Dani Dyer has revealed what she really thinks about the vulgar West Ham song, inspired by her relationship with the club's right winger Jarrod Bowen.

When her boyfriend is on the field, fans can't help but belt out Gala's 1990s dance classic Freed from Desire, but with the crass lyrics: “Bowen's on fire and he's s***ging Dani Dyer.”

Now Dani has revealed how she really feels about the chant during an appearance on a new comedy podcast: Straight to the comments!

The Love Island star, 27, is the first guest on the new podcast, which embraces the hilarity and absurdity of the MailOnline comments section with the celebrities in question.

Speaking to presenters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, Dani was asked about the chant and recalled the awkward time fans saw her in the stadium.

She mused: “Not so long ago I went to an away game, and usually I don't like going to the away games because there are die-hard fans who are crazy.

'I really needed something to drink, so I thought, honestly, I would rather have died of dehydration, that was the better option.

“I came out and they were all looking at me and they were all singing the song, I was literally in the middle of the crowd. It's fine, it's so good, it really doesn't bother me.'

Dani found love with Jarrod in 2021 and the couple share twins Summer and Star, eight months.

She is also mother to son Santiago due to her relationship with ex-boyfriend and convicted conman Sammy Kimmence, who served a year for defrauding vulnerable pensioners out of £34,000.

During her podcast chat, Dani was asked how she integrated the footballer into her famous family, recalling Jarrod's first meeting with her father Danny Dyer.

She revealed: 'It was fine! He kind of knew Jarrod because Jarrod plays for a team he supports. So my father supports West Ham.'

When asked if it would have been a problem if Jarrod played for West Ham's rivals Millwall, Dani replied: 'No! I don't know, he wouldn't care.

'Listen, people always say, “oh, I bet your dad thinks that's great because you're dating someone from West Ham”, but he can be a real bastard, you know what I mean?

“And he's not, so I guess that was just a bonus. The West Ham thing was a bonus.”

While Dani may have her dad's support in her partner, she revealed she didn't have his blessing when it came to her famous stint on Love Island.

Describing his reaction when she told him she was going on the ITV dating show, she admitted: 'Horrible, he didn't really speak to me.

'There were rumors that I was doing it and I didn't really know if I was, and then he mentioned it to me and originally I said, “No dad, I'm not going through with that,” and then I was like, completely lie to me.

“A week before I started, I told him I was going.”

She revealed that he still hadn't calmed down when she flew to the villa, recalling: 'He just put the suitcases in the car and he said, “Yes, okay, see you later”.'

Yet Danny was soon won over, and 'babbled like a baby while watching the show every night.

Elsewhere in the podcast, the mother-of-three revealed that Oscar nominee Keira Knightley babysat her as a child.

Dani explained, “It didn't take that long; the partner she was with at the time was in one of my father's films. I was obviously very young and she was just taking care of me.”

Dani continued: 'I think she did Bend It Like Beckham because I remember looking at her and thinking, “I know who you are”.

'When we got home from the film set, my mother said, “That's Kiera Knightley!” and I thought “oh my god”.

When asked what Keira was like as a babysitter, Dani revealed, “she was sweet; it was years and years ago, but she was beautiful!'

Bijou Philips looks forward to the future after parting ways with Scientology as her estranged husband, Danny Mastersonis serving his 30-year prison sentence.

“She left quietly [the religion],” a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of We weekly. “But that doesn't mean she doesn't talk to her friends and family who still work in Scientology.”

According to a second insider, Phillips' inner circle has evolved since her departure. “[Based on] who she hangs out with, it's clear she's left Scientology behind,” the source added.

Phillips' choice to part ways with the controversial religion comes after she filed for divorce from Masterson, 47, last year following his legal troubles. Masterson was sentenced to 30 years behind bars after being found guilty of two counts of forcible rape for incidents that took place in the early 2000s. The actor has vehemently denied the allegations since he was arrested and charged in 2020.

Days after Masterson was sentenced in September 2023, Phillips, 43, filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage. A month later, she filed for full custody of the duo's 9-year-old daughter, Fianna. Masterson responded by agreeing to give Phillips full legal and physical custody, but requested visitation rights.

“Bijou is trying to put the whole sordid mess behind her and focus on building a new chapter,” a third source tells Us.

Masterson and Phillips started dating after meeting at a celebrity poker tournament in 2004.

“Every man at the table flirted with me, except Danny,” Phillips recalled Paper magazine in 2009. 'He didn't laugh at my jokes. I thought, 'Who is this Danny Masterson and what does he think he's doing?'”

Chloe Lewis has given more insight into her split from boyfriend Danny Flasher.

The former TOWIE star, 33, announced in November that she had split from the businessman, with whom she shares son Beau, four, after seven years.

Still, Chloe didn't rule out finding love and expanding her family again, as when asked if she wanted more children, she revealed: 'I've always wanted a big family.

'Becoming a mother was harder than I expected, but I love it, there is no feeling about it. So never say never!'

Phillips, for her part, filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage, just days after Masterson’s conviction. “This experience has been devastating and humiliating for Bijou,” a source said exclusively Us in September. “She’s focused on motherhood and securing her future no matter what.”

Despite Masterson appealing the verdict, Phillips requested that “the court’s ability to grant relief” be terminated against Masterson and asked that their assets be divided by the court as separate property.

“Bijou is very sensitive about her family’s financial security, and the impending divorce is clearly a big part of that plan,” the insider continued. “The only reason she is filing to end the marriage is to keep a significant portion of Danny’s assets out of the reach of further litigation.”

A first look at the festive special Strictly Come Dancing was released on Tuesday ahead of its Christmas Day broadcast.

Danny Cipriani quit starring in I’m A Celebrity this year due to the ongoing breakdown of his two-year marriage.

MailOnline can reveal the ex-England fly-half was set to be paid a six-figure sum to appear in the Jungle, but just days before the show was due to air he announced his divorce from wife Victoria.

Sources at ITV confirmed in August that the rugby star would appear on the show and that bosses at the channel were pulling out all the stops to ensure he did.

His name even prompted other participants to participate.

So it came as a surprise when the 36-year-old wasn’t announced as part of the official line-up for this series.

All was going well in the marriage until the summer, but in September relations began to crumble after Victoria, 42, had reservations about lurid content in his autobiography, friends of the couple told MailOnline.

The former England executive, 36, boasted of sleeping with three women a day ‘from porn stars to actresses to girls I meet in the coffee shop’ at a time when ‘threesomes became the norm’.

Since then the couple have had a series of ‘difficult’ rows over text messages on his phone, with Victoria ‘becoming increasingly unhappy in recent months’ and reportedly split four days ago, with divorce lawyers called in.
