Ryan Gosling brought his favorite Oscars date to the red carpet tonight: his older sister Mandi, along with their mother Donna and stepfather Valerio Attanasio.

Mandi – who also attended the prestigious awards with her brother when he received the Best Actor nomination in 2017 – made a glamorous appearance at the Academy Awards in a gold dress adorned with black houndstooth detailing.

The fitted silhouette has a deep neckline and a fitted waist.

She threw her blonde locks in a half-updo and added dangling dainty earrings to complete the look.

Mandi, a Toronto-based producer and journalist, also stood by Ryan’s side at the 2006 Gotham Awards and the 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

In July, she shared a video of the sibling on her Barbie red carpet Instagramshe wrote, “I always say I won the sibling lottery and this is just one of countless examples – they’re generally not that public!

‘Thank you Internet for all your kind words! There was so much joy and #kenergy at this event, I thought my whole heart would burst with how proud I am of what Ryan brings to the world and it’s so sweet how he shares the excitement of his world with me.”

Their mother was equally sophisticated in a chic black dress with a cut-out neckline and slit, paired with silver heels.

In an ode to Barbie – where her son’s achievements as Ken are celebrated – she clutched a bright pink clutch.

Elsewhere, Valerio looked dapper in a black suit and bow tie. Ryan, 43, channeled his Kenergy and went for a monochrome aesthetic in a simple blazer, shirt and pants, but added a pair of bright pink socks.

Meanwhile, his partner Eva Mendes showed her support ahead of his performance at the star-studded 2024 Oscars.

The 50-year-old actress shared a video on Instagram of her posing outside Ryan’s dressing room, although she opted to skip the red carpet.

“Always by my man,” the mother of two – who has been dating Ryan since they met on the set of their 2012 film The Place Beyond the Pines – captioned it.

In the video, Eva wore a denim look, including a distressed jacket and a button-up denim skirt. She completed the outfit with a black baseball cap and gold hoops.

Ryan is set to take the stage and perform the Oscar-nominated Barbie song “I’m Just Ken” at the 96th Academy Awards. He is also nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Barbie is in the running for an Oscar for Best Picture.

Eva also shared a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories and wrote in Spanish, “Siempre con mi hombre,” which means “Always by my husband.”

Meanwhile, Ryan looked handsome as ever in a black Gucci suit with silver detailing.

The actor walked the red carpet with his sister Mandi Gosling. Mandi wowed in a black and gold houndstooth dress.

In January, Eva defended Ryan over his Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor, following backlash from fans.

Eva posted a bubbly message to her Instagram, describing her pride and the ‘Not My Ken’ taunts he endured in the lead-up to Barbie’s release.

“So proud of my husband,” she said.

“So much hate when he took on this role. So many people are trying to shame him for doing this. Despite all the #Notmyken mockery and articles written about him, he created this completely original, hilarious, heartbreaking, now iconic character and took it all the way to the Oscars. I’m so proud to be Ken’s Barbie.’

Ryan was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role, but controversially, lead actor Margot and director Greta did not receive individual nods.

Ryan issued a statement expressing his anger that the Academy had overlooked his female colleagues, but failed to give up his nomination in protest.

He began his statement by expressing gratitude for his nomination, saying, “I am deeply honored to have been nominated by my peers alongside such remarkable artists in a year with so many great films.”

“And I never thought I’d say this, but I’m also incredibly honored and proud that it is for portraying a plastic doll named Ken.”

The actor then expressed his disappointment that Margot and Greta were not nominated, before praising them for their work on the film.

“Against all odds, with nothing but a few soulless, scantily clad and thankfully crotchless dolls, they made us laugh, broke our hearts, pushed the culture and made history,” he added.

Finally, he congratulated co-star America Ferrera, who received the Best Supporting Actress award.

“That said, I’m so happy for America Ferrera and the other incredible artists who contributed their talents to make this such a groundbreaking film,” Ryan said.

Barbie was released in July and grossed a record $1.45 billion at the global box office, and $636 million domestically.

The blockbuster received a total of eight Oscar nominations, although Greta failed to land a Best Director nomination this year, and Margot, who played the title character, was also passed over for Best Lead Actress.

The 96th Academy Awards honors the best films of 2023 – with a glittering ceremony at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

The most highly anticipated films of the past year – Barbie and Oppenheimer – lead the nominations.

Oppenheimer has scooped 13 awards, including best film and best actor for Cillian Murphy – who is favorite to win the main category after winning a BAFTA, Golden Globe and SAG award for his role as physicist J .Robert Oppenheimer.

The impressive total – which also includes best supporting actor and actress for Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt, as well as Best Director for Christopher Nolan – is just one nomination short of the all-time record set by Titanic in 1998.

Last year’s other big hit film, Barbie, was nominated for eight awards.

The 96th Academy Awards will be held on March 10 at 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT live on ABC, hosted for the fourth time by Jimmy Kimmel.

Meghan Markle was effortlessly elegant in a black, flowing maxi skirt – believed to be a custom Caroline Herrera design by fashion experts – as she and her husband jetted off to Jamaica for the premiere of the new Bob Marley film

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, oozed glamor in the monochrome ensemble on Tuesday evening, which she wanted to pair with a simple suit.

The strappy design showed off her toned shoulders and toned waist as the mother-of-two grinned for the cameras during Paramount's glitzy screening of the biopic at the Carib Theatre.

Meghan combined her sophisticated look with striking accessories, and is appreciated by royal viewers, among others Royal Fashion Police on Instagram, to have worn 18K gold earrings from Jennifer Meyer Jewelery, which cost $3,250 (approximately £2,558.37).

Elsewhere, the Duchess clutched her classic Jimmy Choo “J Box Clutch” (worth £750, or about $952.75) — one of her staples, which she has worn several times over the years.

She showed off her dewy skin with simple, understated makeup and styled her hair in a sleek bun.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry, 39, opted for a casual black suit and white shirt for the event.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex heads turned as they posed for photos and shook hands with actors last night.

Meghan and Harry – who stepped down from royal duties four years ago – also joined Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness and his wife Juliet at the premiere.

Holness has said his country is “moving away” from the British monarchy. Harry's father, King Charles, is currently head of state of Jamaica.

The process of severing ties with the British monarchy is underway, following in the footsteps of another former Caribbean possession, Barbados.

Similar to the island province's split from the monarchy, Prince Harry also revoked his HRH titles and sensationally moved from a working royal position in early 2020.

He moved to North America with his wife Meghan, whom he married in 2018.

Meghan and Harry now live in Montecito, California, with their two children, Archie and Lilibet. The Sussexes have made very few public and personal trips to Britain since leaving office.

The couple has had many ventures in the entertainment industry since their royal departure. They signed multimillion-dollar contracts with Netflix and Spotify to produce podcasts and docuseries in which they discussed their lives within the royal family.

Six months ago, they parted ways with their $20 million Spotify deal after producing Meghan's podcast series “Archetypes.”

On Tuesday night, Prince Harry was spotted on the red carpet hugging Ziggy Marley, the 55-year-old musician and son of Bob and Rita Marley, who produced One Love.

It's unclear why Harry and Meghan were there – although the film features British talent, with Londoners Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley and Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, and James Norton as producer Chris Blackwell.

The trip to Jamaica is not their first.

In 2017, before their November engagement, the couple attended the wedding of Harry's friend Tom 'Skippy' Inskip to Lara Hughes-Young.

And in 2012, Harry traveled to the island for his Diamond Jubilee tour of the Caribbean, where he danced to Marley's hit One Love with a large audience.

He also met the late musician's widow, Rita Marley, now 77.

Bob Marley died of cancer in 1981 at the age of 36.

And while they were soaking up the sun, Harry's father, King Charles, was getting ready for his surgery, and Kate Middleton was recovering.

The 75-year-old King was spotted driving near Sandringham in his electric Audi on Monday.

Charles, who was holding the wheel wearing thick green woolen gloves, was briefly spotted before returning to the main entrance of his Norfolk estate where he was greeted by a police officer.

Queen Camilla described the king as doing 'well' as she chatted to a member of the public during a visit Deacon and Sons, a 175 year old family jewelery shop in Swindon.

Local woman Jessie Jackson, 86, said she shook hands with the Queen and asked how Charles was doing.

Nicky Jackson, 48, who accompanied her, added: 'She asked how Charles was doing. He's fine. We forgot about poor Kate.'

Charles flew back to Sandringham from Scotland on Friday to prepare for his upcoming operation.

The monarch and his wife were flown more than 300 miles from Aberdeen Airport to RAF Marham on a Royal Air Force jet before completing the final 15 miles.

He was pictured sitting in the back seat of his Audi EV while being driven by a driver.

It comes at a difficult time for the royal family, with the Princess of Wales recovering in hospital from a planned abdominal operation and the Duchess of York revealing she has skin cancer this weekend.

The Princess of Wales is reportedly doing 'well' after going under the knife for abdominal surgery at the London Clinic near Regent's Park last week.

She will remain in the exclusive clinic for a maximum of fourteen days and is not expected to return to her official duties until after Easter.

Meanwhile, Sarah, 64, was diagnosed with malignant melanoma – an aggressive form of skin cancer – after several moles were removed during reconstructive surgery following her mastectomy in June.

One of them was diagnosed with cancer and is now undergoing further medical checks to ensure the cancer is detected at an early stage.

Kirsten Dunst gave a stylish presentation alongside her husband, Jesse Plemons, as they attended the star-studded 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards on Thursday.

The Bring It On star, 41 – who is set to appear in the A24 film Civil War with the Friday Night Lights alum, 35 – joined other celebrities at the glitzy event, including Margot Robbie and Emma Stone .

The mother-of-two looked stunning in a black dress which was held up with straps that wrapped around her shoulders and had a cut-out neckline at the front.

While pausing for a red carpet photo shoot, the beauty also showed off the backless portion of the ensemble that radiated a sultry glow.

The hem of the dress hid the shoes she had chosen to wear, falling behind Kirsten in a short train.

Her blonde locks were pulled back and styled in a half-updo, allowing the tresses to flow effortlessly down in elegant curls.

Dunst added a pair of silver mini earrings and a sparkling necklace to accessorize her look for the special evening.

The actress’ makeup was done classically and consisted of a coat of mascara on her eyelashes and a light, smoky shadow around her eyes.

A warm blush was added to enhance her cheekbones, while a glossy peach shade was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.

Kirsten was joined by her husband, Jesse Plemons, whom she tied the knot with in July 2022.

The actor was dressed to impress, wearing black trousers and a suit jacket that buttoned up the front.

Underneath he added a white shirt, as well as a black bow tie. To complete his ensemble, Plemons donned a pair of sleek black dress shoes.

The lovebirds – who share sons Ennis, five, and James, two – lovingly posed together for a series of snaps before heading to the main venue ahead of the ceremony.

Plemons most notably starred in Martin Scorsese’s Killers Of The Flower Moon and the film was honored with the Vanguard Award that evening.

In addition to Jesse, other stars who appeared in the Apple TV+ project included Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, Robert De Niro and Brendan Fraser.

The film was released on the streaming site in October 2023 and also premiered in theaters, grossing approximately $156 million at the box office.

According to a press release‘The Vanguard Award is a group award that recognizes the cast and director of a film in recognition of their collective work on an exceptional film project.’

“The award will be presented to Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese, Academy Award winner and executive producer Leonardo DiCaprio and Gotham Award nominee Lily Gladstone, all of whom will be in attendance.”

Festival chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi stated that the film is “a powerful and important film, not only for its cinematic poetry, but also as a complex story of the suspicious murders of members of the Osage Nation, a story that fully illustrates the evil of the Osage Nation . racism and corruption.’

“Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film features powerful ensemble performances from Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons and Tantoo Cardinal, making it the must-see film of the year.”

The film is also nominated for seven Golden Globes, including Best Picture – Drama, Best Director for Scorsese and Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for DiCaprio.

Both Dunst and Plemons will also appear on screen in the upcoming A24 film titled Civil War, which will be released later this year on April 26. The pair previously starred together in The Power Of The Dog (2021).

The basic principle follows, per IMDB: “Set in the near future, a team of journalists travels across the United States during a rapidly escalating civil war that engulfs the entire country.”

Cailee Spaeny and Nick Offerman were also cast in the project, which was directed by Alex Garland.

According to Variety, Despite previous reports, the film will be no longer than three hours and have a running time of 1 hour and 49 minutes.

Kevin Costner was spotted taking a stroll in snowy Aspen on Thursday amid his new romance with singer Jewel.

The Yellowstone star, 68, stayed warm in a black jacket, black scarf and light gray jeans for the outing.

The Academy Award winner – whose divorce from 49-year-old Christine Baumgartner was finalized in September – completed the look with a pair of tan cowboy boots.

The Dances with Wolves actor shielded his eyes with black sunglasses and held a cell phone in his hand as he walked.

At one point, the Hollywood leading man was pictured chatting with some male friends.

There was no sign of singer Jewel, who Costner was reportedly dating in recent weeks after finalizing a messy divorce.

Earlier this week, Costner was spotted leaving Santa Barbara for a pre-Christmas getaway.

He was pictured driving into a private airport in Santa Barbara in a dark Ford pickup with two large surfboards on the roof.

Rocking sunglasses, a black shirt, blue jeans and camel-colored cowboy boots, he arrived early Saturday morning on the tarmac where his sleek private jet had been waiting.

He exited the vehicle with two pieces of luggage and unloaded the surfboards before strolling to the plane with two male friends, who rode in separately.

They then flew out for what sources said was a two-day pre-Christmas vacation.

“He looked like one of those movie stars who got out of a big black truck and onto his private plane,” a woman at the scene on Saturday told DailyMail.com, as she looked at one of her screen idols. “Everyone said, ‘Oh, look!’

“The guy looks really good for his age, like a real cowboy in that monster truck and boots,” she said.

“He just looked happy and cheerful because he was able to go out with his friends for a few days.”

The local woman said the truck appeared to be brand new, and appeared to be a larger version of a truck. She said his 16-year-old son Cayden has been driving around Santa Barbara lately.

“It’s their new Christmas toy,” she said.

Earlier this month it was revealed that Costner and Jewel, 49, are dating after a photo emerged showing the pair getting very close on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands.

Costner and Baumgartner, his wife of 19 years, were engaged in a months-long legal war that only ended in September.

Kevin was blindsided when Christine filed for divorce in May.

Now that Costner has moved on, Christine said she “never would have imagined he and Jewel would be in a relationship, but in retrospect it makes sense,” friends told DailyMail.com earlier this month.

‘They both love music, that cowboy thing. What’s not to like about her? Jewel is certainly a down-to-earth person and has her own thing,” our source said.

‘Christine said the last thing she wanted was for some fame seeker to come along and play mother to their three children. But Jewel has a son of her own, she has her own life and is not a gold digger. So that’s a relief.’

Christine and Kevin share three children: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.

Jewel’s son Kase, 12, who she shares with her professional cowboy ex-husband Ty Murray, also appeared to be traveling to Branson’s luxurious island.

TMZ shared images showing Kevin’s arms around Jewel’s waist as she spoke into a microphone.

They seemed very flirty and were smiling from ear to ear while on the island for a tennis fundraiser for Jewel’s Inspiring Children Foundation.

A source told TMZ: ‘There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together it was like they both just lit up.

“You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anyone who saw them could tell something was going on.”

It was also reported that Jewel was “picky about who to date” but feels Kevin “qualifies” following her split from Murray in 2014.

Costner’s ex-wife says it’s “bittersweet” to see her Yellowstone actor ex dating just three months after their contentious divorce was finalized.

But Baumgartner thinks it could have been worse: telling a friend that the last thing she would want is some fame-seeking bimbo coming along to play mother to their kids.

“Christine said she wasn’t surprised Kevin moved on so quickly, but he didn’t have to make it so obvious by putting his arms around her,” a close friend told DailyMail.com.

The source added that Christine is relieved that Costner isn’t dating a “fame seeker” and that Jewel seems like a “down-to-earth person.”

“She said she’s happy for him, but it’s still not a good feeling to see your ex with someone new,” the friend said.

The divorce was finalized in September, with Costner ordered to pay $63,209 per month in child support.

Costner was preliminarily ordered to pay $129,755 per month during an initial hearing, although Baumgartner subsequently asked for $175,057 per month during a hearing in Santa Barbara in August.

A joint statement from Costner and Baumgartner to DailyMail.com read: ‘Kevin and Christine Costner have reached an amicable and mutually agreed resolution to all issues relating to their divorce proceedings.’
