Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach has revealed she still talks to her professional dance partner Vito Coppola every day.

The pair took home the coveted glitter ball in December and went on tour across the country with the rest of the 2023 line-up.

Ellie has now returned to acting and appears on stage in the production of Cluedo 2.

The former Coronation Street star, 23, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday and revealed she is in touch with Vito, 31, every day, even though their Strictly journey has come to an end.

Ellie also laughed off the idea that they were ever more than friends after host Ed Balls said: “We all thought there was a love interest?”

“I think when you dance with someone you’re together pretty much 24/7 and we’re just the best of friends. I’m so lucky to have him as my dance partner. We just really understood each other,” Ellie said.

‘He was even more emotional than me, especially during the final. I thought, ‘You’re spending too much time with me now.’

Susanna Reid asked, “Is it true that you speak to Vito every day?”, to which Ellie replied, “Yes, I have spoken to Vito every day since September.”

Ellie also revealed that she keeps the glitter ball in the kitchen of her parents’ home, while her dad takes a selfie with it whenever anyone comes over.

The actress revealed her romance with EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier, 20, earlier this month, which began during the live Strictly tour, and has now moved to London.

Last week, Ellie hit back at trolls asking ‘where is Vito Coppola’ on her social media, amid her blossoming romance with Bobby.

The actress shared a sweet selfie with Bobby after he saw her make her stage debut in Cluedo 2 at the Richmond Theater last week.

But some of Ellie’s fans didn’t seem to support her new romance with Bobby, as some asked: “Where’s Vito?” under the Instagram post.

Ellie hit back by sharing a photo of Vito on her page and saying: ‘I love this man very much. Men and women can be friends and love each other as FRIENDS…just say x’

The Coronation Street actress added: ‘@vitocoppola you have the cutest face.’

It comes after it was revealed Ellie has ‘moved to London’ amid her blossoming new relationship.

The former Coronation Street actress lives in the capital where Bobby lives with his father after rekindling a romance during the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.

Ellie’s cousin, actress Brooke Vincent, said she plans to meet her in London on Thursday during an appearance on This Morning.

She said: ‘I’m seeing her tonight and she’s moved to London.’

Brooke added: “I could never do Strictly again since she won, she did a great job. You get tired of saying how proud you are.”

AN Amazon shopper has taken to Reddit to complain about a recent order.

The customer claims he was scammed when he bought what he thought was a new iPhone.

A photo and explanation of the scam were posted on the popular Reddit forum r/amazonprime.

The forum has 120,000 members and is intended for sharing advice and problems.

“Bought iPhone, got bike lights,” one message warned.

The post even includes a photo of the bicycle lights the customer received.

“So many horror stories with Amazon lately. It finally happened to me, I think,” the Redditor continued.

They also shared a screenshot of their Amazon order, which showed the iPhone they wanted.

“Oh boy and I ordered a MacBook last week, it also took a while for them to actually ship it.

“Was your order directly from Amazon or from a third-party seller?” someone asked.

“Straight from Amazon. I recorded the unboxing so I have proof that I received the wrong item. Hopefully I don’t have to use the video,” the first poster replied.

“Always buy phones in person, never online. My local Verizon store regularly has good deals on brand new phones,” someone else wrote.

“I once received an empty box from US Cellular. They made me file a police report before they would issue a new iPhone.

“You couldn’t even tell the box had been tampered with,” another person warned.

To stay safe, always read the comments and reviews before purchasing from an Amazon seller.

Check the price of the item and whether it is dramatically above or below the usual asking price.

Also check the name of the seller and whether it is legitimate.

It’s worth making bulk purchases of name brand items.

I have been sharing recipes on YouTube for over two years, as a foodie and influencer Marko Savic knows his way around a kitchen.

While he usually serves seasonal menus for his 7,000 followers to try, the chef took a break from his regular videos to share this handy tip.

According to the culinary expert, you can clean the oven door with little effort using baking soda and a damp sponge.

He said, “Sprinkle baking soda on the glass door of your oven and turn the powder into a paste with a clean, wet sponge.”

Rather than wiping this away straight away, Marko suggests letting the paste sit for a few minutes as this will help you remove the worst of the stains.

He added: “After five minutes you should be able to remove most of the dirt with a quick scrub.”

Baking soda acts as a mild abrasive, and you can add more to stubborn areas if they don’t come clean right away.

Once you’re done, simply wipe away any remaining baking soda with a clean, damp cloth (yes, it’s that easy).

Even better, this hack costs less than £1, as Sainsbury’s currently has a jar of baking soda for just 59p.

Unsurprisingly, his fans loved the cleaning hack and many even tried it out for themselves.

“I should have taken before and after pictures! This worked like a charm! Thank you,” says an impressed viewer.

Another fan also tried out the method and revealed that their oven required a little more scrubbing than washing, as shown in the video.

“After two applications of baking soda, two applications of Googone, and a lot of scrubbing, my oven door is looking pretty good,” they noted.

“Be careful it takes quite a bit of scrubbing,” she added.

For those still struggling to get their kitchen appliance spick and span again, it’s worth knowing that most ovens allow you to remove the glass panels.

To do this, you need to unscrew the panel from the door and carefully lift the glass out. Be careful not to damage it as these panels are expensive to replace.

If you’re not sure how to do this, it’s worth checking the manufacturer’s guide before you start, especially if you want to clean between coats.

Hopefully these tips and tricks will have your oven sparkling in no time.

EPIC Games just announced that thousands of Fortnite players are eligible for refunds.

Those who purchased certain emotes in the Fortnite in-game Item Shop can get their money back.

Fortnite has added two emotes to the platform two years in a row, called Side Shuffle and Jubi Slide.

Players noticed that the emotes were extremely similar, with the main difference being the music playing in the background.

Users complained about the similarity of the two emotes, calling it a new kind of “reskin.”

Epic Games has listened to the complaints and says it will issue a refund of 400 V-bucks to all users who purchased both emotes.

This is roughly the equivalent of £4/$5, so it’s quite a bit of money that players have missed out on.

The Jubi Slide, the newer emote added to the store, was removed just a few hours after release after complaints about the similarities.

It appears that the Jubi Slide will not be re-released as a standalone emote, although Epic Games has not announced this.

However, Epic Games has revealed that a new bundle will be released containing both emotes in a two-for-one style deal.

The pack, which sells for 600 V-Bucks in the Item Shop, includes both Side Shuffle and Jubi Slide.

If you purchased both emotes separately, you don’t need to do anything if you want to receive a refund.

You should receive your 400 V-Bucks the next time you log into Fortnite, although you’ll still keep both emotes.

But flowers often don’t last long, especially if you get a bunch of tulips.

However, one flower expert has revealed a clever hack to make them last even longer – and you’ll probably have everything you need in the kitchen cupboard.

“Tulips are a Mother’s Day must-have and are extremely popular all spring long,” says Alex Biggart, Brand Manager at 123 Flowers.

“It can be difficult to maintain their vibrancy, but our tips and tricks should ensure tulips last for a few weeks after Mother’s Day.”

First, Alex suggests using a toothpick.

“Take a toothpick to make a small hole under the flour,” he explained.

“This allows air to escape as the flower drinks water so they don’t hang up.”

You should also change the water in the vase every two to three days.

And to give the flowers an extra boost, add ice cubes and a teaspoon of sugar to the water.

“Tulips thrive in cold water and sugar provides much-needed nutrients,” says Alex.

If you put the tulips in water, be sure to “use a knife to cut the stems diagonally at a 45-degree angle to maximize the surface area to absorb water.”

“You should also remove any leaves below the waterline as these will die and allow bacteria to build up,” Alex added.

If you see any soggy stems, you can carefully cut off the bottoms. Keep a close eye on them and check them every few days.

And don’t be tempted to overfill the vase.

“A few inches of water is usually fine for tulips so they don’t drink too much,” he said.

Positioning is also important: keep the vase away from heating appliances and do not press it against the window.

“These steps can help you get the most out of your beautiful bouquet of tulips and enjoy them for longer,” concludes Alex.

A woman living on an island near the North Pole has revealed the hugely complicated process of getting furniture delivered to her remote town.

Swedish videographer Cecilia Blomdahl, 34, first moved to the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen in 2016.

The region has fewer than 3,000 inhabitants and is located in the Arctic Ocean, about 1,000 kilometers from the North Pole.

The creator, who has amassed more than four million followers on TikTok and Instagram combined by documenting life on Svalbard, recently shared a video detailing how new furniture is shipped to the local port.

Cecilia wanted to expand her home office in the cabin she shares with her husband, she explained in an Instagram caption.

‘Since we don’t have a furniture store on Spitsbergen, every time you furnish a house or want to buy new stuff, you have to have it transported by ship.

‘In itself this is not the most difficult process to organize, but it is a bit expensive, which is why we don’t do it that often.

“We ordered this via the IKEA website, with the delivery location being the boat terminal in Tromsø, in the north of Norway,” she explained.

From there she had to ensure that the furniture was transferred to the boat that sails between Tromsø and Spitsbergen, with a distance of around 900 kilometers between the two ports.

Total shipping came to about $500.

“Which I still don’t think is a bad thing considering where we are now,” Cecilia admitted.

She added that they placed the order on January 30 and received it in late February.

But transporting the furniture from the Spitsbergen harbor to their cabin presented another hurdle.

It is not legal to drive on the island’s ‘tundra’ unless it is ‘snow-covered’. In that case, snowmobiles are allowed.

With no driveway leading to the cottage from the road, they had to load all the new furniture onto a snowmobile to get it to their front door.

Once there, they unloaded it from the snowmobile and carried it to their house, weathering a snowstorm.

In the past, DailyMail.com has discussed how Cecilia copes with the intense winters in Svalbard.

Being so close to the North Pole, the island experiences four months of complete darkness every year, in addition to the bitter cold that prevails all year round.

In 2020, she opened up about the incredibly complicated process of taking her dog for an afternoon walk, describing how the simple task becomes an “expedition” as a result of the dangerous environment she lives in.

In addition to wrapping herself in several warm layers and using a headlamp to light her way in the pitch black, Cecilia revealed that she always has to carry a gun with her when she goes outside because there is always a risk that she might encounters a polar bear.

“Walking your dog is an expedition,” Cecilia said in the introduction to her video.

“It’s starting to get really cold here and it’s pitch black 24 hours a day,” she continued, explaining that she had to put on a lot of clothes, including thermals, expedition pants and a down jacket, as well as a hat and scarf. .

‘And that is of course not enough. We have polar bears here, so we always have to take a gun with us when we’re outside,” she said, showing herself strapping on the gun.

She has also previously described the very complex process pregnant women have to go through to prepare for birth – which is not possible on the island itself due to the lack of medical resources.

The island has only one hospital, which Cecilia says is not suitable for deliveries. So expectant mothers have to pack up and fly somewhere else before giving birth.

She noted that pregnant women have to travel to mainland Norway to welcome their newborns, often weeks in advance.

‘You can’t give birth here. If you are pregnant and have a baby, you have to leave the island a month before your due date because you cannot give birth in this hospital,” Cecilia explains in the video.

‘They don’t have the right resources to help you if something happens. Pregnant women therefore leave for the mainland a month before their due date.

‘Where they go is their business, but as a resident of Svalbard you have to have an address on the mainland, so most people just go to their home country.

“If you come from Norway, you go back to Norway and if you come from Sweden, you probably go back to Sweden.”
