The three biggest names in the quarterback market were taken off the board within 24 hours at the dawn of free agency, as Kirk Cousins, Baker Mayfield and Russell Wilson evaluated their markets and capitalized on their opportunities.

They all had different priorities at unique stages of their careers. And as they quickly secured their next contracts, the veteran trio also helped shape the QB market for the remainder of the offseason.

Mayfield started the chain reaction Sunday afternoon when he agreed to a three-year, $100 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wilson agreed to a one-year deal with the league minimum of $1.2 million on Sunday night with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cousins capped it off Monday afternoon when he signed a four-year, $180 million pact with the Atlanta Falcons.

While the moves and financial parameters were unique, they were also somewhat connected when they came together, according to at least a half-dozen sources with direct knowledge of the situations.

Mayfield had the best season of his career in his first-round pick with the Bucs, and the 28-year-old wanted to stay in Tampa after bouncing around the league for a few years. He has had eight head coaches and seven offensive coordinators while playing for four teams in his first six seasons, so continuity has been a goal of his for some time, league sources say.

Buccaneers and Baker Mayfield agree to a three-year deal worth $100 million

Mayfield appreciated the way the Bucs set him up for success last season, not only with former offensive coordinator Dave Canales, but also with coach Todd Bowles’ leadership and the culture of the veterans around the building. And while Canales left for Carolina, Mayfield is somewhat familiar with new offensive coordinator Liam Coen from their month together with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022.

The Bucs and Mayfield accelerated negotiations last week, and over the weekend they intensified with a series of offers and counter-offers. For Mayfield and that desire for continuity, the guaranteed money in the second year of the deal was especially important from a job security perspective.

He got $40 million fully guaranteed, with $30 million in 2024 and another $10 million in 2025, plus another $10 million for injuries. So as long as he plays well, Mayfield should be back with the Buccaneers in 2025. But if the Bucs decide to part ways after the 2024 season, he will have earned $40 million for his services.

Last month, league officials believed Mayfield could view New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones’ four-year, $160 million contract as a similar deal. And perhaps, if Mayfield had wanted to push his free agency in on Monday when the NFL negotiating window opened, he might have been able to find a deal with more total money.

But that’s not as easy as it sounds. Over the weekend, people around the league believed that Cousins would choose between the Falcons and Minnesota Vikings, leaving the losing team and the Buccaneers alone in a competition for Mayfield. But the hypothetical risk of that strategy could have led to the Vikings offering a low number and the Buccaneers withdrawing their best offer. And while the New England Patriots were high on Mayfield internally, a union between the sides simply didn’t make sense — once again, Mayfield left behind two potential suitors with the right cap space to make a good offer and the personnel to challenge for a division title.

Ultimately, Mayfield wanted to return to the Bucs. He received an offer that should provide him with security for at least two years and he accepted it.

The best chance to start

Wilson’s situation was very different from Mayfield’s. The Denver Broncos will officially release him on Wednesday at the start of the new league year, but they informed him of that decision last week and allowed him to visit with teams in the meantime.

Then there was the wildcard with the economy. The Broncos are still dependent on Wilson’s $39 million salary in 2024, which is significantly more than he could have gotten in free agency. So Wilson informed the teams that he would play for the minimum — with the Broncos picking up the balance of the account — so they could use their cap space elsewhere.

Wilson had two quality meetings with the Giants and Steelers. Both were considered exploratory sessions and they got a sense of their vision for the offense and Wilson’s goals for the season.

Kaboly: Russell Wilson could set the Steelers back years, so they better win now

The Giants made no guarantees about playing time, as Jones is expected to start once he is cleared of his torn ACL. As for the Steelers, who benched Kenny Pickett in the 2022 first-round pick last season, Wilson has a very realistic path to a starting job for a team that has consistently been in the playoff mix in coach Mike’s 17 seasons Tomlin never finished below .500.

Wilson met Friday with Steelers decision makers, including Tomlin, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and general manager Omar Khan. With Tomlin and Smith, the offense should again be physical with a strong ground game and provide plenty of opportunities for Wilson to throw the deep ball, assuming he wins the lane.

Wilson put together a better season in 2023 before the Broncos benched him in December, in part to ensure injury wouldn’t further complicate their offseason decision with the quarterback. If the 35-year-old can maintain that trajectory, he will increase his chances of a more lucrative payday in 2025, whether that be in Pittsburgh or elsewhere.

Takeaways from NFL agencies: What to make of the Day 1 run on running backs

A two-team race for Cousins?

Cousins, despite coming off a torn Achilles tendon, was the central figure in the quarterback carousel, and he had indeed established himself in Atlanta and Minnesota, where he played from 2018 to 2023. If any of those options fell by the wayside and financial offers plummeted, a league source said the Broncos likely would have become involved.

But dwindling offers haven’t been an issue as the Falcons and Vikings push hard for Cousins, who is guaranteed $90 million in the first two years of the deal. Cousins had previously crossed paths in Washington with new Falcons coach Raheem Morris, and quarterback should be a quick study with offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, whose principles are similar to those of Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell from their days along with the Rams.

The Falcons have also put together a better roster in recent years, and the arrival of Cousins should help them compete for the NFC South title and a playoff spot. They have a strong running game, an improving offensive line and attractive pass catchers in Drake London and Kyle Pitts.

It was a perfect recipe for Cousins, who turns 36 early next season.

The Vikings tried to keep Cousins, but they also knew it was important to prepare for the future at the position and couldn’t make the same financial commitment. So when the Falcons upped their offer, given the appeal of the roster and coaching staff, it all came together for Cousins.

The remaining QB market

There are still some moving pieces left. The Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders and Patriots have the first three picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, and indications are that each team will take a quarterback, with USC’s Caleb Williams, North Carolina’s Drake Maye and LSU’s Jayden Daniels among the expected candidates.

That essentially left only the Vikings, Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders with openings. The Raiders agreed to a two-year, $15 million deal with Gardner Minshew that could be worth up to $25 million, and he will compete with Aidan O’Connell. The Broncos still have Jarrett Stidham, while the Vikings appear to be starting over.

With Jacoby Brissett rejoining the Patriots, the free agent market is being highlighted by Sam Darnold, Joe Flacco and Ryan Tannehill. It still feels inevitable that the Raiders will release Jimmy Garoppolo, and the Bears should still want to trade Justin Fields. It’s conceivable that the Commanders could move Sam Howell, and the Jets are expected to part ways with Zach Wilson in some capacity.

With deals completed for Mayfield, Russell Wilson and Cousins, there is one final fascinating element in play. The final three teams in need of quarterback reinforcements – the Vikings, Broncos and Raiders, respectively – are ranked Nos. 11-13 in the draft. They could compete again for Michigan’s JJ McCarthy or perhaps even Oregon’s Bo Nix and Washington’s Michael Penix.

The veteran trio set the tone for more fireworks on the quarterback front over the next two months.

Since the very first on-screen kiss between May Irwin and John Rice, which was filmed by William Heise for Thomas Edison in 1896, thousands upon thousands of kisses have been captured on camera for movies and TV shows. Romantic movies are of course filled with couples locking lips, but kisses occur in all genres. Here are 10 interesting behind-the-scenes facts about some of the most iconic movie kisses.

10 Scarlett & Rhett's first kiss in Gone with the Wind (1939)

Vivian Leigh was the envy of many when she got to kiss Clark Gable Gone with the wind, but unfortunately the experience was not pleasant for her. “His dentures smelled something awful,” she reportedly said. However, it wasn't just the dentures that contributed to his bad breath, as he also had gum disease and a heavy smoking habit.

Clark Gable isn't the only Hollywood star whose bad breath made kissing a challenge. Liam Hemsworth said as he kissed his Hunger Games Co-star Jennifer Lawrence “was quite awkward” because “if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna or something that was disgusting.” But Lawrence defended himself a few years later, saying: 'It wasn't intentional. It was just what I was eating, and then we kissed![1]

9 Too short kiss in The Princess Bride (1987)

“Since the invention of the kiss, there have only been five kisses that have been rated as the most passionate and pure. This left them all behind.” That's how the grandpa (Peter Falk) comes in The princess bride describes the final kiss between Buttercup (Robin Wright) and Westley (Cary Elwes). Director Rob Reiner thought Wright and Elwes had scored the kiss on the first take, but the two actors kept asking to reshoot the kiss.

Reiner ended up with six takes, but it wasn't because the two actors had feelings for each other; in fact, in a 2014 interview with the Daily beast, Elwes described kissing Wright as “like kissing your sister!” It's weird.” And in his book As you wish (2014), he notes that he and Wright “were so giddy we were giggling like a couple of schoolchildren.” This kiss was the last thing he needed to film, and he says, “I could have kept filming that scene all day, because I don't think I wanted the movie to end.”[2]

8 Improvised kiss in Lost in Translation (2003)

Lost in translation ends with Bob (Bill Murray) saying goodbye to Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson) with a whisper and a kiss. In his typical style, Murray improvised throughout the film, and this kiss was his idea. Director Sofia Coppola told it Daily beast that the scene “was always meant to be a tender farewell where they both knew they had touched each other in some way. And I remember sometimes he would always say things to her, and it was nice to get her reaction.

The kiss wasn't the only thing he improvised, though; whatever he whispered in her ear wasn't planned either. “That thing Bill whispers to Scarlett It was never meant to be anything,” Coppola told IndieWire in 2018. “I wanted to figure out what to say later and add it in, but we never did.” However, this hasn't made fans any less curious. “People always ask me what is being said. I always like Bill's answer: that it's between lovers, so I'll leave it at that.[3]

7 No Ending Kiss in When Harry Met Sally (1989)

Written by Nora Ephron and directed by Rob Reiner, When Harry met Sally should have had a less romantic ending. “We had it where time passes, they meet each other on the street … and then they walk in opposite directions,” Reiner said Entertainment weekly in 2019. “I was single for ten years after being married for ten years, and I just couldn't figure out how it would work again.”

But then, while shooting, Reiner met his future wife, Michele Singer. “I fell in love and said, 'I see how this works,'” he explained The late-late show. The ending was rewritten, with Harry (Billy Crystal) going to a New Year's Eve party to declare his love for Sally (Meg Ryan) before they share a slightly belated New Year's kiss. Crystal herself even came up with the scene's most iconic line: “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”[4]

6 Jack & Rose's Choreographed Kiss in Titanic (1997)

Star-crossed lovers Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) share a few kisses throughout Titanic. But none are as iconic as their kiss on the bow of the ship at sunset. Director James Cameron knew this moment would be special, so he choreographed it very precisely during rehearsals.

“I drew little lips on my hands here like this, and I showed them exactly who's going to take the lead, who's going to apply the pressure,” he said. GQ. He described it as 'a football game on the lips', but one thing he couldn't control was the sunset, which only came into view on the very last day of outdoor shooting. The clouds parted just in time and everyone rushed to get into position. “I've never experienced this with an actor before or since in my life,” says Cameron. “Kate is standing there, she takes one look at the sunset, turns to me and shouts 'Shoot!'”

They managed to get two shots, but unfortunately one was completely out of focus. The other was half out of focus, but ended up in the film. Although some of the sunset is real, the film's cinematographer, Russell Carpenter, explains that due to time constraints, some close-ups had to be filmed indoors against a painted backdrop.[5]

5 Smothering kiss on the head in Spider-Man (2002)

The rain-soaked reverse kiss between Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) and Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) in Sam Raimi's 2002 Spider-Man stands out as one of the most iconic kisses from superhero films. Apart from the unpleasant feeling of being soaked by the cold rain, it wasn't much of a problem for Dunst, but Maguire described it as 'torture'.

“Rain was pouring down my nose,” he explained. “And then Kirsten pulls up the mask [my nose], and it blocks the air passage there, so I couldn't breathe. And then she kisses me, blocking the air passage there so I can't breathe anywhere else. Although the kiss looks romantic in the movie, it was “practically suffocating” and left him gasping every time the director called it cut.[6]

4 A rough kiss led to almost broken noses in Brokeback Mountain (2005)

Tobey Maguire isn't the only actor to suffer from a kiss scene. The romance between Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger). Brokeback Mountain is much less sweet than is typical of romance films, and their rough kissing style reflects this. Director Ang Lee said the two actors “almost broke each other's noses” after he encouraged them to kiss passionately, saying, “You could never kiss a woman that hard, so give me the most heroic Western kiss.”

Gyllenhaal also commented on the injury-causing pillow: “He grabs me, slams me against the wall and kisses me. And then I grab him, slam him against the wall and kiss him. And we did take after take after take. I got the sh*t beat out of me. We had other scenes where we fought each other, and I wasn't in as much pain as I was afterwards.[7]

3 Wanting Viggo's Kiss in Sixteen Candles (1984)

John Hughes wrote Sixteen candles with Molly Ringwald in mind for the role of Sam, but the casting of her love interest, Jake, was up in the air. It came down to Michael Shoeffling (who ultimately won the role) and the future Lord of the Rings star Viggo Mortensen. Ringwald recalls that “Michael Shoeffling didn't kiss me during the audition – Viggo Mortensen did.” Ringwald advocated for Mortensen to book the role, saying, “He made me weak in the knees.”

A few years later, Ringwald and Mortensen worked together Fresh horses (1988) and got a chance to talk about the audition. “I brought up the subject of how he kissed me and the other guy didn't. He said, 'I always thought that's why I blew the audition!'” Casting director Jackie Burch, however, says it wasn't the kiss that disappointed him: “I remember saying to him, 'I hear an accent.' He was so quiet. He didn't want me to hear his accent. I just didn't think he was right.”[8]

2 The spaghetti kiss in Lady and the Tramp (1955)

The scene where Lady and Tramp unknowingly slurp up the same strand of spaghetti and then accidentally kiss each other in the middle has been recreated by countless real-life couples. Given its iconic status, it may be surprising to learn that when the film was first storyboarded, Walt Disney decided to cut this dog kiss.

“Walt wasn't convinced this would be a very tight scene,” Steven Vagnini, studio archivist and official curator of the Disney fan club D23, explained to Yahoo Movies. “You can imagine that if you have two pets and they are eating a plate of spaghetti, it's hard to imagine that being too dainty.”

Animator Frank Thomas disagreed with Disney and therefore created concept art to prove that the spaghetti hug would be charming. Fortunately, Disney was convinced. The scene ended up being the first piece of animation that newly hired animator Willie Ito worked on. “I had no idea that the scene I initially worked on would turn out to be so iconic,” he said in 2018.[9]

1 The incestuous kiss in The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Back before it was revealed Return of the Jedi (1983) that Luke and Leia are actually siblings, they shared a kiss The empire strikes back. Although this unconsciously incestuous kiss is dismissed as merely an attempt by Leia to make Han jealous (rather than an expression of actual desire), their romantic connection was much stronger in earlier versions of the film. In the original script of Episode V, Luke declared his love for Leia, while in the second draft, Leia returned the sentiment (but then chose Han anyway).

This more explicit love triangle even reached the movie stage. A deleted scene – which takes place just before the infirmary kiss included in the film – shows Luke and Leia almost kissing. Luke tries to confess his feelings for Leia but, lost for words, decides to lean in for a kiss. She doesn't pull away, but the pair are interrupted by R2-D2 and C-3PO just before their lips touch. Luckily, these more explicit moments of attraction were removed from the final version, making the reveal that they were twins a little less awkward.[10]

LIVERPOOL are reportedly in talks to sell the rights to a documentary about Jurgen Klopp's last six months at the club.

The German manager announced last month that he would leave the Reds at the end of the season.

Liverpool have now announced that they are filming a fly-on-the-wall series that will be released at the end of the season.

The documentary hopes to show a successful end to Klopp's reign as manager.

Liverpool are currently on course to complete a historic quadruple victory, with the Carabao Cup final set to take place later this month.

The club also continues to play in the FA Cup and Europa League and leads the Premier League title race.

The Daily email have claimed that Disney+ is in “advanced discussions” about purchasing the rights to the documentary.

The report adds that the deal could earn Liverpool £10 million from the sale.

It was also suggested that Amazon turned down the opportunity to purchase the rights due to limited access to the dressing room.

This would be the same reason why Netflix has reservations.

FREE BETTS – BEST BETTS & BONUSES FOR NEW CUSTOMERS

Sky Sports and TNT Sports have also been approached about the rights to the series.

However, the report claims the price is higher than their normal documentary budgets.

Liverpool is not the first club to have a documentary filmed behind the scenes.

Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, Arsenal and Wrexham have released similar projects in the past.

Amazon's All or Nothing series featuring Arsenal and Manchester City was praised for its in-depth coverage of the clubs.

Klopp is said to have only signed the project after being assured that cameras would not film his players in the dressing room.

The Mail has suggested that Liverpool view Disney's offer as “too good to turn down”.

The manager had previously rejected the idea of a documentary after a proposal from Amazon in 2018.

By the mid-1980s, Tanya Berezin had come a long way as a stage actress in New York. She had received critical acclaim for her performances on Broadway over the years, and she had won an Obie Award for her role in Lanford Wilson's play “The Mound Builders” in 1975.

Still, she began to tire of the hustle and bustle. “When you're forty, it really seems that way inappropriate waiting for calls from people asking you to do a job,” she said in a 1993 interview. “It just feels very awkward and childish.”

Her burgeoning career crisis turned out to be an opportunity. In 1986, Ms. Berezin shifted her focus from the stage to a highly influential behind-the-scenes role in the theater world: artistic director of the Circle Repertory Company, a legendary Off Broadway incubator of talent that she had helped found in 1969.

Mrs. Berezin died Nov. 29 at the home of her daughter, Lila Thirkield, in San Francisco. She was 82. Mrs Thirfield said the cause of her death, which was not widely reported at the time, was lung cancer.

At the time, Circle Rep was often associated with the lyrical naturalism of playwrights such as Mr. Wilson and John Bishop, which focused on the daily struggles of the marginalized and underrepresented. Ms. Berezin stated from the beginning that she intended to expand the company's focus to include more experimental and current dishes.

“Her goal was to bring in more imaginative work — Craig Lucas, Jon Robin Baitz,” Marshall W. Mason, the company's founding artistic director, said in a telephone interview. “She didn't go towards the classics at all. Under my tenure we created Chekhov, Shakespeare and Schiller.”

This new direction was not always warmly received initially. “Certainly, everyone was confused last season,” Ms. Berezin said in an interview with The New York Times in 1988. “Our subscribers were confused; the press was confused.”

She was not deterred. “What I hope will happen is that Circle Rep will continue to confuse people,” she added. “It will never have one specific personality again. In a sense, we are a brand new theater that just happens to be important.”

Despite initial skepticism, Circle Rep blossomed artistically during Ms. Berezin's eight-year tenure, a period when the company broke new ground with plays such as “The Destiny of Me,” Larry Kramer's intimate portrait of a man struggling with AIDS; 'Three Hotels', the razor-sharp eye of Mr. Baitz on the capitalist mentality; and Paula Vogel's 'Baltimore Waltz', about a teacher's relationship with her terminally ill brother.

“It was the most amazing era,” Mr. Lucas, whose acclaimed plays “Reckless” and “Prelude to a Kiss” premiered at Circle Rep during those years, said in a telephone interview. “She invited a whole cohort of writers who were completely unknown to the New York theater audience, people whose plays had been rejected by every theater in New York. She said, 'I'm excited about what you're doing, and I'm going to create a laboratory where we can hear new plays.'”

But Ms Berezin's contributions to Circle Rep went back much further than that. Before taking over, she starred in many of the productions and mentored young actors, including Jeff Daniels, who joined the company in 1976.

Ms. Berezin “was the heart of Circle Rep,” Mr. Daniels said in a telephone interview. Before a performance, he recalled, “she had a way of saying that one thing that became the main thought that you would stick to the inside of your forehead and carry with you throughout the play, and that defined the character .'

In 1977, Mr. Berezin appeared with Mr. Daniels in “Brontosaurus,” a one-act play by Mr. Wilson. “We were cremated,” Mr. Daniels said. 'Mel Gussow of The Times called me 'empty as a balloon', if I remember correctly, and he wasn't wrong. I was just beside myself, crushed, as if I had been exterminated like an insect. She listened and listened, and what she said to me was, “You're going to have to learn to deal with the jealousy of others.”

Harriet Fayne Berezin was born on March 25, 1941, in Philadelphia, the only child of Maurice Berezin, a men's clothing store owner, and Bettye (Shifrin) Berezin, who managed the home.

Drawn to the stage at an early age, she was active in theater in high school and went on to study theater at Boston University. A director in a college production nicknamed her Tanya after noticing her skill in interpreting Chekhov and others, and the name stuck.

She moved to New York in 1963 to pursue her acting dreams and quickly became entrenched in the experimental theater scene that thrived in downtown Manhattan's cauldrons of creativity like La MaMa and Caffe Cino.

She became close to Mr Wilson, Mr Mason and Rob Thirkield, with whom she founded the Circle Theater Company, as it was originally known, in 1969. She married Mr. Thirkield that year.

In 1974, the company moved into the Sheridan Square Playhouse, located in a former garage in Greenwich Village. That same year, Mr. Gussow of The Times praised it as “the leading supplier of new American plays to the New York commercial theater.”

Ms. Berezin also appeared on television and in films until the mid-2000s. She has appeared in shows such as 'St. Elsewhere” and “The Equalizer” and in films such as “Awakenings”, with Robert De Niro and Robin Williams.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a son, Jonathan Thirkield, and two grandchildren. Her husband died in 1986.

Despite the creative triumphs during her years as artistic director, Circle Rep continued to struggle financially. Ms. Berezin left her position in 1994 and worked as an acting coach for more than twenty years. The company was closed in 1996.

When she left the company, Ms. Berezin told The Times of her plans to appear in a pilot for a series that Montel Williams was trying to get off the ground. Her role? A high school principal in Chicago.

“It's a lot like running a nonprofit,” she said. “Typecasting, don't you think?”

Mike Tindall has shared more behind-the-scenes photos from yesterday's London premiere for the new Netflix series.

The event, which marked the launch of the sports documentary Six Nations: Full Contact, was attended by former England rugby player Mike, 45, who is likely to take a special interest in tonight's event.

He was accompanied by his wife Zara Tindall, 42 – King Charles' niece, and the couple – who wore matching blazers – shared loved-up snaps on Instagram.

Now Mike has shared more information about the event, in a snap with sports presenters Natalie Pinkham and Anna Woolhouse.

He also posted a photo on Instagram of himself with his wife Zara and rugby player Danny Care.

Alongside the photo, Mike wrote: 'Great to catch up with some old friends last night at the launch of @sixnationsrugby's Netflix series #SixNationsFullContact.

“I was blown away by what I saw in Episode 1 and it was an incredible watch. Out next week and I can't wait.'

The series of photos followed previous photos shared by the couple.

Mike and Zara, who wore matching blazers for the event, shared loved-up photos from the red carpet on Instagram of them looking into each other's eyes.

Zara was typically chic in a checked navy blue coat, paired with a satin blue shirt and black velvet cropped trousers.

Meanwhile, Mike looked equally dapper in a blue double-breasted jacket.

The loved-up couple couldn't keep their eyes off each other and weren't afraid to show it, with their giant smiles emphasizing their cheerful mood.

The couple appeared in good spirits to watch the new series, which follows the teams who competed against each other in the 2023 Six Nations tournament, and the trials and challenges they faced behind the scenes.

Mike and Zara have had a busy month and just returned from a trip to Australia.

The couple – who have been married for almost 13 years – are brand ambassadors for racehorse auction house Magic Millions, a deal which reportedly earns them £125,000 a year.

As part of their work for the company, Princess Anne's daughter and the former rugby star travel to Australia's Gold Coast every year to promote the races.

Zara and Mike looked suitably glamorous as they arrived at the event this weekend – before the rugby player playfully took his turn in his wife's hat.

The mother of three opted for a beautiful orange and blue floral dress with floating cap sleeves.

Zara paired her shirt dress with a thick matching belt that cinched in her waist.

The former rider – who won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics – paired her dress with silver high heels and a matching clutch.

The royal completed her outfit with a cream fascinator, with orange and blue floral details that matched Zara's elegant dress.

The loved-up couple couldn't take their eyes off each other and weren't afraid to show it, with their giant smiles emphasizing their cheerful mood.

Meanwhile, Mike looked equally dapper in a cream suit, brown suede shoes and a navy blue striped tie.

During the day, the pair were spotted chatting with friends and drinking glasses of Aperol Spritz in their private box at the Magic Millions racecourse.

At one point, Zara walked onto the racetrack to pet one of the competing horses.

As they left, Mike was pictured playfully wearing his wife's fascinator in the car park – while Zara was nowhere to be seen.

The father-of-three, looking quite tough, appeared to keep the delicate piece of couture safe on Zara's behalf as they prepared to leave the racecourse.

An employee of the world’s largest cruise ship Icon of the Seas has given a sneak peek at what passengers can expect when they board at the end of this month, with everything from Japanese cuisine to mini golf on the menu.

Erica DePascale, who uses the handle @ericafromamerica on her social media channels, she boarded the 380-meter, 250,800-ton ship in Cádiz, Spain, on December 22 and arrived in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on January 2.

While on the 20-deck ship, Erica reveals that she and her colleagues have been ‘stress testing’ all the facilities on board, to ensure they are working before guests depart from Miami, Florida on January 27 for a seven-day trip. hours. -night flight around the Caribbean.

In one of her TikToks, Erica shows how she dined on Christmas Day at the ship’s Japanese restaurant Izumi (one of over twenty dining options on the ship) and she described the food as “amazing as usual” with a large bowl of ramen that brought her ‘back to life.’

Later they had a crew show and a bingo session in one of the ship’s theater rooms, which she said was a lot of fun.

Some of the other facilities Erica got to try out included laser tag, which she described as ‘such a cool experience’, as she tested her mini golf skills on the Lost Dunes course on the top deck of the ship.

The ship’s roof decks are also home to one of the largest water parks at sea, and Erica’s images give a preview of some of the standout attractions, including colorful water slides and a 40,000 liter pool that has yet to be filled.

In one clip, staff members, including the ship’s Santa Claus, are seen giving FlowRider, a 40-foot surfing simulator, a whirl.

In her latest TikTok, Erica is seen getting ready for the ship’s first New Year’s Eve extravaganza, which is reserved for the crew only, and she reveals that Royal Caribbean let her check into one of the ship’s most exclusive suites for the night for the occasion the ship.

She said of the walking tour: ‘I’ve done it before on Mariner of the Sea, but so I could go under the largest cruise ship in the world.

‘It was like walking through a cave that was pitch black.

“I mean, we literally walked under the ship, with our heads touching the bottom of the ship.

Before she left, Erica said she saw the ship transform as “a lot of construction was going on, a lot of artwork was being installed, [and] there is a lot of testing going on.’

“It’s just so amazing to see how the ship changes every day,” she told her fans.

In total, the ship features eight different ‘neighborhoods’, including Central Park with four living walls, and The Hideaway with the first hanging infinity pool at sea.

Icon of the Sea’s inaugural sailing includes a stop at ‘Perfect Day at CocoCay,’ Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas.

Prices for this year’s seven-night Caribbean cruise schedule start at around $1,800.

However, so far almost all of the “staterooms” have been reserved and paid for, and those that are still available cost between $4,793 and $7,121.

It can carry up to 7,600 passengers and 2,350 crew and promises to be one of the most environmentally friendly ships ever built.

It is powered by liquefied natural gas, which powers six engines and generates 67,500 kW (90,520 hp).

Michael Bayley, CEO of Royal Caribbean, said: “Looking at the energy and time that has gone into this ship, it is astonishing.”

Erica was one of 500 employees who set out on Icon of the Sea’s first major voyage. Another 500 would sail along the way and more will follow before holidaymakers can see it with their own eyes.

Charles III has given new insight into his first full year as king by sharing footage from his ‘Carriage Cam’ with Queen Camilla during the State Opening of Parliament in an upbeat video that rounds off the royal family’s 2023 year.

His Majesty is seen talking to his wife and waving to the crowd in a rare glimpse inside their horse-drawn carriage after it left Buckingham Palace and drove down The Mall on November 7 this year.

The images form the core of the King’s first tweet of 2024, in which he discusses the past 12 months and his duties in Britain and the Commonwealth.

There are also a number of clips of the Prince and Princess of Wales – but nothing of Prince Harry, who attended his father’s coronation in May without his wife Meghan Markle. Prince Andrew is also absent from the montage set to a fast-paced dance tune.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham and other political leaders are present in the montage. Charles’ trip to Kenya this year, which the Palace considers a success, is also extensively discussed, as are Camilla’s public engagements, including with Brigitte Macron. England Manager Gareth Southgate is also in attendance.

The King’s official Twitter account today tweeted: “Thank you for all the warm welcome across the country and around the world in 2023. I wish everyone a very happy 2024.”

The film begins with the ‘Carriage Cam’ footage and then continues with a series of other high-profile events.

There are numerous clips of the King and Queen at the coronation in May, both during the ceremony in Westminster Abbey and on the balcony of Buckingham Palace afterwards.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and other leading royals are featured in the montage of images.

But there is absolutely nothing of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle or their family. Prince Andrew is also absent, but he and his brother went to Sandringham for Christmas this year with his ex-wife, the Duchess of York.

The King and Queen beamed at well-wishers yesterday during their last church visit of 2023.

The couple spent the festive period with family in Sandringham. While other members of the royal family are now set to celebrate the New Year elsewhere, Charles and Camilla attended a Sunday morning service at the Norfolk estate. Both wore warm winter coats and carried umbrellas as they walked to St. Mary Magdalene Church, smiling, waving and chatting with the crowd.

They were greeted by the Bishop of Norwich, the Right Reverend Graham Usher, and the Reverend Canon Dr Paul Rhys Williams. Camilla opted for a light blue coat, which she combined with a matching hat. She completed her elegant ensemble with black heeled boots and leather-look gloves.

The king wore a long, dark brown coat and blue trousers, brown dress shoes and a white shirt.

They will stay at Sandringham until early in the new year before traveling to Birkhall, their Scottish retreat, for the rest of the month, the Mail understands. They can then look forward to a busy 2024, with visits to both Canada and Australia.

Their latest trip to Saint Mary Magdalene comes after the royal family celebrated Christmas Day with a traditional service at the church. For the second year in a row, the disgraced Duke of York was allowed to walk with the family, while his ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York, made her first public appearance in years for the service.
