the second time, as he previously hosted the December 8, 2018 edition of the show and made guest appearances in October 2019 and October 2020.

Momoa prepares to hit the road as he reprises his signature role in the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster.

The actor was seen out of the picture about a month after a report Variety that indicated the Aquaman sequel was beset by drama amid the release of Amber Heard’s therapy documents, which alleged Momoa purposely dressed like Johnny Depp and pushed her to get her fired from the film.

Depp’s fans paid the legal costs for the release of the notes from Heard’s therapist, Dr. Dawn Hughes on December 27, 2021 — which were written on a notepad — and were part of the trial last year — and the notes later appeared on Reddit, according to the outlet.

Heard, 37, will return as Mera in the sequel, after claiming in her highly publicized lawsuit with Depp earlier last year that she “fought very hard to stay in the film” but that “they didn’t want to shoot [her] in the movie’ and her scenes were cut.

The notes detailed a supposedly hostile Aquaman 2 set: “Jason said he wanted to fire me. Jason drunk, late on set. Dress up as Johnny. Also has all the rings.’

Representatives for Momoa declined to comment after publication, while a spokesperson for DC Studios said, “Jason Momoa conducted himself in a professional manner at all times on the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

A source who was on set in London in 2021 added that the pair got along well on set, adding: ‘Jason works his butt off, likes to have the occasional beer like everyone else, but shows up not drunk on set. And he doesn’t dress like Johnny Depp. He always dressed in that bohemian style.”

Heard’s representatives declined to comment but confirmed in the release that the notes were related to Aquaman 2 and a December 27, 2021 therapy session.

Another source close to the actress claims her lawyers have been fighting the release of the notes – which were “subpoenaed by Depp’s lawyers during discovery.”

The notes also stated that Heard targeted film director James Wan, claiming she was being treated poorly due to her legal battle with Depp.

Discussing Wan in the notes, the actress reportedly said, “He raised his voice @ me – I can’t even post about Aquaman – made it look like it was my fault – I said, ‘I’m sorry.’ When there was a blackout, no one could take selfies with me on set.”

Wan declined to comment to publication, but a DC spokesperson refuted the claims, saying: “James is known for treating members of his cast and crew with the utmost respect and fostering a positive, collaborative environment on set – the Aquaman films were no exception. .’

Sources further claimed in the publication that Heard was almost kicked out of the sequel by Wan and the studio due to a “lack of chemistry” with Momoa — but her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk saved her job.

It was claimed that a letter was sent to her lawyer Karl Austen informing Heard of the decision following Aquaman’s release in 2018 – and that Momoa had played no role in the decision to fire her.

Another source claimed that Heard did a chemistry test with Momoa before landing the role in the first film, beating out actresses including Abbey Lee.

Heard’s ex-boyfriend and Tesla billionaire Musk, 52, reportedly sent one of his trial lawyers a “scorched earth letter” to Warner Bros. threatened to burn the house down’ if Heard was not brought back for the sequel, a source claimed.

Warner Bros. then withdrew and kept Heard on board. Representatives from Warner Bros. and Elon Musk have been contacted for comment by DailyMail.com.

Musk first met Heard in 2012 when the actress was filming Machete Kills in Los Angeles, at a time when the star was in a tumultuous relationship with Depp.

When that marriage ended amid allegations of domestic violence, Heard quietly began spending more time with the South African-born billionaire before eventually confirming their status just months after the ink was dry on her divorce from Depp.

The couple dated for 12 months between 2017 and 2018, with Musk visiting her on the set of Aquaman in Australia. In February 2018, they finally called it quits for good.

It was also claimed that “at least” two scenes featuring Heard were cut from the sequel: an action scene in which Mera fights Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and a love scene with Momoa, insiders familiar with the production claimed.

In July, Heard broke her silence about returning to the role of Mera in the Aquaman sequel.

The actress, who reportedly earned $2 million for her role in the first film, said she was “honored” to return to the DC Extended Universe, but admitted there was “a lot of pressure.”

In comparison to her latest film, In the Fire, Amber said Deadline: ‘These are very different types of projects that represent two very different ends of the spectrum in my industry.

“There’s a lot of pressure on these big franchise films, with millions and millions of dollars at stake, and compromises are part of the effort to make them the most successful.

‘At the other end of the spectrum is a small indie film like In The Fire, a work of art and a labor of love, with not nearly the same resources, and so there are compromises.

‘The best luck you can have as an actor is if you can balance both. Aquaman, that franchise and the machinery behind it, I’m very honored, honored to be a part of that.

She continued, “And then there are those little passion projects like In The Fire, where I’m proud that I got to know the filmmaker and the cast, and that we got dirty together to breathe life into this story.

“There’s something cool about that, and I think success is an actor who can have both of those things.”

Heard starred in the first Aquaman film in 2018, but her return in the sequel was controversial after she accused her ex-husband Johnny Depp of abuse.

A petition was set up by the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor’s fans demanding her role be recast, accusing her of a ‘systematic crusade to ruin Depp in Hollywood’.

Johnny was dropped from the Fantastic Beasts franchise, after losing his case against News Group Newspapers for calling him a “wife beater,” which a judge said was “substantially true.”

The petition gathered millions of signatures, but Amber dismissed it, telling Entertainment Weekly: “Paid rumors and paid campaigns on social media do not dictate [casting decisions] because they have no basis in reality.’

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom stars Jason Momoa, as well as Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul Mateen II and Temuera Morrison. The release is scheduled for December 22.

In court papers seen by DailyMail.com the actor’s lawyers claim that they have made ‘multiple offers’ to get his wife to move out of the former marital home – but have failed to reach agreement with Christine, 49, a model turned handbag designer, leaving him effectively homeless.

Costner, 68, remarks: ‘This is surprising and disheartening to me.’

He adds: ‘I was married once before and, upon separation, found myself without a home base and unable to live in my own home.

‘I never wanted this to happen again.’

Costner, from Colorado, is worth $250 million and under the terms of the prenup, signed in 2004, she was to leave his properties if they split and relocate, using a $1.2 million fund to find a new house.

Johnny Depp, 60, and Amber Heard, 37, exchanged vows under a flower-adorned marquee on the beach of the Pirates of the Caribbean star’s private island Little Hall’s Pond Cay in the Bahamas in February 2015. 

However, it is understood they got married legally in Los Angeles first so his ailing mother was attend.  

After 15 months of marriage, the couple called it quits in what quickly became one of the most explosive break-ups in celebrity relationship history.

According to TMZ, Amber filed for a divorce citing irreconcilable differences and a source at the time revealed the couple did not have a pre-nuptial agreement. 

In a cruel twist of fate, Johnny’s mum Betty Sue Palmer passed away two before the papers were served. 

Following the split, the Aquaman actress accused her ex-husband of physical and mental abuse, which Depp denied. Following a defamation trial in the UK, which Depp lost, he successfully sued his ex in further legal action in the US over an op-ed in the Washington Post in which she wrote that she had become a ‘public figure representing domestic abuse’. 

During the defamation trial in Fairfax County, Virginia, which was broadcast live on television and watched around the world, each alleged the other had been abusive during their marriage.

The court heard instances of lit cigarettes being used in physical altercations and Depp drinking ‘pints of wine’.

Photos of Depp’s finger, which had been severed in a skirmish while the couple were visiting Australia, were shown to the court.

A jury found that Heard had defamed Depp and she was ordered to pay her ex-husband $1 million in damages.

Melanie Brown, 46, split from her film producer husband Stephen Belafonte in 2017 following 10 years of marriage. 

At the time, she claimed he had emotionally and physically abused her during their 10-year marriage – something which he has always vehemently denied. 

The following year, she detailed her allegations against her ex in a memoir, Brutally Honest, including that he had filmed them having threesomes.

The pair are still involved in a battle over their Chateau Miraval vineyard which they bought in 2008.

They were equal owners of both the wine making enterprise and the property and even got married there in 2014.

It’s been noted in court that the ex-married couple had an agreement to get consent from each other if they wanted to sell their half.

Brad accused Angelina of breaking the agreement when her share of the $160 million vineyard was passed onto a Russian oligarch. 

They added that Brad learnt about his new co-owner via ‘a press release,’ which said that they were ‘thrilled’ about the new opportunity, his lawyers claim. 

Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans 

Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans have been locked in a bitter divorce battle since their split with the pair also fighting for custody over daughters Ella, 13, and Elsie, nine.

Gruffudd and Evans announced that their marriage was over in January 2021 and he went public with his new romance that October.

Gruffudd filed for joint custody of his two daughters last July after Evans filed for sole custody amid their acrimonious divorce.

As well as requesting visitation rights, he claimed in the filing that Evans had been purposely trying to cut communication between him and his children.

In court documents seen by MailOnline this week, Gruffudd detailed the breakdown of communication between the pair after the end of their 14-year marriage and described their increasingly hostile encounters. 

Gruffudd alleged that Evans’s ‘verbal abuse and inappropriate behavior escalated after I moved out of the family residence’ on January 25, 2021.

He said: ‘Alice sent me hundreds of harassing, abusive and threatening communications by text, email, voice message, video message, and OFW (Our Family Wizard, a US co-parenting app), and she has verbally abused me on the phone and in person, often in front of the girls.’

Gruffudd also alleged that ‘during the April 19, 2021 drop-off, Alice asked me to look at her outfit, lifted up her skirt to show me her bare behind, and revealed to me and the girls that she was not wearing underwear. 

‘I left immediately. During a FaceTime with Elsie that night, Alice screamed that she wanted me to die.’ 

The revelations came in documents filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court after Ella applied for a temporary restraining order against Gruffudd and his girlfriend Biana Wallace, 30.

Gruffudd met aspiring actress Wallace in Australia while shooting the series Harrow.

They now live together in Los Angeles and Wallace, who has multiple sclerosis, recently gave a magazine interview about her condition and ‘Yo’s’ support and love for her.

In court filings, Gruffudd accused Evans of verbally abusing him during their marriage, and ‘undermining him’ in front of the girls throughout their lives.’

‘Alice made fun of my appearance often, making hair-loss comments and telling me I had ‘saggy-vagina eyes,’ court papers read.

He went on to claim that Evans ‘has inflicted serious emotional harm on Ella and Elsie by her statements and by interfering in my relationship with them.’

In March this year, charges that Evans had violated her restricting order were dropped.

Gruffudd is currently shooting the film Bad Boys 4 with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

As the doctor uses the still-new practice to try and cure the child, it becomes a race against time to save the boy, and perhaps her own life.

Amber will also appear in the upcoming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

She is expected to reprise her role as Mera for the superhero movie due out in December.
