Chelsea Handler told Kyle Sandilands to try Ozempic on Friday's The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

After Kyle, 52, talked about how his weight affects the size of his manhood, the American comedian and TV star, 48, suggested the drug used by many celebrities for weight loss.

“Why don't you just try some Ozempic so you can get a bigger penis?”

Kyle's co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson agreed: “I told him that, you should try it.”

Jackie, 49, has repeatedly denied that the drug is behind her own spectacular 18kg weight loss.

Ozempic, an appetite suppressant previously used to treat type II diabetes, has seen an increase in prescriptions for obesity in recent years.

It is now used by many celebrities to maintain a slim figure.

Jackie has always maintained that she achieved her weight loss by participating in WW (Weight Watchers), for which she was an official ambassador.

But speculation revived recently after WW, led by CEO Sima Sistani, began embracing semaglutide drugs like Ozempic.

Jackie responded to the news of The Kyle and Jackie O Show late last year, exclaiming, “Makes it seem like I was definitely on Ozempic!”

She jokingly added, “I was like a guinea pig in that experiment.”

News anchor Brooklyn Ross then asked Jackie if she was “annoyed” that she had to lose weight “the hard way” instead of just popping a semaglutide for a quick fix.

“I mean, they make a good point and I'm really impressed that they're moving with the times,” she said.

“You see so many people doing it and being successful, and for them it's not that hard.”

Chelsea Handler's opening monologue at the 29th annual Critics Choice Awards delivered the jokes — and ex-boyfriend Jo Koy wasn't spared after his recent Golden Globes drama.

Handler, 48, subtly poked fun at Koy, 52, when she opened the show at the Barker Hangar in Santa Barbara on Sunday, January 14. After cracking a joke that drew quite a few chuckles from the audience, Handler said, “Thanks for the laughs. on that. My writer wrote it.”

Koy specifically blamed his writers when he couldn't get a laugh during his Golden Globes monologue. “Some I wrote, some people wrote,” he said on the Jan. 7 show. “Yo, I got the gig 10 days ago. Do you want a perfect monologue? Quiet! You're kidding, right? I've written a few, and they make you laugh.'

The comic later said he regretted blaming it. “There are a lot of greats who make rookie moves, and that was a rookie move,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “Those writers are dope, and that was not my intention at all. They were great, they had my back, and I have to make sure I fix that, and I always will.

Handler and Koy dated for a year between September 2021 and June 2022.

Comedians in love? Chelsea Handler knew Jo Koy for almost two decades before they started dating, but their romance happened just in time. During an October 2021 episode of her podcast “Dear Chelsea,” Handler admitted that she may have had feelings for Koy when he was a regular guest on her late night talk show, Chelsea. […]

“It is with a heavy heart to announce that we have decided together that it is best for us to take a break from our relationship at this time,” Handler wrote via Instagram a month later, in July 2022. in our love, and I wanted to let you know how much that meant to both of us. How much it still means. And how much I now believe in love for each of us.”

Weeks later, Handler went on the “We Can Do Hard Things With Glenn Doyle” podcast and said they had reached a crossroads in their relationship.

“I love him, and he's on his own path. If I have to choose one person, I have to choose myself,” she explained. “Nobody cheated or anything like that. It just didn't work. I did everything I could to make it happen, but it didn't work. I wanted to make sure everyone knew that this is a different me. This is the first time I've ended a relationship where I felt like an adult.”

While both comedians eventually moved on, they each landed gigs this awards season. While Handler was back at the Critics Choice Awards for the second consecutive year on Sunday, Koy hosted the Golden Globes for the first time on January 7.

“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? We have less camera footage of Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes. I swear,” Koy joked, referring to Swift, 34, who regularly visited her boyfriend Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs games. “There's just more to go to.”

Swift seemed irritated by the jab as she took a sip of her drink. Koy told me later Entertainment tonight that he found the mention “cute,” adding, “I just said it's less cutaways, that's all.”

Koy did receive some support from other TV personalities.

Barbie’s Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig accepted Best Comedy after host Chelsea Handler demanded on-air moment at the Critics Choice Awards while Paul Giamatti landed a shock win over Cillian Murphy on a night where Emma Stone, Oppenheimer, and Succession all triumphed.

Blockbuster film Barbie – which earned $1.4billion in the worldwide box office last year – won the top honor when it comes to comedy films but it was not scheduled to appear on the broadcast and instead was announced during a vignette before breaking off into commercial.

Chelsea, 48, did not stand for the film not being recognized during the televised portion as she went rogue after a return from break.

The host announced: ‘Earlier tonight Barbie was awarded best comedy. I’ll go rogue because Greta and Margot deserve to make a speech. Would you mind coming up and accepting the award for Best Comedy.’

Margot, 33, and 40-year-old filmmaker Greta quickly got up and walked up to the stage to accept the crowning achievement with impromptu speeches.

The Wolf Of Wall Street actress said: ‘Thank you. Thank you, Chelsea. We love you so much. You know, when everyone is like oh, this is so unexpected. This is actually unexpected and not apart of the show. We are very grateful and I’d like Greta to talk.’

Emma Stone triumphed as she earned Best Actress for Poor Things.

The 35-year-old actress – who also triumphed at the Golden Globe Awards last week – was in disbelief as she won over a very stacked category which included the likes of Lily Gladstone – Killers Of The Flower Moon, Sandra Hüller – Anatomy of a Fall, Greta Lee – Past Lives, Carey Mulligan – Maestro, Margot Robbie – Barbie.

She recognized each of her competitors individually during the beginning of her acceptance speech as she said: ‘Um, I’ll be honest. I’m in full blown I didn’t have anything that I was going to say because this is completely crazy. This category is ridiculous. Lily, I mean, come on. Margot. What in the Carey. Okay. Greta and Sandra Huller. This doesn’t make any sense.

‘Thank you so much for this. It means to such. I was being serious. I don’t know what to say. This table here is poor things table. This crew, this cast, mark, Chris, Katherine hunter, Hannah. There are so many unbelievable people I was lucky enough to work with and searchlight and Ed and Tony. That’s how we are supposed to say it to a Greek man if we are speaking to them. I love you. Thank you for everything. This is, uh, really wild.’

In Poor Things she portrays Bella Baxter/Victoria Blessington who is a woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist, Dr. Godwin Baxter (played by Willem Dafoe).

She gushed about portraying the character as she concluded her speech saying: ‘Playing Bella was one of the greatest joys. I got to unlearn some of the things. The shame and societal stuff that’s put-on us. I’m state working on it. This is the critics choice award and it is about outside opinion.

‘I’m very grateful to the critics for this. I’m learning not to care what you think. Thank you so much. It means a lot. Thank you.’

Succession siblings Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin may not have succeeded their onscreen father Logan Roy but they did each get their coronation at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night.

The 36-year-old Australian actress and  41-year-old American actor won Best Actress and Actor in a Drama Series for their highly popular HBO series.

Sarah beat out stiff competition including Jennifer Aniston – The Morning Show (Apple TV+), Aunjanue Ellis – Justified: City Primeval (FX), Bella Ramsey – The Last of Us (HBO | Max), Keri Russell – The Diplomat (Netflix), and Reese Witherspoon – The Morning Show (Apple TV+).

During her speech she thanked both her onscreen sibling Kieran as well as onscreen husband played by Matthew Macfadyen and her real-life husband Dave Lawson.

She said:  ‘Hi. Thank you. Thank you to the critics, wow. This job was extraordinary and exciting to go into work everyday and play dress up for a living. What a silly thrill that is.

‘It’s on the side ear and my wife surprises me by plucking it and Sarah snook discovered it and pulls it too. She said it’s back. I was feeling it and thought it was on this side. My wife was, no, no, no it’s there. They both started taking turns plucking my hair and it was painful and now I’m talking about it instead of saying what I prepared to say which is gone now. I’m probably out of time.’

He then went into a more serious portion of his acceptance speech.

He said: ‘There are too many people to thank. There is a group I’d like to thank because they will never appreciated and that’s the camera department. In particular the camera operators. They film the thing, you know. It’s really crucial. It was through them. I’d like to give a thanks to Greg, Allen, Francis, Rachel.

‘If I forgot someone, sorry. You are lovely. Stop looking at me Nick. My mom, my wife, I love you so much. You are the reason I’m me and our kids. I love you. Bye.’

Chelsea Handler roasted ex-boyfriend Jo Koy during her very raunchy opener at the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards, held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Sunday.

The comedian, 48, was the host of the star-studded ceremony, and took the chance to take a jab at her ex, 52, following his recent Golden Globes flop.

After she got the audience laughing by saying she would ‘toss’ legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese, 81, like ‘a little Italian meatball’ she quipped, ‘thank you for laughing at that. My writers wrote it.’

It was a pointed remark at Koy, who notoriously blamed his writers onstage after failing to get laughs from the Golden Globes audience, saying, ‘I wrote some of these and they’re the ones you’re laughing at.’

During her opener Handler also joked about Saltburn star Barry Keoghan’s manhood and referenced Meg Ryan’s famous orgasm scene from When Harry Met Sally.

At one point in her opener, she stated: ‘And now, it’s time to talk about the horniest movie of the year Saltburn’ as the camera panned to Keoghan.

‘There he is. Barry Keoghan was horny for men, women, bath water, and cemeteries.’

‘Featuring men in various states of undress. Most male actors use prosthetics, so thank you, Barry, for keeping it real, and please thank your penis for its service,’ she added.

She then praised Barbie star Margot Robbie: ‘By the way, Margot Robbie produced Saltburn, so you’re a dirty Barbie, and I like it. Which means Margot is responsible for not one, but two spirited dance numbers this year.’

Chelsea joked that ‘2023 was one of the horniest years for movies and TV. Everybody was horny for everything. Ali Wong was horny in Beef, Rachel Sennott was horny in Bottoms, Leonardo Dicaprio and Robert De Niro were horny for land, Cillian Murphy was horny for uranium, and 2023 was the year that everyone became horny for Pedro Pascal.’

‘And, of course, in Poor Things, Emma Stone was horny for an apple and pretty much anything else that came her way.’

That brought Chelsea to Meg Ryan’s famous scene from the 1989 rom-com classic, as she quipped: ‘That movie had so many on-screen orgasms even Meg Ryan was like, take it down a notch, girl. You’re not in a deli.’

The camera then panned to Meg who was pictured laughing.

Chelsea later addressed Harrison Ford, 81, and Robert De Niro, 80, while talking about her preference for older men.

‘The casts of May/December and Killers of the Flower Moon are here. This is where most comedians would make some sort of May/December joke about Leonardo Dicaprio’s dating preferences, but I’m not going to do that. I actually have the same affliction as you, but in the opposite direction.’

‘I prefer my men old and hot men who have been alive since the railway was invented. Speaking of which, Robert Deniro and Harrison Ford are here. I’m looking at the two of you.’

‘I don’t know which one of you is more of a smokeshow, but you both have been so hot for decades and just keep getting hotter. It’s enough already.’

‘I know you’re both spoken for, so I’m not hitting on you. But I am hitting on you,’ she added, while Harrison’s wife Calista Flockhart, 59, laughed.

She also addressed Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy calling him ‘atomic-bomb Ken.’

‘I don’t want to reduce anyone’s work here tonight to their sex appeal, but I see you over there, you peaky little blinder. I know you’re not old, but you will be someday, and I’ll be waiting.’

Later she kept the laughs coming by turning to Bradley Cooper as she congratulated him for doing an amazing job of Leonard Bernstein in Maestro.

‘Bradley spent 6 years preparing for this role, learning to conduct. I’m not sure what he’s doing over there tonight, but I guess we’ll find out in 2030,’ she joked.

Chelsea started out her monologue telling the audience: ‘Tonight, we’re here to celebrate all the brilliant movies and TV shows in 2023 that didn’t get shelved for a tax write-off.’

She went on: ‘We’ve all been through a lot this year and I don’t intend to put you through more, so think of me as your good time doula. There’s a party growing inside of you and I’m here to help you birth it.’

She then referenced the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strikes, telling the audience: ‘Of course, nobody had a harder time this year than studio executives who were forced to vacation for six consecutive months in a row. But the strikes are over and we are back and better than ever.’

Chelsea inspired a positive social media reaction from fans, with one writing: 'Chelsea Handler has done the monologue that Jo Koy should have done at the Golden Globes'

Chelsea went on to proclaim that ‘this was a huge year for women’ while poking fun of Gwyneth Paltrow.

‘Women were victorious in all venues Barbie at the box office, Taylor Swift and Beyonce on their tours, Gwyneth Paltrow in that ski trial.’

‘This year proved that when given the opportunity, women show up for each other and dominate the culture. You could almost say it was the year of women. I mean, women can say that. Bill Maher would say, is she still talking?’

She then poked fun of presidential candidate Ron DeSantis while praising the Barbie movie: ‘Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie worked tirelessly to bring their vision of Barbie to the big screen. And has anyone ever looked better and more powerful in high heels than Margo Robbie? I mean, besides Ron DeSantis.’

Handler credited Gerwig for becoming ‘the highest-grossing female director of all time, pulling in over $1.4 billion at the box office’ for Barbie, and ‘saving the entire movie industry.’

‘Which can only mean one thing Hollywood executives are currently debating whether Greta’s worth taking a second chance on,’ she joked.

Chelsea wrapped up her monologue by introducing Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo, as she joked that they had names she would ‘love to see John Travolta try to say’ after he infamously mispronounced Idina Menzel’s name at the 2014 Oscars.

Chelsea inspired a positive social media reaction from fans, with one writing: ‘Chelsea Handler has done the monologue that Jo Koy should have done at the Golden Globes.’

‘All I wanted to see tonight was a subtle diss at Jo Koy and Chelsea delivered in the first 10 minutes.’

The praise comes after her ex was labeled ‘the worst host ever’ at the 2024 Golden Globes as social media blasted him over his dreadful monologue.

‘Yo, I got the gig 10 days ago, you want a perfect monologue? Yo, shut up,’ Koy said onstage.

‘Slow down, I wrote some of these and they’re the one you’re laughing at,’ he went on as much of the audience resorted to pity laughs.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to get your airplane luggage from A to B in one piece?

Well, according to a baggage handler, hard work goes on behind the scenes, with a very early start, lots of walking and cold temperatures being some of the efforts.

Rachel Bacha of Idaho works for Delta Air Lines as a ramp agent – also known as a baggage handler – and in a series of TikToks she reveals what her typical days look like, including the 2:35 a.m. start.

Some of her days can be 14 hours long, but most of the time she works between 4am and 12am.

Rachel has been a disaster cop for four years and her workload has gradually increased

In a video, she explains that after waking up at 4 a.m. for four years, she learned some techniques to make sure she doesn’t fall asleep again.

First, she says, “When I hear my alarm clock, I get out of bed. I don’t hit snooze once. It sucks now, but it’s gonna suck in five minutes.”

Another of her crafty tricks is to always have something to look forward to.

This might include trying a new coffee pod or rustling up her favorite breakfast, which consists of sliced banana and peanut butter on toast, sprinkled with cinnamon.

‘[It’s] just little, simple things, so when you wake up you have something to look forward to,” explains Rachel.

After leaving home, the avid traveler usually goes to work at 3:50 am.

Once she puts on a safety vest, she goes to work in the baggage area, where “all the bags go after you check them in for your flight.”

In the baggage area, there is a conveyor belt that the baggage passes through, with ramp agents loading it onto small trucks or carts.

Before the luggage arrives, Rachel says she’s getting the carts ready and in position.

She also checks the computer ‘to see how many passengers there are, because then I can properly estimate how many bags I can expect’.

Once all the carts are full – usually about 35 minutes until departure – someone will come to the baggage area to remove the baggage carts.

Other tasks she performs as part of her job include de-icing the planes, shunting the plane and pushing back the planes

However, she adds that the early start and the physical nature of the track have left her “pretty exhausted.”

When she has time, Rachel says she’ll take the carts out to load the plane and then get ready for the next flight.

She muses, “For the most part, there’s a fairly steady stream of bags coming onto the belt.

“From 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., I can expect anywhere from 200 to 250 bags, depending on whether it’s a heavy travel day or not.”

In addition to standard suitcases, Rachel must ensure that oversized luggage including bicycles, strollers, surfboards, walking sticks [and] golf bags’ are carefully transferred to the correct aircraft.

From about 6:30am to 9:30am she says “there are only two small flights going out so it’s a bit slower in the bag room.”

During this time, she works on her crochet project and gets her snacks and breakfast from the break room.

After a pause, she will get her carts ready for the next flights and then “pretty much from here for the rest of the day, it’s pretty busy in the bag room.”

Rachel reveals that she usually clocks 15,000 to 16,000 steps per shift in the luggage compartment.

Other tasks she performs as part of her job include de-icing the planes, shunting the plane, and pushing the planes back.

Although Rachel says disaster agent shifts seem long, “they actually go by so quickly.”

However, she adds that they still leave her “pretty exhausted.”
