The baby boy from Brazil is shown to have an extraordinary amount of hair on his body, leading one viewer to claim he “looks 35.”

Although Joao is otherwise relatively normal and can do normal baby things, the TikTok account has amassed more than 100,000 followers.

There is also a YouTube channel, but it only has three videos and 36 subscribers, which was launched last month.

However, the names of Joao's parents remain unknown.

Nevertheless, the child's thick brown hair, covering him from head to toe, has piqued people's curiosity to the point that they keep coming back for more content.

Joao's huge eyebrows and bushy facial hair give him the appearance of a man trapped in a child's body.

But it's the beard that has attracted the most attention from the toddler, with hundreds – and sometimes thousands – of people flocking to the comments sections to spare their thoughts.

On one post, a user wrote: “He has a better beard than most men.”

A second person joked: “Miguel drove mom home from the hospital after he was born.”

Another commented, “Miguel can walk out of the liquor store with a 12-pack, no questions asked.”

In another video of him drinking from a bottle, users asked if he was actually drinking tequila.

But the real reason behind Joao's excessive hair growth all over his body is yet to be made public.

Regardless, many on social media have come up with their own theories.

According to experts, the official name for very furry babies is Lanugo.

Pediatrician Beverly Kupfert told us Today's parent that you have nothing to worry about if your baby experiences excessive hair growth.

She said: “If your baby is born with lanugo, it will go away within a few days or weeks.

“That said, if it lingers a little longer, that's normal too.

“In some cultures, body hair is more common and may persist beyond the first few months of life.”

Matty Edgell was crowned the winner of the Great British bake-off in Tuesday night’s final episode after beating fellow finalists Dan and Josh for the award.

The handsome gym teacher, 28, from Cambridgeshire, impressed the judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith to take away the crown.

Matty had an incredible rise in the series after calling himself the ‘official underdog’ of the contestants in the tent until the end.

He won a legion of female fans as the weeks went by and presenter Alison Hammond couldn’t resist a cheeky flirt with him as he checked in on his bakes.

During his time on the show he was supported by his fiancée Lara, who he confirmed his engagement to after the win.

Matty revealed he proposed during a trip to Sorrento in Italy and said it was one of the “happiest moments of his life.”

So here’s MailOnline looking at who Matty is and his rise to fame on the show:

Who is Matty Edgell?

Matty is a 28-year-old PE and science teacher at Hampton College from Cambridgeshire, who starred in the 2023 series Bake Off.

The star first started baking as a child after being impressed by a teddy bear cake his grandmother made for him for his fourth birthday.

He has previously said he aims to be on par with his grandmother’s legendary bakes, including the South Pole-inspired cake she made for him at Christmas.

He describes his baking style as rustic but clean, and his taste preferences as quite traditional, particularly liking chocolate, citrus and nuts.

Matty said his students were ‘impressed’ by his baking skills when the competition was broadcast on Channel 4.

“The students at school were a bit impressed that I was in the series and I got really nice reactions at school,” he told Channel 4.

“I know they’ll think it’s cool that I won, but at the same time they’ll be really surprised.

“They have invested in me throughout the series, so there will be a sense of pride when they all share the victory with me.”

Underdog at the start

During the series, Matty referred to himself as ‘the official underdog’ as many of his fellow contestants had comparatively more baking experience.

Matty said he didn’t think he was ‘good enough’ to take part in the series so he postponed his application.

But eventually, after some encouragement from his fiancée, he gained confidence in his own baking talents after first learning from his grandmother during his childhood.

He repeated the “underdog” rhetoric in his exit interview.

He said: ‘Without a doubt I was the official underdog throughout the series.

‘So I think everyone was surprised when I made it to the final and won, including me!’

He watched the final at home with Lara and his friends and family while tucking into cake.

During the series, many fans hinted that Alison Hammond may have had a crush on Matty.

The presenter enjoyed weeks of flirting on the Channel 4 cooking show, with some onlookers speculating she was ‘in love’ with the teacher.

Alison, who has been single since splitting from landscaper Ben Hawkins earlier this year, said those watching at home were so impressed with him that they compared Bake Off to a dating show.

“Alison and Matty are in love and I can’t blame them,” said one viewer, while another wrote: “Alison coming to see Matty is better than any dating show we’ve ever seen.”

Meanwhile, a fan joked that the This Morning host, 48, and Matty had a future together, saying: “If they do the ‘What the contestants have been up to’ segment I hope Matty and Alison have run away and opened a patisserie in the south of France.’

Alison’s flirtation with Matty had become a talking point not only for the viewers, but also for those who worked on the show.

An insider said: ‘When it was recorded earlier this year we all knew the chemistry was going to be something.’

Alison wasn’t the only one who admired Matty; the show’s fans were also in love.

One wrote: ‘Sexy Matty has the best sausage rolls… Matty’s sausage wins.’

Matty revealed he is engaged to his girlfriend Lara after being crowned champion in the final.

The news was shared just after the teacher overcame competition from Josh and Dan to win Tuesday night’s Channel 4 series.

Following the announcement that Matty had won, The Great British Bake Off’s X account (formerly Twitter) shared a message congratulating Matty and Lara on their engagement.

The message read: ‘A big congratulations from all of us at Bake Off to Matty and Lara on their engagement!’

In the photo, Lara showed off her stunning dazzling ring as he hugged her and planted a sweet kiss on her cheek.

The star has yet to share the announcement on his own Instagram.

Matty previously shared that Lara was the one who signed him up for the competition.

After Matty was declared the winner, he said: ‘I don’t know what to say… everyone said you should go to Bake Off and I thought it was a throwaway comment and never really listened to it. I never thought I’d be on the show, let alone win it!’

He added kindly, quoting Lara: ‘I hope GBBO will maybe change my life just a little bit, but being a PE teacher is something I’m really enjoying at the moment.

‘I loved being in the tent and another of my happiest life moments was when I got engaged to my fiancée Lara in Sorrento.

‘I’m not sure what’s next for me, but my next big baking project is making our wedding cake. I just keep enjoying it.’

King Charles looked emotional after he and Camilla today unveiled the statues of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip ahead of the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance in London.

The life-size bronze works, commemorating the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh’s dedication to the Royal Albert Hall, were erected as part of the building’s 150th anniversary.

Charles, 74, was accompanied by Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.

The king unveiled the statue of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, and Camilla unveiled the statue of Prince Philip.

They arrived at the historic concert hall in London where they unveiled the statues ahead of the annual commemoration ceremony.

Works of art by Queen Victoria and her husband, Prince Albert, were also unveiled at the Royal Albert Hall this week.

The sculptures, created by artist Poppy Field, ‘complete’ the building by filling the niches of the north veranda, which have been empty since 1871, and the south veranda, which was added in 2003.

The commission for the sculptures was awarded following a competition involving a shortlist of seven sculptors, supported by the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST), a charity supporting excellence in British craftsmanship.

Ian McCulloch, President of the Royal Albert Hall, said: “It is particularly fitting that our landmark building marks the contribution to our history of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, who dedicatedly supported and attended the Hall for this purpose. many decades.’

The event commemorates the service and sacrifice of service members and marks 80 years since the Battle of the Atlantic and the 70th anniversary of the Korean War.

In tribute to the 75th anniversary of the arrival of HMT Empire Windrush, this year’s festival will also honor the contribution of the Windrush generation to the military.

The king, 74, was pictured wearing a black blazer, white shirt, patterned tie and a poppy on his chest, as a sign of respect for those who served the country.

On Sunday, Charles will lead the nation in remembrance at the Cenotaph, after a day of violent clashes in central London between counter-protesters and police – who tried to stop them from interfering with a major pro-Palestinian march.

The Met Police said dozens of people were arrested on Saturday, including 82 in an incident in Tachbrook Street, Pimlico, when a ‘large group’ of counter-protesters tried to reach the march.

Counter-protesters had previously clashed with police near the Cenotaph, ahead of an Armistice Day service.

Clashes broke out when police tried to stop a crowd of people carrying St George’s flags and marching along the Embankment towards Whitehall, where the cenotaph is located, shortly after 10am.

The group, who had sung ‘England until I die’, pushed through the police barrier, with some shouting ‘let’s have them’ as officers struck with batons.

Further clashes with police took place in Chinatown, with counter-protesters chanting at officers: ‘You’re not English anymore’.

“Cute,” “precious,” and “beautiful” are just three of the compliments adoring online fans have given a 12-year-old crossbreed dog with funny features.

Mugsy has an impressive underbite and owner Carly Tannura, 22, of New Jersey, loves to show him off.

Mugsy never had an underbite or protruding teeth as a puppy, it wasn’t until he became one that he grew into his features, and Carly loves him just the way he is.

She explained, “He’s just grown into his features this way, he’s pretty much always looked like this, except when he was a puppy.”

“When we got him he was a beautiful six week old puppy and we had no idea what he would look like when he grew up.

Mugsy, a 12-year-old crossbreed dog with an impressive underbite, has thousands of adoring fans online thanks to his owner’s TikTok posts

When he developed the underbite, we thought he looked super funny and was still adorable – everyone who saw him thought he was hilarious.

“His dad was a puggle, but we’re not sure what his mom was.

“I’ve received so much love and kind words from people who have seen Mugsy’s TikToks! It makes my day to read comments – especially when people say that Mugsy’s videos bring them joy.

The fighters who claimed responsibility for a rare attack just across the Ukrainian border in Russia’s Belgorod region are members of a volunteer unit made up of Russian citizens who fought with Ukrainian forces against their own country.

The Free Russia Legion, as the volunteer unit is called, was formed last August to allow Russians opposed to the Kremlin’s war in Ukraine to take up arms and fight alongside the Ukrainians. The fighting by these anti-Kremlin Russian volunteers is largely confined to the front lines in Ukraine, largely in and around Bakhmut.

That changed this week, when the group announced that its fighters, along with Russians from another group called the Russian Volunteer Corps, had crossed the border and “liberated” several settlements in Russia. On Tuesday, the Free Russia Legion said fighting in the Belgorod region continued, although the Russian defense ministry said all fighters who had not been killed had been pushed back to Ukraine.

“This is the legion’s first operation on Russian territory and in the future the scope of our actions will only increase,” a Russian fighter, who goes by the call sign Caesar and took part in the operation, said in a text message.

Caesar, who is 50 and a soldier with the Free Russia Legion, responded to questions via a press officer of the group. The Russian Volunteer Corps, which claimed to have joined the Free Russia Legion in this week’s operation, took responsibility for an earlier, more limited incursion into Russia in March.

The involvement of the Ukrainian army in the operation is not clear. The Free Russian Legion operates under the umbrella of the Ukrainian International Legion, a force that includes units made up of American and British volunteers, as well as Belarusians, Georgians, and others. It is overseen by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and commanded by Ukrainian officers.

A senior Ukrainian official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to reveal details about the mission in Russia, said the Ukrainian military was largely acting in a support role, protecting the Ukrainian border in the area in case of a Russian counter-attack. No Ukrainian fighters entered Russian territory, the official said.

There were losses among the units participating in the operation, the official said, but not enough to affect their combat readiness. The official declined to provide further details.

Until recently, the Free Russia Legion had received little attention, partly to protect the soldiers and their families from Russian reprisals, but also because of Ukraine’s unwillingness to pay attention to the exploits of soldiers whose homeland had killed so many Ukrainians.

Several hundred Russians have been deployed to the front lines in eastern Ukraine, officials said, but the Ukrainian military has not disclosed exactly how many Russians are fighting on the Ukrainian side.

The motivations of Russians fighting for Ukraine vary. In interviews earlier this year, some said they were already living in Ukraine when the war started and felt the need to defend their adopted homeland. Others, often with no military experience, went to Ukraine after the outbreak of war and enlisted to fight.

Taking part is not easy, the Russian soldiers said. After filling out a detailed application, they undergo several rounds of background checks and take a polygraph. There is great distrust among Ukrainians. There have been several attempts by Russian intelligence agencies to infiltrate the Free Russia Legion, Ukrainian officials said.

A spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that the fighters had been pushed back and dozens had been killed.

But Caesar said fighting continued all day Tuesday and a Russian infantry company had been wiped out. His claims could not be independently confirmed. The senior Ukrainian official said the military was awaiting confirmation, including video from drones, of the fate of the Russian infantry company.

“The aim of the operation that started yesterday was the establishment of a demilitarized zone between Russia and Ukraine, the elimination of fighters serving the Putin regime and a demonstration to the people of Russia that it is possible to create resistance and fight against the Putin regime. within Russia,” wrote Caesar. “These goals have been successfully achieved.”
