A new picture of the Princess of Wales showing her looking happy and healthy may be a hint she’ll be back in the royal fold soon.

Kate Middleton, 42, has stepped back from royal duties since she was admitted to The London Clinic for ‘planned abdominal surgery’ on January 16.

Today, she shared a photo alongside her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, with fans commenting on how the royal looks like she is recovering well.

It may be a hint that Kate will return to action around Easter, and not as late as Trooping of the Colour in June.

Earlier this week, the Army backtracked on claims the Princess of Wales will attend June’s Trooping the Colour after accusations officials ‘jumped the gun’ without consulting the Palace.

Kensington Palace has released the first picture of Kate since her surgery as the Princess of Wales thanked the public for their support in a Mother’s Day message while she continues to recuperate

Tickets had gone on sale via the army website advertising Kate, 42, reviewing a ‘practice’ parade for the first time on June 8 in her role as honorary colonel of the Irish Guards.

It also announced that Charles, 75, would be reviewing his own official birthday parade on June 15 at Horse Guards.

But within minutes of the tickets going on sale, there were warnings that the MoD may have ‘jumped the gun’.

Kensington Palace sources made clear that they were ‘not consulted’ on the MoD announcement and said that any confirmed attendance by the princess would be made ‘only’ by themselves.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that planning for future engagements was continuing despite the King’s ongoing cancer treatment yet stressed that changes could be made nearer the time depending on his health.

Kensington Palaces broken their silence on Kate Middleton conspiracy theories earlier in the week.

A palace spokesman said the Prince of Wales is focusing ‘on his work and not on social media’.

Although officials have refused to give any further updates on Kate Middleton’s health due to medical privacy, royal aids have insisted she is ‘doing well’.

The photo of  the Princess of Wales has been branded ‘playful’ and shows her as ‘protective’ of her children, a body language expert has claimed.

Speaking exclusively to FEMAIL, Judi James said that Kate Middleton, 42, looked ‘authentic’ while her clothes showed a ‘relaxed happiness’.

The photos appear to show that the Princess is recovering well after undergoing surgery in January.

Kensington Palace released the first official photo of the Princess of Wales since her surgery as she thanked the public for their support in a Mother’s Day message on Sunday morning.

The royal is seen beaming with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in a picture taken by her husband, Prince William, at their home in Windsor.

‘Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day,’ the Princess of Wales said, signing off the message with a ‘C’ for Catherine.

Speaking today, Judi said the picture shows how the royal is one the mend.

‘There are so many reassuring non-verbal messages of continuity, relaxed happiness and even increasingly-restored good health here, as well as some even more telling ones of shared emotion,’ Judi said.

‘The pose itself, the styling and the colours chosen, look deliberately traditional and even signature for the family.

‘This is the type of photograph the Wales’s have posed for before, with heather-mix blues, greens and purple Fairisle knits and checks seeming to announce very little has changed and order and continuity has thankfully been restored,’ she added.

Opting for £250 Chloe Combat boots, which she’s worn several times before, Kate looked natural in jeans, a black polo neck and bottle green jacket.

Meanwhile, both Prince George and Princess Charlotte wore jumpers from French brand Cyrillus official.

Charlotte wore and adorable red Cotton and Cashmere Cardigan with a checked skirt and cotton tights while George wore a Lambswool Jumper in Kaki and jeans.

Kate went entirely without jewellery in the photo, in an unusual move for the royal, but Judi suggested that this could hint at her getting better.

‘Kate’s choice of casual clothing seems to hint at restored levels of health. Her lace-up boots, jeans and zip-up jacket all imply she’s off for a long Mother’s Day walk after the session.

‘Even the way she crosses her legs at the ankle suggests energy rather than a desire to sit still,’ she added.

Wearing her hair long and loose, Kate beamed as she sat with her three children at home in Windsor.

She opted for a natural make-up look with a creamy foundation and subtle lip gloss.

‘In terms of the body language it’s a relief for the fans (and the country) to see the joy and the sense of playful family fun are still firmly in place,’ Judi added.

‘Kate might be sitting but she’s the one with her protective arms around her two younger children and Kate’s smile is far more telling than her normal signature, pitch-perfect ‘”royal” smile.

‘This is an authentic, dimpled version with no signs of forcing or rigidity.

‘Her sparkling eye expression, which is aimed at her husband William behind the camera, suggests their usual levels of shared humour are still very much a thing.

‘George has his arms looped around his mother’s neck as though keen to protect her but this is also a pose he’s used frequently on his father and the children look relaxed enough to imply nobody is feeling any wariness or need to treat Kate as overly-fragile.

‘Their open-mouthed laughs look congruent enough to imply genuine playfulness that appears prompted by William from behind the lens,’.

The princess’ absence from royal engagements since the Christmas Day church service at Sandringham has led to huge speculation on social media – but the positive Mother’s Day update has been warmly welcomed by royal fans.

Buckingham Palace also shared a photo of the King with his late mother Queen Elizabeth II to mark Mother’s Day. Charles is seen kissing his mother’s hand after a polo match in 1985.

‘Wishing all Mothers, and those who are missing their Mums today, a peaceful Mothering Sunday,’ a message alongside the photo said.

Kensington Palace confirmed Kate’s surgery was successful and on January 29, she returned to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to be reunited with her children almost two weeks after having the surgery.

Last Monday, she was photographed for the first time since the medical procedure after US gossip website TMZ published pictures of her being driven around Windsor with her mother, Carole Middleton.

In the photo, Kate was wearing dark sunglasses and sat in the passenger seat of a black 4×4 Audi.

The pictures were not published in the UK after Kensington Palace appealed for her to be able to recuperate in private.

Days later, Carole’s brother – and Kate’s uncle – Gary Goldsmith revealed on Celebrity Big Brother that her niece was getting the ‘best care in the world’.

Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu asked Goldsmith on Wednesday’s episode: ‘Where’s Kate?’

He replied: ‘Because she doesn’t want to talk about… The last thing I’m going to do is… there’s a kind of code of etiquette. If it’s announced, I’ll give you an opinion.’

Kate’s ‘black sheep’ uncle added: ‘I spoke to her mum, my sister, she’s getting the best care in the world.

‘And all the family’s done is put the wagons round and look after family first before anything else. They put a statement out and just said ‘she’s taking some time to recoup and will see you in Easter’.’

After Kate was photographed in paparazzi pictured on Monday, the Ministry of Defence was then forced to delete a claim on its website that the Princess of Wales would be attending the Trooping the Colour.

Tickets had gone on sale via the army website advertising Kate reviewing a ‘practice’ parade for the first time on June 8 in her role as honorary colonel of the Irish Guards.

King Charles also shared a touching tribute to his 'darling Mama' on Mother's Day and wrote: 'Wishing all Mothers, and those who are missing their Mums today, a peaceful Mothering Sunday'

It also announced that King Charles, 75, would be reviewing his own official birthday parade on June 15 at Horse Guards.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that planning for future engagements was continuing despite the King’s ongoing cancer treatment yet stressed that changes could be made nearer the time depending on his health.

He is undertaking a very limited number of in-person engagements and certainly not anything with large crowds, on doctors’ advice.

The confusion has added to the sense of unease around the Royal Family, given that two of its most senior members are largely out of action for substantial periods.

Insiders have said, given the profile of the occasions, that it is likely that both the monarch and his daughter-in-law would do everything within their power to attend.

On Friday, the Prince of Wales visited the Oval cricket ground as he continues to carry out engagements while his wife and his father recover.

But his absence from his godfather’s memorial at Windsor Castle last month for a ‘personal matter’  led to increased speculation about his wife’s health.

The Palace has said that based on the current medical advice Kate was unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.

A spokesman stated that it was Kate’s personal wish to keep her personal medical information private and said it would only provide an update if there were ‘significant new information to share’.

William has been juggling royal duties with supporting Kate and helping care for George, Charlotte, and Louis.

Queen Camilla has led the royals at other events amid a slimmed-down monarchy – with Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Sophie also helping out.

Tomorrow, William will attend an event at immersive art venue Frameless in the Marble Arch area of London’s West End, celebrating The Earthshot Prize ‘Launchpad’ project.

This is a new online matchmaking platform for Earthshot projects which can be accessed by investors and philanthropists looking to co-invest and collaborate on environmental ideas.

Kensington Palace said that since 2021, the Earthshot Prize has awarded £15million of prize money and the network has helped unlock £50million of support via its network, for the 45 winners and finalists.

Also on Monday, Camilla and William are to attend the annual Commonwealth Day service, joined by remaining members of the slimmed-down monarchy.

With the King and Kate away from public-facing duties, the rest of the institution’s working royals will gather in force at Westminster Abbey.

Camilla and William will be accompanied by Edward, Sophie and Anne along with the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.

A pre-recorded video message from Head of the Commonwealth, Charles, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, will be played during the service this year, Buckingham Palace said.

The annual celebration will draw on the theme of resilience – at a time when the royal family has faced a barrage of health troubles.

But the service will focus on stories of environmental resilience and marine sustainability, through performances representing the five regions of the Commonwealth.

William’s appearance at the televised event – a key part of the royal calendar – alongside Camilla comes after he pulled out of attending his godfather King Constantine of Greece’s memorial service last week at the last minute due to an undisclosed personal matter.

With nine months left before Senate Republicans choose their next leader to succeed Sen. Mitch McConnell, some are recognizing the shadow of one figure outside Congress looming over the race: former President Donald J. Trump.

“He is the Republican frontrunner; he will have a say in it,” Sen. Mike Rounds, Republican of South Dakota, said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.” “The former president will have an opportunity to influence some of my colleagues, but we also want to be able to have a good working relationship with him if he becomes the next president of the United States.”

It was a reminder of Trump’s potential ability to make or break a senator’s bid for the post atop the Senate Republican Conference. And it underscored a political reality that Mr. McConnell recognized when he announced his decision last week to relinquish leadership — that the party’s base, deeply committed to Mr. Trump, had so decisively adopted Mr. McConnell, who does not speak to the former president, could not sustainably remain the leader.

Senators John Cornyn of Texas and John Thune of South Dakota, two contenders in the race, have criticized Mr. Trump, though they have both endorsed him in his 2024 campaign in recent weeks. A third John, Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming , the Senate’s third-ranking Republican, could also enter the race. He has maintained close ties to Mr. Trump and positioned himself to the right of Mr. Cornyn and Mr. Thune.

Senator Markwayne Mullin, Republican of Oklahoma, suggested on Sunday that Trump should stay out of the race.

“It’s a lose-lose situation,” Mr. Mullin, who is supporting Mr. Thune, said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “He has to work with whatever leader is there, and I can tell you that whatever leader is there, he understands that he is going to have to work with President Trump as well. So it’s not really in his interest to lean into the race at this point.”

But he acknowledged Trump’s potential influence, adding: “However, if he chooses to do it, it will make a difference.”

Mr. Rounds emphasized that Senate Republicans would make their own decisions about who to choose as their new leader and when to oust the former president.

“We have a lot of independent thinkers,” he said, noting that he was looking for a leader who would be willing to stand up to Mr. Trump.

“I want someone who will work with the president, but also take his own position,” said Mr. Rounds, who supports Mr. Thune’s bid, adding that he believed Mr. Thune would be “independent enough what he would pay attention to – just as Mitch did – to the institution of the Senate itself.”

The Spanish influencer left nothing to the imagination – but not in the way it usually sounds.

Georgina wore a dazzling dress, matching a version of Ronaldo’s famous Manchester United No7 shirt – a clear nod to his glorious Old Trafford era of 2003-2009 rather than his dismal ‘mistake’ of 2021-2022.

The 39-year-old Al-Nassr striker even appeared to sign the outfit and also added a name check to the luxury Swiss fashion house that designed the outfit.

Above his signature on the white “7” were the words “To Vetements”.

Georgina was the focus of a preview of that company’s women’s clothing for the coming fall and winter.

And she surprised many delighted onlookers by posing with two little guests in one shot.

Georgina and Ronaldo have five children, who mainly live together in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

And at the thrilling show in the French capital, six-year-old twins Eva and Mateo stood next to Georgina in sporty black gear.

The social media star, who has 57.5 million Instagram followers, wore a flowing dress – all red, except for the white trim and Ronaldo’s signature in black.

Admittedly, it may be controversial to call it fall or winter clothing – apart from the fact that it went all the way down to the ankles.

But the whole effect was serene, as she walked down a red carpet in a perfect symmetry of cool and color.

However, this grace was in stark contrast to her partner’s latest on-field antics.

Saudi authorities have banned Ronaldo for one match after he appeared to make a lewd gesture in response to Al-Shabab fans.

So while Georgina was beautifully red-laced, the Portuguese icon may have had a moody red face.

Meghan Markle looked effortlessly elegant as she wore a jacket captioned 'Kensington' for a trip to a First Nations center in Canada alongside Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex, who is in the country to promote the next Invictus Games, opted for a longline coat from LA-based Dôen, a female-run brand “that offers collections inspired by a nostalgia for the coast of California of the Past Decades'.

The slim-fit coat, priced at $598, featured ornate brass buttons, two patch pockets, a wide Italian velvet collar and princess seams for structure.

The jacket's name, Kensington, likely refers to the Californian community in the San Francisco Bay Area, but for royal fans it will likely bring Kensington Palace to mind.

Meghan, 42, and Harry, 39, lived in Nottingham Cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace while they were dating. The official residence of the Prince and Princess of Wales is also located in the palace.

The mother-of-two's coat was “made from an extra-warm wool-cashmere blend and lined with viscose twill” and was inspired by the “mod coats of the 60s,” according to the brand's website.

She paired the elegant garment with black trousers and a pair of glittering gold earrings.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex toured the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Center last night with youth ambassadors Chief Nelson and Wilson Williams.

Then there was a reception at the center – which, according to the website, is “the heart of Whistler's authentic Indigenous experience – a First Nations Museum, Art Gallery and Gift Shop, and Thunderbird Café.”

At the reception, artists who created the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 logo debuted their artwork.

The Duke and Duchess' trip comes as they are currently embroiled in an ongoing row over their rebranded 'royal' website Sussex.com – complete with Meghan's coat of arms – which critics claim is a breach of their promise to the late Queen when they bitterly quit royal duties on the front line.

Sources now say the couple did not consult palace officials about the use of their Sussex titles.

A source close to the couple defended the use of their royal titles, saying: 'Prince Harry and Meghan are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. That's a fact. It's their last name and family name.'

Yesterday, Meghan was forced to issue a statement defending the graphic design company that created the couple's new website. Harry has also been criticized for the short time he spent in Britain after his father's cancer diagnosis.

The couple seemed excited to spend Valentine's Day in Canada – the country where they fell in love – as they hit the slopes to promote the next Invictus Games, followed by a film crew.

They are in the picturesque ski resort of Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, on a two-day trip from California to highlight next year's event. It is the first time that it concerns winter sports.

Harry and Meghan were smiling and holding hands as they arrived at the ski station, watched by what appeared to be their own film crew.

The former Suits star also appeared to film on her phone as Harry tried out a ski chair for disabled athletes and spoke to instructors.

Meghan was all smiles and glam in skinny white jeans and a sweater topped with a beige padded jacket, while Harry was dressed in jeans and a black Eddie Bauer anorak as he arrived for a training session with athletes who planned to take part to participate in the 2025 Games.

The pair were spotted bending down to chat with athletes taking part in the competitions, with Harry trying out one of the competitors' sit-skis, while a film crew followed closely behind. Meghan was seen laughing with officials while also using her cellphone to gather content.

The appearance also marked the first time in nine months that the Duchess has publicly worn her £140,000 engagement ring.

The glittering band consists of one huge Botswana diamond and two out Princess Diana's collection since May 2023.

Her ring was noticeably absent from recent events, such as the premiere of Bob Marley biopic One Love last month in Kingston, Jamaica, and her presence at Variety's Power of Women gala in November 2023.

According to People magazine The reason behind the long interruption of the ring is that a setting has come loose and needs to be maintained.

Harry proposed to Meghan in November 2017, with the ring consisting of a solid yellow gold band set with three diamonds, but Meghan has since made several adjustments to the design.

The couple seemed completely unaffected by the row over their Sussex.com website. The Whistler trip is also their first public appearance as a couple since King Charles was diagnosed with cancer.

Harry and Meghan left the gondola on Whistler's Blackcomb Mountain shortly after 2:30pm local time and were introduced to three groups of adaptive skiers: an Alpine sit ski, a standing ski and a group of visually impaired athletes.

Alex Cairns, a sit-skier from Canada, was the first to meet the Sussexes and give a demonstration of the sport – arriving at the foot of the slope to Harry's cheers.

The Whistler games will mark the first time Invictus has offered winter sports.

The couple arrived in the country on Tuesday and were photographed by DailyMail.com landing in Vancouver just after noon Pacific Time after a two-hour flight from Santa Barbara – the closest airport to their home in Montecito.

Their arrival came on the same day Meghan announced she had signed a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media after she and Harry parted ways with Spotify.

A convoy of cars picked up the famous duo and took them to Whistler, where they will be Wednesday and Thursday before returning to Vancouver on Friday for an event in the City of Glass.

The couple are then expected to travel home to California on Friday afternoon to be reunited with their children Archie, five, and Lilibet, two.

Sir Alex Ferguson stressed that Manchester United has its own shade of red and it should never be too similar to Liverpool's.

The legendary manager insisted that United played in a dark shade of red during his reign.

And this even led to former kit supplier Nike designing a color that would meet the manager's specifications: “Diablo red”.

Fergie believed that if United used a shade that was too bright, it would look like the club was playing in a Liverpool shirt.

And the hatred of this color extended to everything to do with the club, including how Old Trafford was decorated.

But the Glazers breached this in 2022 when they repainted parts of Old Trafford, and staff noticed it was in the color Fergie despised.

An insider said ESPN: “They tried to spruce up Old Trafford with a paint job a few years ago.

“But they messed up. They used the wrong shade of red. When Sir Alex was in charge he always insisted that United played in a darker shade of red than Liverpool.”

“Nike, the kit partner at the time, even designed a specific shade for the team's kit, called 'Diablo Red.' The paint they used for Old Trafford is Liverpool red, which is too bright for United.”

It is not the only misfortune the Glazers have committed with the stadium during their reign.

Fans praise 'gentleman' Kobbie Mainoo, 18, for heartwarming gesture to emotional story of grief-stricken Man Utd fan

Fans have complained several times about the leaky roof at Old Trafford, which has become a symbol of the club's decline.

Last year, footage of a stream of water coming through the roof went viral, with fans also complaining that water could drip on them as they queued for food at half-time.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has identified improving Old Trafford as a priority and has set aside £2 million to build a 'Wembley of the North'.

My 18-year-old sister texted last week with a question I thought she would never ask.

'Where can I buy a knitted cardigan similar to Queen Camilla's???'

Eh?!

Yes, it's official. Queen Camilla is a Gen Z style icon.

Camilla wore a khaki green sweater vest with a white Peter Pan collar poking out from above. Casual, comfortable, yet smart and interesting

Camilla's new Heinz Baked Bean clutch is an early example of the Queen's playful fashion

This sweater vest was spotted on the Queen last week as she drove to meet the King at the London Clinic hospital.

Khaki green, a white shirt with a Peter Pan collar peeked out from the top. Casual, comfortable, yet smart and interesting.

It looked great on her at 76 and would look just as great on my five-year-old mother and my teenage sister.

Therein lies the key to Camilla's style: it is always appropriate for the occasion, but also shows a touch of daring.

Look at the details of her seemingly safe appearance and you'll discover an unexpected element of cool.

This is not surprising as her husband is, in my opinion and that of many others, possibly the most stylish man in the world.

Royal protocol dictates a certain style of dress (Camilla's favorite coat dresses strike the perfect balance between tradition and modern elegance), but accessories are an area in which she can express her individuality.

The way she uses them shows that she knows fashion.

The Heinz bag of baked beans she carried in 2015 is an early example. It added a contemporary, playful touch to an otherwise classic Camilla ensemble of blue dress, white jacket and pearls.

Fashion crowd favorite Demellier London is one of Camilla's favorite bag brands (also loved by the Duchess of Sussex and Princess of Wales).

Demellier's quality is comparable to designer names, but at a much more accessible price point of under £400.

Queen Camilla stacks thin bracelets from Parisian jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels – and a Gen Z favorite – as if they were from Accessorize. In fact they cost £4,000 each

Camilla wore their £355 midi Venice bag in October last year, alongside slim-fit jeans and a blue blazer.

How many other 76-year-olds wear slim-fit jeans?

Then there's that Bottega Veneta bag she wore to Wimbledon last year.

Paired with a white dress from favorite designer Fiona Clare, the look exuded quiet luxury.

It was a rare move for Camilla to choose such a clearly designer piece (Bottega's 'intrecciato' method of weaving makes their bags instantly recognizable – fans of royal style quickly found the bag online for £2,200).

But designer or not, the bag isn't dripping with logos or hardware. It remained elegant enough for a queen.

Bottega has a cult following among twenty-somethings – and the Millennials applauded.

Jewelry is another way Camilla shows that her approach to fashion is decidedly modern. It also suggests that she is more into luxury fashion than we might think given her boots and jeans image.

She stacks thin bracelets from Parisian jeweler (and yes, you guessed it) Van Cleef & Arpels as if they were from Accessorize.

Only these come closer to the £4,000 mark.

Like Bottega's woven bags, the iconic Alhambra symbol (inspired by a four-leaf clover) is instantly recognizable — and a favorite of Gen Z, by the way (that is, those born between the mid-nineties and 2012 or 13).

But again, it's about the hi-low combination, combining a current brand with classic clothing.

Just enough courage for Camilla to say: 'Don't underestimate me, I know fashion'.

There was another unexpected style triumph earlier this month when Camilla stepped out to visit a jeweler wearing mismatched earrings.

I'm still not sure if this was a deliberate move or an accident.

(She has to have someone check her appearance before she leaves, so I find it hard to believe it was an accident).

Anyway, she took it. The mismatched earrings added an element of playfulness to a classic Anna Valentine camel coat that she has worn several times before.

There have been a few times lately where Camilla has shown us what an underrated royal fashionista she really is, not just through accessories, but through some knockout looks from head to toe.

The Queen's showpiece was this Dior dress in Paris – by far her best style moment yet

The Dior couture cape dress she wore to a state banquet in Paris last September was, in my opinion, her best style moment ever. Dramatic, modern, yet classic.

There is a place for Dubarry and a place for Dior.

Camilla knows this and navigates both with ease, injecting seemingly classic looks with just enough modernity to keep them interesting.

Put it this way: there are few people who can beat Bottega as well as Barbour. Camille is one of them.

Carey Mulligan has said actors who claim awards don't matter are '100% lying' after she was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Maestro.

The 38-year-old, who has previously won two Academy Awards but has not yet taken home the golden statue, plays Felicia Montealegre, the long-suffering wife of Leonard Bernstein (Bradley Cooper) in the Netflix biopic.

Speak with The times Carey admitted her 'heart was racing' when the live nominations were announced and revealed husband Marcus Mumford placed motivational post-its around the TV in case her performance was overlooked.

Say: '[The nomination] is just the coolest thing there is. Because it belongs to your peers. It's bad'.

Before emphasizing that actors who said awards weren't nearly as important as the work itself were “100% lying.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Carey revealed her disappointment with Barbie and Saltburn's Oscar snaps, despite both being box office successes.

Barbie director Greta Gerwig failed to secure a nomination and Margot, who played the title character, was also passed over for Best Lead Actress.

The omissions drew extra attention due to the fact that Ryan Gosling, who played Ken, was nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

'I feel terrible for Greta [Gerwig] because I don't know what else you can do as a director to get nominated.' Carey said: 'You make a critically acclaimed film that is also an incredible global success, and yet you don't get nominated?'

Carey, who plays Pamela in Saltburn, said that while she was saddened that the film missed out on Oscar glory, she was overjoyed at how the film had “taken off” with audiences.

“At first people didn't know how to react, but then suddenly the internet took over and now it's become a huge phenomenon where you can buy candles called Jacob Elordi's Bathwater.”

In a spicy scene from the film, Barry Keoghan's character Oliver drinks from classmate Felix's bath.

It comes after actress Margot went bankrupt her silence followed her Oscar punched earlier this week.

Margot, 33, spoke about the furor during a SAG-AFTRA panel discussion on Thursday.

“You can't feel sad knowing that you're so blessed,” she began, adding that she was “beyond ecstatic” with the film's eight Oscar nominations.

“It's just incredible that everyone is getting the nods that they've had, and the best photo nod,” she continued.

“People's reactions to the film have been the biggest reward of this whole experience,” she added.

'I can't imagine a time when a film has had this effect on culture. And it's great to be in the eye of the storm.”

Some social media commentators pointed the finger at sexism over Robbie's criticism for Best Actress – despite America Ferrera being nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the same film.

“Ryan Gosling, even though he deserved it, got an Oscar nomination for Barbie, while Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie didn't?” wrote an outraged fan on X.

“This totally proves the point of the movie in 20 f***ing 24, you can't make this up,” the social media user added, referencing the film's feminist themes.

'Wait Ryan Gosling was nominated for his role as Ken, but Margot Robbie wasn't nominated for Barbie?! And Greta was rejected for Best Director?!?! Way to justify the literal plot of the movie,” another X user wrote, echoing the theme.

Margot has previously been nominated for two Oscars: Best Lead Actress for her 2017 film I, Tonya, a biopic about Tonya Harding, and Best Supporting Actress for the 2020 film Bombshell, which dramatized the story of Fox News' sex scandals.

Meanwhile, Greta was previously nominated for the Best Director Oscar for her 2017 film Lady Bird, marking her first solo helm of a feature film.

She was also nominated for that film's screenplay, as well as the script of her follow-up film, the 2019 adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel Little Women.
