Katie (@thislilshorty) shared the hair mistake in a TikTok video.

“Maybe I bleached my hair a little too much,” she said.

When a friend rinsed water over her bleached blonde roots, it evaporated from her locks almost immediately.

“Goodbye long hair,” Katie sighed.

“Congratulations, your hair is no longer dry and has reached hydrophobic status,” said one viewer.

“Omg! Self-drying hair!” said another.

In another videoKatie replied to a commenter who cringed at the sight of her ‘waterproof’ hair.

“As someone with a Cosmetology degree from TikTok, that’s not a good girl,” they said.

Katie showed off a shoebox full of hair and revealed she had cut off irreparably damaged locks.

“The way my eyes popped out of my socket,” said one shocked viewer.

a third video revealed that Katie still had a lot of hair left, just not as much as she would have liked.

The former brunette now had a shoulder-length blonde cut due to the hair loss.

“Don’t worry. My hair is still attached to my head and looks fantastic,” she said.

“Don’t use 30 bleach, guys. You might lose 50% of your hair.”

Executioners in Idaho on Wednesday abandoned their attempt to perform lethal injections on one of the nation’s longest-serving death row inmates after repeated attempts to tap a vein were unsuccessful.

Public defenders representing the inmate, Thomas Eugene Creech, and witnesses said officials attempted to insert needles into each of Mr. Creech’s limbs before abandoning the attempt. Mr Creech’s death sentence expired at the end of the day and he was returned to his cell.

It was Idaho’s first execution attempt in more than a decade.

The bust was the latest in a series of botched executions across the country, often due to executioners having trouble finding veins. Under legal pressure, some states have explored alternatives, including nitrogen gas, and Idaho is one of several states that recently approved the use of firing squads to carry out the death penalty.

After the botched execution, Mr. Creech’s lawyers filed a motion in federal court to halt further efforts to execute him and denounced the failures of the Idaho Department of Correction.

“We are angry but not surprised that the state of Idaho botched the execution of Thomas Creech today,” the attorneys said in a statement.

Mr Creech, 73, was convicted of five murders and suspected of others. He served 50 years in prison and was sentenced to death in 1983 for the murder of David Jensen, a fellow inmate whom Mr Creech attacked with a sock full of batteries.

Mr. Creech’s lawyers had tried unsuccessfully to prevent his execution, arguing in part that it was unconstitutional to kill Mr. Creech because he had been convicted by a judge and not a jury. Hours before his execution was to take place, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected his remaining appeals.

The state began executing Mr. Creech at 10 a.m. Witnesses said medical workers used vein finders, hot compresses and blood pressure cuffs to access the veins. They tried putting an IV in his arms first and then moving to his legs. At one point, a member of the medical team left the room to bring in more supplies.

Josh Tewalt, the director of the Idaho Department of Correction, said the medical team conducted an examination and believed it could achieve access to a vein. But the team later concluded there were problems with “vein quality,” he said.

Mr. Tewalt praised the team for its efforts. “Our first goal is to conduct this with dignity, professionalism and respect,” he said.

Media witnesses said that nearly an hour after the execution, Creech reported that his legs “were a little sore,” which the state attributed to cramps. Soon after, Mr. Tewalt consulted with the medical team and determined that an IV line could not be established, officials said. The state says it is considering next steps.

The failure came about a month after officials in Alabama, which had a series of botched lethal injections in 2022, executed a prisoner with nitrogen gas, the first time the method had been used in capital punishment in the United States. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall said the execution was “humane and effective.” But witnesses said the inmate, Kenneth Smith, shook and writhed for several minutes as the gas was administered.

A growing number of states have banned the death penalty, while others have had difficulty enforcing their execution schedules because they have been unable to obtain lethal drugs. Idaho was one of those states, although it was able to acquire the drugs after the Legislature passed a law in 2022 protecting the identities of those who supply them.

Mr. Tewalt said he could not say what the state would do next. While the firing squad was an option under Idaho law, he said the state does not yet have the capabilities to implement that. “We will continue to work on these efforts,” he said. He added that a change in state law is needed to make nitrogen gas an option.

“In terms of determining when to request a new death sentence, whether to request a new death sentence, these are discussions that need to happen in the coming days,” Mr. Tewalt said.

Saint Laurent designer Anthony Vaccarello has shortened the label’s silhouettes for winter, wrapping models tightly in sheer silk dresses in muted colors for the runway show.

Models traversed the center of the set — two large, circular rooms with green curtains — in sky-high sling-back heels, revealing sheer layers of high-waisted underwear, sharply cut, elongating the thighs and accentuated with narrow straps.

There were sleeveless tops that wrapped around the neck, blouses and bustiers with bows, while skirts remained the same length – just below the knees.

“The length is classic, but the content is new,” read the show notes, tucked into envelopes left at each seat.

They also mentioned the famous ‘naked’ dress worn by Marilyn Monroe, as a reference for the designer.

Adding contrast to the fitted looks were furry coats made from ultra-light feathers, creating more voluminous silhouettes.

The collection was “brimming with combination,” said Simon Longland, purchasing director at London department store Harrods, noting that the “ladylike and conservative” style, however, produced a “slinky” appearance.

Paris Fashion Week runs through March 5, with upcoming shows from Chanel, Hermes, Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton.

Speak with the times, she discussed how he noticed that before the procedure she was always having fun and always laughing.

But after that, she says, she was a “clinically depressed recluse,” only venturing out at night where no one would see her.

The treatment consisted of seven sessions of a non-surgical procedure called CoolSculpting, which aimed to freeze away fat from her jawline, thighs, abdomen and back.

It had gone terribly wrong and instead it had thickened and “grown into hard, numb bulges that rounds of liposuction and weeks of full-body compression garments couldn’t fix.”

According to the Times, it was a comment from Linda’s son Augie a few years ago that encouraged her to return to therapy so she could become the cheerful character she always was.

He said, ‘Do you remember when you were so cute? Do you remember when you always laughed?’ This was a ‘wake-up call’

Linda has struggled with a number of issues, including breast cancer, for which she underwent a double mastectomy in 2018, but will have to undergo radiotherapy in 2018.

She added, “I was like, I’m not having contractions anymore. I’m going to fucking fix this.’

A day after Alabama became the first state to execute an inmate with nitrogen gas, officials vowed Friday to continue using the method in executions, despite witness reports that the inmate writhed on the gurney for at least two minutes.

Two very different accounts of the execution emerged from the state's death chamber in Atmore, Ala., where the state executed Kenneth Smith, 58, Thursday evening.

The state's attorney general, Steve Marshall, called it a “textbook” execution that had made nitrogen hypoxia, as the trial is known, a “proven” method for other states to emulate.

“Alabama did it, and now you can do it too,” Mr. Marshall said, addressing colleagues across the country. “And we stand ready to help you implement this method in your country.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Smith's spiritual adviser and reporters who also witnessed the execution described an intense reaction in which Mr. Smith shook and writhed violently as the gas was administered, began breathing heavily and eventually stopped moving.

The descriptions contradicted what the state had promised in court papers: that the untested method of using nitrogen gas through a face mask would “rapidly reduce the oxygen level in the mask, ensuring unconsciousness in seconds.”

It was horrible,” said Deborah Denno, an expert on execution methods at Fordham University Law School. “Pain for two to four minutes, especially if you're talking about someone choking — that's a very long period and a torturous period.”

Mr. Marshall gave the go-ahead for prison officials to begin pumping nitrogen into Mr. Smith's mask at 7:56 p.m., about a minute before witnesses reported the inmate began writhing uncontrollably.

Lee Hedgepeth, a reporter in Alabama who witnessed the execution, wrote a detailed account of his observations in which he said that at 7.57pm Mr Smith 'began hitting the straps' on the stretcher, 'his whole body and head jerking violently back and forth for several minutes.'

Then, Mr. Hedgepeth wrote, Mr. Smith began panting, and by 8 p.m. he was still gasping for air, his body pulling on the restraints with each gasp, albeit less forcefully.

Criticism of the execution poured in from all over the world from organizations such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the European Union and Amnesty International. The White House press secretary said the Biden administration was “deeply disturbed” by the stories of Mr. Smith's death.

Mr. Marshall said 43 other inmates currently on death row in the state have opted for the nitrogen hypoxia method under a law passed several years ago that allowed them to choose that method over lethal injection. The state has notoriously bungled a series of lethal injections, including an attempt to execute Mr. Smith in 2022.

He was one of three men convicted in 1988 of murdering a woman, Elizabeth Sennett, whose pastor husband had recruited them to kill her.

“I think we will definitely have more nitrogen hypoxia executions in Alabama,” Mr. Marshall said.

Over the past 15 years, states have struggled with an embarrassing series of botched executions and the increasing difficulty of obtaining the drugs needed for lethal injections. Some have considered the pros and cons of older methods such as electrocution and firing squads, while others have seen more promise in new drug cocktails or nitrogen hypoxia, which asphyxiates the prisoner by replacing the air with pure nitrogen.

Still other states, including New Hampshire, Colorado and Virginia, have abolished the death penalty entirely. (A total of 27 states and the federal government have the death penalty.) Although a majority of Americans still approve of the death penalty, support for it has declined from 80 percent in 1994 to the mid-1950s in recent years. according to Gallup. Last November, Gallup found that half of Americans believe the death penalty is unfair, an all-time high.

Experts say support for the death penalty declines when executions fail or methods are considered unusual or inhumane.

Alabama is one of three states — Oklahoma and Mississippi are the others — that have allowed the use of nitrogen in executions. Although the gas has been used in physician-assisted suicides, Alabama's chosen method — administering the gas through a mask — differs from common practice and has raised concerns that a leak could endanger others in the death chamber could bring; that Mr. Smith could throw up in his mask; or that oxygen could mix with the nitrogen.

Robin Maher, the executive director of the Death Penalty Information Center, said Mr Smith's death in no way established the reliability of the method, and that human error is always a factor. “The risk is baked into this procedure and there is no way to know if it will be like this next time, if it will be worse or better,” she said.

She added that she didn't think other states would follow suit. “I hope and expect that other states will not want to take the risks that Alabama has taken on,” she said.

One state considering this is Nebraska, where the legislature abolished the death penalty in 2015 but voters restored it in a referendum the following year. Soon after, the state saw its supply of lethal injection drugs run out and was unable to carry out executions.

“Given the outcome of the Alabama case, we are confident that this will be a hotly debated bill in our state,” said Sen. Loren Lippincott, a Republican and sponsor of a bill that would authorize the use of nitrogen, in a written statement . . “If given this option, we are confident that the Nebraska Department of Corrections will use this method to humanely provide justice to the victims' families and to our community.”

The Rev. Jeff Hood, an Arkansas pastor who was the spiritual adviser in the execution chamber with Mr. Smith, disputed the idea that the execution had gone as officials expected.

He said he saw prison officials in the room who “seemed visibly surprised at how bad this case had gone.”

Experts said it was almost a rule that execution methods billed as humane or painless turn out to be far more complicated – either intrinsically, as in the use of cyanide gas, or due to human error. Autopsies and execution logs have repeatedly shown that executed prisoners were not given enough anesthetic to render them unconscious.

There will always be a debate about the experience of executions and how much prisoners like Mr Smith suffered, Ms Maher of the Death Penalty Information Center pointed out.

“The only person who could tell us about that is dead now,” she said.

It was November 17, 2022, and Kenneth Smith lay on a stretcher in the Alabama execution chamber, his arms and legs bound, as he waited to be put to death. Mr Smith, who had been on death row for more than a quarter of a century after being convicted of murdering a woman, recalled thanking God for the last week he was alive and thinking of his family.

At the time, the state used the same execution method used in the vast majority of modern American executions: lethal injection. And like many other states, Alabama had problems. That night, a team of people repeatedly tried and failed to place an intravenous line in Mr. Smith's arms and hands, eventually reaching a vein near his heart. The stinging stopped — according to his lawyers, who recounted in court papers Mr. Smith's experiences that evening — when prison officials decided they might not have time to carry out the execution before the death sentence expired at midnight.

Now, more than a year later, Alabama is once again preparing for Mr. Smith's execution this week, this time using a method never used in an American execution: nitrogen hypoxia. Under this method, which is used in assisted suicide in Europe, Mr Smith will be fitted with a mask and administered a stream of nitrogen gas, effectively depriving him of oxygen until he dies.

The execution, scheduled for Thursday evening, is the latest twist in the fraught battle over executions in the US, where a growing number of states are banning the death penalty; those who retain the punishment find it difficult to carry it out. Pressure from activist and medical groups has made it challenging for prison officials to obtain lethal drugs, and a series of executions in the past two years have been plagued by problems finding veins. Alabama is one of several states exploring alternatives, including nitrogen hypoxia, and some states have recently authorized the use of a firing squad.

This week's scheduled execution has galvanized death penalty critics who say Alabama prison officials are making Mr. Smith a test subject for an unproven and potentially macabre experiment. State officials claim that death from nitrogen hypoxia is painless because it causes a person to quickly lose consciousness. They note that Mr. Smith's lawyers themselves have determined that nitrogen hypoxia is preferable to Alabama's burdensome administration of lethal injection drugs.

Last week, a federal judge in Alabama spoke a request rejected by Mr. Smith's lawyers to halt the execution. Mr. Smith has appealed, and the case will most likely continue before the U.S. Supreme Court, which in recent years has been reluctant to halt executions at the last minute.

Mr Smith, who responded to written questions by email, said he was concerned the process could go wrong.

“I'm afraid we've told Alabama that these risks can happen — will happen — just as we warned them last year,” he said. “And they will do nothing to prevent these dangers from happening.”

The details of how the proceedings are expected to unfold are laid out in a 40-page protocol document Alabama released last summer, the public version of which is heavily redacted.

What is known is that Mr. Smith will be led from his cell at the William C. Holman Correctional Facility to the prison's death chamber. The complex is in Atmore, Ala., about 60 miles northeast of Mobile, and five reporters are allowed to witness the execution. Mr Smith is placed on a stretcher and a mask is placed over his face, after which he is given two minutes to say his final words. Then the prison guard or an assistant will begin pumping the gas into Mr. Smith's mask for at least 15 minutes.

Few people have an intimate knowledge of what a nitrogen hypoxia execution might look like. However, one of them is Dr. Philip Nitschke, a pioneer in assisted suicide, who recently invented a capsule that fills with nitrogen so people can end their lives.

Dr. Nitschke estimates he has witnessed at least 50 deaths from nitrogen hypoxia. He was called by Mr. Smith's lawyers in December to testify during their efforts to block the execution, and he met with Mr. Smith. After visiting the execution chamber in Alabama and examining the mask that will be used by the state in Mr. Smith's death, Dr. Nitschke said in an interview that he could imagine scenarios ranging from a quick and painless death to death with significant suffering if the situation arose. going wrong.

He said the major difference between Alabama's protocols and those of its assisted suicide in Europe and Australia lies in Alabama's plan to use a mask. He said it would create a greater chance of a leak – which would let in oxygen and prolong the process – than a chamber, capsule or plastic bag.

“I'm worried about Kenny, and I just don't know which way things are going to go,” said Dr. Nitschke about Mr. Smith, who he said seemed very nervous when the two met.

“What he would have liked to hear from me,” said Dr. Nitschke, “was that this would work well.” But, he said, he didn't feel he could promise Mr. Smith that much. Instead, he viewed Alabama's protocols as a “quick and nasty” attempt at nitrogen hypoxia, ignoring the potential dangers of vomiting and air leakage.

During the execution, Mr.'s spiritual advisor will be in the room. Smith present, Rev. Jeff Hood, who lives in Little Rock, Ark. He started in November with Mr. Smith developed what he describes as a close bond, and planned to be present during the performance.

Mr. Hood said in an interview that he feared what Mr. Smith would have to endure, and he raised the possibility that Mr. Smith might physically resist the execution attempt.

“This is not going to be a peaceful experiment,” Mr Hood said, adding: “I think it's important that people realize that if you tie someone up like that, you can't expect someone to suffocate – suffocate to death – for no reason. to resist.”

Mr. Hood said he also worried about his own safety and noted that prison officials needed him to sign a waiver that warns of the potential dangers of nitrogen and to keep a distance of one meter from Mr Smith while wearing the mask.

Mr. Smith is executed for the 1988 stabbing murder of Elizabeth Sennett, following testimony that Mrs. Sennett's husband, a minister, had offered to pay Mr. Smith and two other men $1,000 each to kill her. (The preacher, Charles Sennett Sr., later committed suicide.) The jurors who convicted Mr. Smith voted 11 to 1 to spare his life and instead sentence him to life in prison, but a judge overruled them and sentenced him to death. In 2017, Alabama no longer allowed judges to overrule death penalty juries in such a manner, and such rulings are no longer allowed anywhere in the United States.

Mr Smith said he did not believe it was the judge's right to overrule the jury's verdict in his case. Since the failed execution attempt, Mr. Smith said, he had suffered from severe anxiety and depression.

For Ms Sennett's sons, the execution cannot come soon enough – especially after the failed attempt in 2022 – and they have said the new method caused them little concern.

“Some of these people say, 'Well, he doesn't have to suffer like this,'” one son, Charles Sennett Jr., said told WAAY 31 television station. “Well, he didn't ask Mom how to suffer. They just did it. They stabbed her several times.”

Mr Sennett said he and other family members planned to attend the execution.

Another son, Michael Sennett, told NBC News last month that he was frustrated that the state had taken so long to carry out an execution that the judge had ordered decades ago.

“I don't care how he gets out, as long as he gets out,” he said, noting that Mr. Smith had “spent twice as long in prison as long as I've known my mother.”

A slew of botched executions in Alabama, including that of Mr. Smith, prompted the state's governor, Kay Ivey, a Republican, to order a temporary pause in executions while prison officials reviewed their procedures. Ms. Ivey lifted the pause after a few months, with prison officials describing some minor changes and a new rule that gives the state more time to carry out executions.

Since executions resumed, the state has killed two death row inmates and has not had the kind of problems that plagued previous attempts.

Polls consistently show that a small majority of Americans support the death penalty, with a sharp divide along political lines. Most Republicans (81 percent) and only 32 percent of Democrats support the death penalty for people convicted of murder. one Gallup poll last year.

Still, the number of executions has declined significantly since the modern peak of 98 in 1999. Last year, states executed 24 people, and the federal government has played an increasing role in recent years. The Trump administration has put 13 people to death by lethal injection, the first executions by the federal government since George W. Bush was president.

Last week, the Justice Department under President Joe Biden, who campaigned on ending the federal death penalty, said it would seek the death penalty against a white gunman who killed 10 Black people in a racist attack on a Buffalo supermarket.

An influencer who paid £5,000 for liposuction to tackle her double chin has revealed how a botched procedure left her looking like Lord Farquaad from Shrek.

Robyn McManus, 28, from Dublin, Ireland, feared for her life when she developed a hematoma, which caused her face to swell uncontrollably.

The social media star – who has 11,000 Instagram followers – explained how she was bullied as a teenager because of her double chin and it was an insecurity that followed her into adulthood.

She said: 'When I was in my third year of high school, I fell victim to a mass bullying attack where a group of teenagers from a local school sent mass text messages to my phone saying: double chin.

'I then took mock exams and it really had an impact on my mental health and self-confidence.

'I then took mock exams and it really had an impact on my mental health and self-confidence.'

Robyn says that more prominent double chins tend to run in her family and also explained that her polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is another contributing factor.

In January 2023, the social star – who has a total TikTok following of 18,000 – took out a loan to pay €6,000 [£5,100] to undergo liposuction on her chin.

After being admitted to a leading clinic in Ireland, Robyn was put under general anesthesia and underwent Renuvion – a minimally invasive surgery – to tighten the area.

However, Robyn's first surgeon didn't remove enough fat, but the clinic repeatedly told her it was just swelling and she had to be a patient to see results.

In the months that followed, Robyn claims she had “millions of lymphatic drainages” to reduce the “swelling.”

She wrote in a TikTok, “I was told to wait until it healed but I just knew there was still fat and no swelling.”

Robyn started sharing her progress on TikTok – and followers encouraged her to take legal action against the clinic.

WHAT IS A HEMAMATOMA?

A hematoma is a collection of blood outside the blood vessels

The accumulation of blood can turn into a hard and tender mass

They are located under the skin in a soft tissue. They often appear as a purple bruise

Pain, swelling, redness, and unsightly bruising are the most common symptoms of a hematoma

If you notice signs of a hematoma, the NHS recommends going to the nearest emergency department or calling 999.

After a few months had passed, the clinic then offered to perform another operation for free to achieve the desired effect.

Robyn continues: 'During the operations I felt extremely deflated, I had taken out a loan that I will have to pay back for years and was so discouraged that I still had a double chin after everything.

'I spent a lot of money on massages to reduce the swelling, but to no avail. I also worked very hard to lose weight, but my chin wasn't getting any better.'

A week after her second operation, Robyn was brushing her teeth when she noticed her face was rapidly swelling again and was rushed to Tallaght Hospital A&E.

She recalled, “When I noticed how scared my stepmother was, I started to believe I was going to die. I went from petrified to calm as I began to accept that something was seriously wrong, and that I might not make it.

In the weeks after her second surgery, the area also became increasingly bruised and painful – and she dubbed the area “Helena the Hematoma.”

'I remember saying to myself, 'Don't die sitting in the car, waiting to get through the hospital door, when my stepmother would have to park the car.

'I arrived at A&E and was rushed through triage before being immediately seen by doctors and nurses and sent to radiology for an urgent CT scan.

“They said it was a bleed known as a hematoma.”

After treating the hematoma, Robyn was released from hospital, but the star said the swelling made her look like Lord Farquaad from Shrek.

In her TikTok, she wrote, “Fired home to take care of the clinic and look like Lord Farquaad. So upset and deflated.”

Robyn (pictured) explains: 'She added: 'Although this procedure wasn't as easy for me, I'm still absolutely thrilled with the results and can't believe my face shape when I look in the mirror.'

In the weeks that followed, the area also became increasingly bruised and painful – and she dubbed the area 'Helena's hematoma'.

But once she got past this stage, the star said her jaw started to look “swept away” and she finally achieved the results she actually craved.

She added: 'Although this procedure wasn't easy for me, I'm still absolutely thrilled with the results and can't believe my face shape when I look in the mirror.

'It's not perfect because I still have some fat under the muscle, but I wasn't looking for a miracle that I could accept my face.

'My stomach no longer drops when I catch a glimpse of my side profile, so I'm incredibly grateful for that.

'I have lost a significant amount of weight since this surgery, and I really believe the kinlipo has helped because I am starting to love myself and therefore treat my body with more love.

'I suppose I would want to inform people about the risks, there are still risks during my procedure both at home and abroad, but in my case being at home meant I got aftercare and follow-up, something that I might not have had it if I had flown to another country.'

Skye Wheatley has had a breast enlargement after her botched Thai breast surgery.

And the 29-year-old said on Friday that she is very happy with the results.

“Yes, it’s all fixed, luckily I’ve done them before,” she replied to a fan who asked her if she was happy with her ‘double bubble’ solution.

Skye posted the caption alongside an image showing off her revamped chest as she posed with her partner Lachlan Waugh.

The former reality star also showed off her boob job while on holiday in Fiji, posing in a series of bikinis.

The controversial influencer is getting another boob job after years of trying to fix a botched breast augmentation she had in 2015 when she signed a promotional deal with a medical tourism company in Thailand.

She wanted to have larger implants fitted to avoid having to have a breast lift to try to repair her ‘double bubble’ – which is when a breast implant sits lower than the original breast fold.

In her Instagram Stories, the mother-of-two said she was keen to show off her breasts online so her followers could see how deformed they are and why she wants to undergo more surgeries.

To get around this, Skye said she would happily send pictures or videos to any of her fans who wanted to see it, and they could also send her pictures of their breasts.

Skye told her fans: ‘It’s time, we’ll get the girls freshened up next week, I’m going to see Dr. Richardson, he had so many pictures on his page of boobs that I loved looking at.

‘The plan is for me to get a little bigger to avoid the elevator. I wish I could show you the whole thing, but I do that with girls in my DMs, so if you want to see a picture or video of my boobs, just DM me, we’ll exchange pictures of our boobs.’

Skye said she got 500cc implants, which is at the high end of the large range according to The Aesthetics Society.

She continued, “So my right boob is 425cc and my left boob is 350cc and I honestly feel like they look the same size so going 75cc bigger isn’t going to make that much of a difference.

“I really trust @brisbaneplasticsurgery, I trust his judgement.”

In 2015, Wheatley traveled to Thailand to have her breasts enlarged as part of a promotional deal with a medical tourism company.

She claimed for years that she didn’t like her uneven breasts, one of which was an A cup and the other a C cup.

The Instagram model had hoped the augmentation would fix her asymmetrical breast, but after waking up the next day with D-cups, she complained of creasing in the crease under the right breast.

Previously speaking to Daily Mail Australia about the ordeal, Wheatley warned young girls not to be lured by the promise of cheap plastic surgery abroad, saying: ‘Don’t stay in Australia, it’s not worth it.’

She added: ‘If something goes wrong you will have to pay for a new flight to fix the problem. Do your research, I wish I had done mine better.”

‘I want my old breasts back because it will cost too much to fix and be so much hassle than if I had them done in Australia.’

  • The comedian’s death remains under investigation after initial reports that he died in a collision turned out to be untrue

Beloved comedian Kenny DeForest tragically died Wednesday, less than a week after being hospitalized following a horrific crash in Brooklyn. He was 37 years old.

According to a GoFundMe On the page set up by DeForest’s friends, the comedian was riding his e-bike when the December 8 crash occurred. He died five days later at Kings County Hospital.

DeForest was best known to mainstream audiences for his appearances on the late night comedy circuit, including stand-up bits on Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Doctors tried to relieve pressure on his brain by removing a piece of skull, but the operation was unsuccessful. The money raised will go towards helping his family pay medical expenses.

Deadline reports that the crash occurred in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. Friends and family initially believed DeForest was killed when his bicycle was hit by another car, but the ambulance report made no reference to any other vehicle being involved.

‘We received more information today from an ambulance report. Kenny was on an e-bike and crashed. I spoke to cross guards in the area today and am still looking for more information. There is no police report because it was not a hit and run as first believed,” his friend Ryan Beck told the website.

“He was a great person and comedian. All of us in the New York comedy scene are truly devastated,” Beck added.

DeForest, a native of Springfield, Missouri, recently promoted a series of shows in his home state on his Facebook page. In high school and college, DeForest was known as a basketball star.

In 2015, he was named one of Comedy Central’s “Funniest People to Watch.” That same year, Brooklyn Magazine named him one of the 50 funniest people in Brooklyn.

“Kenny DeForest was a widely beloved comedian who died tragically and far too young. His relaxed, confident performance always stood out,” read a moving tribute on Late Night with Seth Meyers’ official X page.

“As you can tell from his late night debut on LNSM, he wasn’t afraid to tackle controversial topics, but never just be edgy – always in service of an original angle and a great joke. It’s a shame we don’t get to see what he comes up with next.’

Caroline Stanbury showed off the results of her facelift in a series of Instagram photos on Friday, two weeks after undergoing the surgery that left her looking like she’d ‘been in a car accident’.

In the photos, the 47-year-old reality TV personality — who once dated Prince Andrew — celebrated Thanksgiving with her husband, Sergio Carrallo, 29.

The Real Housewives Of Dubai cast member also wrote a short message in the caption of her post that read, “NEW FACE, NEW ME ♥ #happythanksgivng Grateful for many things in my life!”

Stanbury added that at the time the photos were taken, she was on her 14th day of recovery.

She also posed a video of her and Sergio kissing for the camera, alongside the saucy caption: ‘Let them talk #facelift’

Caroline revealed last week that she had her facelift in Los Angeles ‘without any information’.

Since returning to Britain, she has appeared on her podcast Uncut and Uncensored with her Spanish husband Carrallo, who is 18 years her junior.

Footage shared by the podcast on their Instagram last week shows her covering her face with huge sunglasses while wearing her hood and the microphone in front of her.

The socialite admitted on the podcast: ‘I decided to get a facelift without any information. I skipped that surgery like having a mole removed.

“This is LA – so, unlike other places where you’re sort of taken to the hospital and feel like you’re having a medical experience, here you’re taken to a back room of an office, just like you’re having a filler. They put you to sleep and removed your face.

“It felt like I had been in a car accident and there was no way the car had won.”

Stanbury, who has three children, said of the ordeal with the unnamed doctor: ‘He managed to cut two inches off my neck and then the full width of my ear off my face.

‘The shape of my face is completely wrong for a human: the top half is wider than the bottom half, and my neck is too thick. I have stitches on the front and back of my ear and on my eyelids.’

She explained why she went under the knife: ‘I wanted to look exactly like me, but fresh.

Fresh face: Stanbury, who has three children, said of the ordeal with the unnamed doctor: ‘He managed to cut two inches off my neck and then cut the entire width of my ear off my face’

‘I’ve had my upper lip and my eyelids done, where they remove the excess skin, because I’m 47. I did the lower neck, and my neck is so tight now.

‘I really thought it was half a facelift and I only had one appointment and paid the money.’

She said of the results: ‘There’s no trace of my face in that face – it’s petrified. I wanted to sue my doctor because if you just look at your face, everything is in the wrong place.

“Obviously after the surgery things swell differently, on each side, nothing looks even, and my neck doesn’t move, so it looks like a tree trunk.”

Sergio said he was desperate after her surgery.

“There are two women – the one last week and the woman this week – I don’t recognize her,” he said.

‘It was the worst experience of my life. I cried; I tried to look for her and find my wife.”

He adds: ‘Mentally and emotionally I was on the floor. No words can describe how much I suffer when I look at my wife.

“I don’t want my wife to look fake, I want her to look natural.”

Caroline, who was previously married to Turkish businessman Cem Habib, said she was also moved to tears.

‘When he cried, I started to cry, but my tears were blood. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done and no one prepares you for it.’

Despite her painful ordeal, she hopes there is light at the end of the tunnel.

She said: ‘They say I should feel more human on day 11. My friends who did it said it would make me feel a lot more like myself.”

The Bravo star’s husband shared a video on his Instagram on Thursday documenting his wife’s experience receiving her facelift.

The video started with Carrallo, 29, sitting in his car waiting for his wife’s surgery to finish, and he also shared his reaction to seeing her for the first time after the procedure.

The reality TV personality’s wife also included several clips from the first few days after surgery, in which Stanbury’s face and neck were bandaged.

He then shared clips taken while his wife was adjusting to her new look and undergoing several post-operative procedures.

Carrallo concluded his video by showing his wife’s face during the final stages of her healing process.

Stanbury’s husband also wrote a lengthy message in which he recalled that seeing his wife emerge from the operating room was “probably one of the hardest moments of my life.”

“It was very difficult to see the person you love with all your heart suffering and in pain…,” he added.

Carrallo then revealed that although he objected to the procedure, he was determined to support his wife in whatever she wanted to do.

“As a husband, I will always support her and be there for her, and as much as I was against it, she really wanted to do it. So I was there for her and supported and helped her day in and day out,” he wrote.

Stanbury and Carrallo got engaged in January 2021 and married in December.

90s supermodel Linda Evangelista, 58, who was once considered one of the most beautiful and striking beauties in the world, has spoken about the guilt she once felt after undergoing a surgical procedure.

Linda Evangelista was considered one of the most beautiful women in the world during her heyday

Sh added, “I was like, I’m not having contractions anymore. I’m going to fucking fix this.’

The supermodel has been at the center of a number of further personal controversies in recent years, and the botched surgery is just one.

Speaking recently on the first episode of Kirsty Young’s new BBC Radio 4 podcast Young Again, she reflected on her marriage to Gerald Marie at the age of 22, and branded her younger self an ‘idiot’ for marrying so young got married.

Supermodel Linda Evangelista has opened up about the guilt she felt for not speaking out about her experiences in her marriage to a man who was later at the center of multiple accusations as part of the fashion industry’s Me Too moment.

The Canadian supermodel, 58, appeared where she reflected on her marriage to Gerald Marie at the age of 22, and branded her younger self an ‘idiot’ for tying the knot so young.

She broke down in tears while discussing allegations of rape and sexual misconduct against her ex-husband, the former boss of Elite Models, which first surfaced in 2020.

The accusations, which Marie denies, relate to the 1980s and 1990s. Due to a statute of limitations in France, the police announced earlier this year that they would end the investigation.

The allegations, which Marie denies, relate to the 1980s and 1990s and, due to a statute of limitations in France, the police announced earlier this year that they were ending the investigation.

Speaking about the allegations, Evangelista, who was married to Marie for five years, says she wonders whether things could have been different if she had spoken out about the abuse she says she suffered from him at the time.

She tearfully told Young, “If I had spoken up and said something about what happened to me, maybe they would have come forward at that point and the statute of limitations wouldn’t have expired.”

She added that she felt “guilty” for not speaking up sooner, but Young was quick to point out that she shouldn’t take the blame for things her ex-husband allegedly did.

When the supermodel recalled marrying Marie when she was 22 years old and he was 37, she said, “I was so sure that this man loved me, this charming, charming, sweet man.”

She added that she was “naive” and encouraged all young women now in the same situation to “listen to your parents,” as she wished at the time.

At the time the allegations against her ex-husband came to light, the supermodel supported Marie’s accusers and praised them for speaking out.

She stated in the documentary The Super Models: ‘Thanks to the strength of all these women who came forward, God bless them all, it now gave me the courage to speak…

“I would like to see justice served. I would love for holes like that to think twice and be afraid, and I would like women to know they are not alone.”

While revealing her guilt to the podcast host, Evangelista added that she has undergone therapy to deal with the allegations against her ex-husband, and has learned that none of the accusations about his behavior are due to her own actions.

Reflecting on the fact that she does not have her old figure back even after two attempts to correct it through liposuction, the supermodel said that she is learning to live with and love her new body.

At the end of the episode, a statement from Gerald Marie, released by his legal team, read: “Allegations that he committed crimes against models in the 1980s and 1990s are false and defamatory.” It added that he “is and will remain innocent.”

Regarding the claims that he abused Evangelista during their five-year marriage, Marie’s lawyers say he “strongly objects to the defamatory and false allegations made against him.”
