Why do the women of Windsor always have to suffer?

Following the accusation that at least three London Clinic employees tried – and allegedly failed – to hack into Kate Middleton’s medical records, it is painfully clear how poorly her illness and recovery have been managed.

After all this time, Kate has one big question: some well-deserved privacy, please.

Yet a catastrophic mess, thanks in large part to PR fraudsters at Kensington Palace, has spawned global, invasive conspiracy theories with multiple tentacles, ranging from the strength of the Waleses’ marriage to whether it was really Kate who was seen walking around this week. proof-of-life video.

It’s unclear when this most private of data breaches was attempted, but it nevertheless proves how differently royal women are treated.

King Charles recently had his prostate surgery at the same hospital, yet – as far as we know – no one has tried to hack into his medical records.

Charles is of course a 70 year old man. His illness is not shocking like that of an otherwise healthy, 42-year-old woman.

Yet Kate has never put a wrong step. She has earned the goodwill and respect usually afforded her. To be violated like this – well, how much worse can it get?

Moreover, Kate’s crisis has become a joke, especially in America.

When the likes of Kim Kardashian, Andy Cohen and Blake Lively make fun of clicks, the royals have truly come dangerously close to reality TV culture, becoming just another social media meme.

Will Prince William finally get the memo? He has lost control of the narrative and messages and has compromised his wife’s dignity.

How could be Kate, who is still recovering, apparently had to take the blame for last week’s Photoshop fail? What is it in the House of Windsor that views its women – those who marry – as sacrificial lambs?

William should have taken that blow for his sick wife. It was such a no-brainer.

If he had done that, he would have earned the respect and affection of women everywhere, who would have seen it for what it would have been: a selfless effort to defend and protect his ailing wife.

It’s hard to imagine that no one on the Palace staff, no expert communications manager, suggested this.

You would think that lessons would have been learned after Diana. It seems not.

Diana, despite all her exposure to the press, suffered immensely. Camilla had to endure years of brutal humiliation. Kate did so too, angry that she seemed to be waiting for William.

Such ritual mortifications have traditionally been regarded as a rite of passage, a hazing, a crucible that Windsor women and wives-to-be must endure. The cost of doing business, if you will.

Build up those calluses, grow a thick skin, show your fortitude.

No wonder Cressida Bonas ran the other way. No wonder few aristocratic women are willing to submit to this.

What Kate is experiencing now should serve as a wake-up call.

Because here’s the truth: William may be a prince of the blood and a future king, but former commoner Kate far outshines him. Without her, the royal family is a somewhat sad affair, populated by balding men with varying charisma.

Kate is the glittering star, the proverbial jewel in the crown. They would never survive her departure.

Remember, last week Kate made what I read as an act of defiance: that photo of her in the back of a car with William, her face turned toward a brick wall.

That photo was meant to show the world, post-Photoshop scandal, that all was well. It had the exact opposite effect.

I interpreted the anger in Kate’s gaze; anger at having to clean up a mess while still recovering, a mess that no rational person believes was her fault.

This was quickly followed by an unprecedented series of quotes from Kate’s friends, telling the Daily Beast that the princess was suffering from “intense stress.”

One told the site that Kate’s inner circle was furious because she was being “harassed by the media for f***-ups made by other people.”

Sources also told the Mail that Kate was ‘very saddened by the fallout’.

Good for them.

Friends of Kate have also revealed their bafflement as to why Kate was seen in the photoshopped image without her wedding and engagement rings. That alone was guaranteed to get people talking.

How could no one in the Wales team spot that? This is an institute that sends signals through the stitching on a collar. I’m exaggerating, but only a little.

You doubt Kate will soon forget the events of the past few weeks.

In America, the end of the presidential election results in the losing side conducting an “autopsy,” a post-match report. If the monarchy never wants to endure a self-inflicted crisis like this again, Prince William would do well to order one.

And defend his wife in the future – period.

The tragedy came after she went to her GP with mysterious back pain and was given an emergency appointment at Crosshouse Hospital, near Kilmarnock.

The mother-of-three, from Dreghorn, Ayrshire, said: “Before the MRI scan they asked if I could be pregnant. I said no. I honestly didn’t think that was possible.

“I had no symptoms. I still got my period and had no tummy.”

But immediately after the scan on March 1, Natasha suddenly had the urge to go to the toilet.

She said: “As soon as I walked in I was like, ‘Oh no.’

‘I just pulled the red cord to alert the staff and they rushed in.

“They did a quick ultrasound and sure enough, there was a baby and it was coming.”

Just 44 seconds later, Natasha gave birth to her 2.5kg baby girl.

Hospital staff had to contact Natasha’s mother, Susan Colvin, to tell her the surprising news.

Natasha, also mum to Charlotte-Lillie, four, and 18-month-old Ivy-Rae, added: “The last thing my mum knew was that I had to have an MRI scan – a few hours later I came home with a baby . But she’s the best surprise ever.

“Once we got over the initial shock, we were all elated.”

How could the palace let Kate blame it?

Not since the moon landing have there been so many conspiracies surrounding the authenticity of a photo.

A simple family photo of Kate with her children, intended to quiet rumors about her health and character, has been revealed as a fake, a fraud, a Frankenstein.

It’s the most epic Photoshop fail of the century. It is also the biggest PR blunder for the royals in years.

Hours after its publication, news agencies around the world announced they were removing the photo because it was clearly not authentic – sixteen errors and counting.

And far from quelling rumors about Kate’s health, concerns have only been fueled by what the photo’s inauthenticity might suggest: that she is so ill, she has unedited photo was not an option.

Rather than quashing rumors about Kate's health, concerns have only been fueled by what the photo's inauthenticity might suggest: that she is so ill that releasing an unedited photo wasn't an option.

Worst of all, it gave the Montecito Miserables cheerleaders an opening that they exploited in the most unsavory way.

Meghan, don’t you know, that could never happen.

“This is not a mistake Meghan would ever make,” a source close to the Sussexes told Page Six.

Their stenographer Omid Scobie gave his unsolicited opinion on social media.

“The long history of lying and cover-up at the Palace makes it increasingly difficult for the public to believe a word (and now a photo) they share,” he wrote.

Scobie further claimed that regaining the trust of the press and public, damaged by this photoshop failure, would be ‘an almost impossible task’.

The melodrama! As if Harry and Meghan are examples of trust and integrity.

Dear Lord.

Even as Kate suffers, this fierce battle of transatlantic one-upmanship continues.

What made this mess worse was the apology issued on Monday – by Kate!

She fell on her sword and wrote a post that minimized her skills and made her sound like a hesitant, foolish woman instead of the worthy future queen that she is.

“Like many amateur photographers, I occasionally experiment with photo editing,” she wrote.

Let’s unpack that first line, shall we? Kate studied art history. She has been her family’s unofficial resident photographer since her first child was born ten years ago.

It’s safe to assume that Kate understands composition, lighting, color theory and the like. But here she is reduced to calling herself just an ‘amateur’ who ‘experimented’, and a bad one at that.

“I wanted to apologize for any confusion the family photo we shared yesterday caused,” she continued.

Note: ‘we’. She didn’t do this alone. A release like this goes through many layers, through aides and private secretaries, and perhaps even the King.

It seems to me that someone should have – should have advised against releasing a fake image. It also seems to me that this extremely bad idea could only have been implemented by someone who can never be said ‘no’ to.

So: where is Prince William?

Why not He take the blame?

After all, this photo was taken by him.

Even if no one believed he was the one behind that bad photoshop – most of us certainly don’t believe it was Kate, who was too ill to drive or, according to William, even see this year’s BAFTA-nominated films watching – he would have deserved the title of the world. respect for the fact that he stood in front of his wife and took the blows.

Instead he remains silent.

Instead, Kate was dragged outside yesterday, photographed sitting next to her husband in the back of a car, her face turned away from the camera and towards a brick wall.

That act seemed like a challenge to me.

Kate has hardly put a wrong step. She signed up for the job and has never shown anything but good cheer towards her duties.

She stood in front of the media hours after giving birth and looked fantastic.

But she clearly refused to participate in this photo, which was probably designed to magnify the “amateur” photo that has shocked the world.

As she should.

No one believes that Kate alone created this mess. Why should she have to give up more of her privacy, at an obviously vulnerable moment, to right a wrong her husband should never have allowed?

After all, William has a pretty sophisticated understanding of how the media works. It’s ingrained in his destiny, shaped by a mother who constantly manipulated the media.

There was no reason for Kate and William to travel together on Monday. Her car actually drove behind him.

He was on his way to a Commonwealth service at Westminster Abbey and she was going to a private appointment – an appointment that would have been much more private had she not gone with him in that Range Rover.

Meanwhile, royal sources push the insulting, patronizing narrative that poor, misguided Kate just didn’t understand what she was doing. And in addition to being physically ill, Kate is now said to be distraught at having single-handedly caused such a disruption.

“Terrible” was how Kate felt about this, a royal source told the Telegraph. Her intention was only to make the image ‘as good as possible’, but now she believes that honesty is the ‘best policy’ and that she should ‘take personal responsibility’.

It makes Kate sound like a dumbass. And there’s also a hint of misogyny here: the little woman who did her best, but made a mess of it.

Where is Prince William? Why didn't he take the blame? Instead, Kate was dragged outside yesterday, photographed sitting next to her husband in the back of a car, her face turned away from the camera and towards a brick wall. That act seemed like a challenge to me.

Can anyone imagine Charles blaming Camilla in this way?

If William and Kate’s older children don’t see this controversy online, they’re sure to hear about it at school: that their sick mother is to blame.

This is a shame.

Kate is the future of the Crown. She is the Windsors’ most dazzling asset, someone who commands global goodwill.

If the thought was that her popularity meant she could afford to take responsibility – wow. What an ultimate miscalculation.

The photo’s metadata shows that it was saved twice in Adobe Photoshop – highly sophisticated software that an ‘amateur’ like Kate certainly wouldn’t be able to navigate.

The first saved version had a timestamp of 9:54 PM on Friday, March 8.

Does anyone think that sick Kate was really playing with this around ten o’clock at night?

In a rare 2020 interview, Kate opened up about her approach to photography. Spoiler alert: something is wrong with this highly edited family photo.

“One of the great things about photography is that it really captures that moment, so it’s not a backdrop, it’s not a perfect setting,” she said. ‘You don’t tidy up your house, so you have the perfect studio setup. But it really captures those moments that feel real to you.”

Kate has always given us, if not her real self, her best self.

Above all, William should understand how difficult that is.

In her hour of need, it is up to the future king – and not his sick wife – to solve this.

On February 5, it was revealed that Horner, 50, was the subject of a formal complaint from a female colleague for controlling and coercive behavior, with the investigation later said to involve him sending inappropriate messages to a woman.

He strongly denied the bomb claims.

After a grueling three-week internal investigation, he was cleared of any wrongdoing yesterday and it was confirmed he would keep his £8million-a-year job.

A source told The Sun last night: “Christian’s career, his marriage and his reputation were attacked but there are now no questions about his character.

“There is no shadow. But questions are being asked about how this happened, why it happened and who was responsible.”

The former driver returned to the track for the first time today – smiling and with a big task ahead of him.

He must now repair the damage and provide assurance that his relationship with Red Bull world champion Max Verstappen, 26, remains strong enough to win a fourth consecutive drivers’ title.

Some insiders believe that the relationship between Horner and Verstappen is sufficiently healthy. The times reports, despite the young driver choosing not to publicly support his boss yesterday.

When asked during a press conference whether he fully supported Horner, Verstappen said: “Well, I trust the process, that’s what’s happening now. I don’t want to comment on that.

“Because it’s not my business and I don’t want to be involved. But as a team we do trust that process and we just have to be patient, because there is no need to start saying things, shouting things out. loud. You have to have patience.’

Christian Horner acquitted after investigation into ‘inappropriate behaviour’

Verstappen’s father, Jos, a former racing driver, is reportedly a friend of the female complainant, who was still working at Red Bull’s headquarters in Milton Keynes on Monday.

Horner flew to Bahrain yesterday – accompanied by a senior advisor to the team, Helmut Marko – ahead of the opening of the F1 season race on Saturday, where Verstappen hopes to lead the team to victory.

The Red Bull boss told Sky Sports in Bahrain this morning: “I’m just happy the process is over.

“I am here now very much to concentrate on the coming season and to defend both our titles.

He added that the team’s unity “has never been stronger.”

There is confidence in the Red Bull camp that Horner’s position is safe, even if the female complainant appeals the decision – which she has the right to do.

A spokesperson for Red Bull GmbH said: “The independent investigation into the allegations against Mr Horner has been completed and Red Bull can confirm that the complaint has been dismissed.

“Red Bull is confident that the investigation was fair, rigorous and impartial. The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore, out of respect for everyone, we will not be commenting further. The King’s Counsel’s report, which dismissed the complaint, runs to approximately 150 pages and was based on 60 hours of research. Job interviews with Horner and other staff members.

Horner himself had to worry about the claims for eight hours.

Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, 51, was said to be “relieved and delighted” last night as her F1 boss husband was cleared of wrongdoing.

She had firmly supported Horner, whom she married in 2015, from the moment the claims against him were made public.

A source said: “These have been weeks of hell for Christian and his family.

“As he has said all along, these claims are ‘crazy.’

‘An extensive investigation has been carried out and the allegations have been found to be nonsense.

“Geri stands firmly behind Christian – and his entire family is relieved and elated that it is over. Those feelings are there, but no one around him feels like celebrating much after what he has been through.

“For now, his focus is completely on winning races again.”

The former pop star was reportedly left “in tears” when the scandal broke earlier this month and was supported by friends including her fellow Spice Girls.

I’m just glad the process is over. I am here now very much to concentrate on the coming season and to defend both our titles

Christian HoornerTeam boss of Red Bull Racing

This weekend she can join her husband in Bahrain.

What lies ahead for Horner’s career remains unclear. Some are reportedly dissatisfied with the lack of transparency in the investigation and others are relieved to hear that he has been acquitted.

The team boss’s position has become more uncertain since his ally and Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz died in October 2022.

Horner has reportedly managed to retain the support of Chalerm Yoovidhya, who controls 51 percent of Red Bull and is the eldest son of Chaleo, the Thai businessman who co-founded Red Bull in 1984.

But not everyone feels warmly towards him and, at the initiative of Red Bull Austria, there have been discussions about a possible realignment of the future.

The possibility of this was dismissed last night – at least in the short term – by sources who insisted Horner would remain both team boss and CEO of the all-conquering F1 team.

What was claimed?

F1 was rocked earlier this month by the sudden news that the sport’s longest-serving team boss had been put under investigation by Red Bull’s Austrian-based parent company.

This was thought to be about a ‘file containing incriminating material’ about ‘inappropriate and controlling behaviour’ towards a woman, The Telegraph reported.

Red Bull’s Austrian parent company sent an independent lawyer to Britain to question the multimillionaire and his accuser.

The former driver, who leads the all-conquering Red Bull team of world champion Max Verstappen, had to worry about the claims for eight hours.

However, more accusations have recently emerged The Telegraph reported that Horner had allegedly sent inappropriate messages to his employee “over an extended period of time.”

It was claimed that messages were stored and presented as evidence to the outside lawyer leading the investigation after the woman filed a complaint last December.

Mr Horner categorically denied the new allegations and would take legal action against De Telegraaf.

The investigation raised the question of who could take over the helm of world champion Max Verstappen’s all-conquering racing team.

His wife Geri Halliwell is also said to be “terrified that her life would unravel” amid Horner’s investigation into “inappropriate behaviour”.

The ex-Spice Girl, who “burst into tears” when the Red Bull boss was hit with the allegations, feared the drama would drag on for years, a source claimed.

But Geri, 51, stood by her husband.

She told friends: “Christian did nothing wrong.”

Horner has had an enormous period of success for the racing team: he won several F1 championships with Sebastian Vettel and Verstappen.

Red Bull has won seven Formula 1 Drivers’ World Championships and six Constructors’ World Championships under Horner’s leadership.

Last season the team won 21 of the 22 races on the global F1 tour, with 26-year-old Verstappen winning the drivers’ crown.

Horner received a CBE for services to motorsport in the 2024 New Year’s Honors List.

Tooth pain can be debilitating and extremely uncomfortable and too unbearable for children. Here, an expert has recommended some home remedies to get pain relief naturally.

Toothache in Children: Expert Recommends 7 Home Remedies for Quick Pain Relief (Freepik)

Toothache in children can be painful for both the child and the parents. While it is crucial to consult a dentist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, there are several home remedies that can provide temporary relief from the discomfort. In an exclusive conversation with India.com, Dr. Puja Sabherwal, consultant pediatric dentistry, Madhukar Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Malviya Nagar Delhi, explains some natural ways to relieve pain in children.
Here is a comprehensive guide on how to get rid of toothache in children using simple but effective methods.

ORAL HYGIENE: 7 HOME REMEDIES FOR TOOOTACHE IN CHILDREN

  1. Saltwater rinses: Gargling with warm salt water is a proven remedy for toothache. It helps reduce inflammation and acts as a natural disinfectant, promoting healing of the affected area. Encourage your child to swish a solution of warm water and a teaspoon of salt for about 30 seconds before spitting it out. This can be done several times a day.
  2. Cold compress: A cold compress is an excellent way to numb the pain and reduce the swelling associated with a toothache. Apply a cold compress or ice pack, wrapped in a thin cloth, to the outside of the child’s cheek, near the affected tooth. Limit application to 15-minute intervals to prevent frostbite and take breaks between sessions.
  3. Clove or clove oil: Cloves have natural analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, making them a valuable remedy for toothaches. You can use clove oil by applying a small amount to a cotton ball and placing it on the painful tooth. Alternatively, chewing a whole clove or placing a piece of clove near the affected area may provide relief, only if your child is not allergic to cloves.
  4. Hydration and healthy nutrition: Encourage your child to stay hydrated as this supports overall oral health. Drinking water helps flush bacteria and debris from the mouth. In addition, maintaining a healthy diet rich in vitamins and minerals contributes to strong teeth and gums. Limit sugary snacks and drinks to avoid further irritation.
  5. Cleaning and home hygiene: Typically, children brush only once a day, which is well below the guideline of twice to three times a day. Brushing in circular motions (20-30 strokes) over the affected area with an extra soft brush and age-specific toothpaste can help get pain relief by reducing inflammatory mediators and external food and bacteria from the area.
  6. Soft, easy-to-chew diet: If your child complains of toothache, you can give him soft foods such as yogurt, khichdi, curd rice and oats. Extreme temperatures can be avoided, along with hard, crunchy foods such as seeds, nuts or popcorn. Furthermore, avoid sugary foods and drinks.

While these home remedies may provide temporary relief, it is essential to schedule a dental appointment for a thorough examination and appropriate treatment. Tooth pain in children can be caused by a variety of problems, including cavities, gum problems or erupting teeth. A dentist can identify the cause and recommend a customized plan to address the underlying problem.

These home remedies can be effective in relieving dental pain in children and provide a natural and accessible way to provide comfort. However, they are not a substitute for professional dental care. If the pain persists or worsens, consulting a dentist immediately is crucial to ensure the child’s oral health and well-being.

A man was recently tending to his houseplant when a split-second decision left him covered in painful spines.

Joe, a garden enthusiast, was repotting his cactus when he accidentally grabbed the plant to pull it up, forgetting the tips.

Hundreds of needle-sharp cactus spines, known as glochids, were immediately embedded in Joe’s hand.

‘Oops! I made a big mistake repotting a cactus,” he shared along with a photo of his injured hand. “I had to buy wax strips to get them out.”

The tiny needles look like tiny hairs, but can be dangerous if not treated immediately. Millions of people describe the feeling as ‘thousands of needles pricking you at the same time’.

Hundreds of needle-sharp cactus spines were in Joe’s hand

Although cactus needles are not poisonous to humans or animals, leaving them in your skin can cause an infection due to the bacteria or fungi on the surface.

Needles that puncture the muscles can also cause abscesses.

Some of the safest ways to remove cactus spines is to first use sterilized tweezers to pluck out the large spines.

You can then use household glue or wax strips to remove the glochids.

If you are concerned that spikes still remain in your skin or if you experience pain or swelling, it is advisable to consult a doctor immediately.

Joe isn’t the only one who has made the mistake of touching a cactus – and hundreds shared their experiences.

‘I was in a plant shop and a kid knocked over a cactus. I caught it instinctively and had spikes everywhere,” one man said. “I pulled them out one by one.”

Another revealed: ‘I always had a little cactus on the dashboard of my car. One day I braked particularly hard, he fell and my knee-jerk reaction was to catch him.”

One joked: ‘I’ve always wanted to touch a cactus to see if it really sticks and this answers my question so thank you for your sacrifice.’

Not all losses are equal – and no defeat in football is worse than a joke defeat.

“In extra time it’s Klopp’s kids against the blue billion dollar bottles,” said Sky Sports co-commentator Gary Neville, who succinctly and indisputably established the dominant narrative of a surreal Carabao Cup final almost as soon as Virgil van Dijk’s glancing header had landed in the far corner of Djordje Petrovic’s net.

Not only had Liverpool beaten Chelsea (again) at Wembley, they had done so in a way that confirmed the ‘mentality monsters’ culture that Jurgen Klopp has cultivated in recent years – apparently across all age groups at Kirkby and in the first team. for nine years as he mercilessly exposed the fatal flaws in the lavish Stamford Bridge investment project financed by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital over the past two years.

In the bowels of Wembley after the match, a despondent Mauricio Pochettino wearily took it upon himself to point out the nuance in the story. “I don’t hear what he said, but if you compare the ages of the two groups, I think it’s similar,” the Chelsea head coach said when asked about Neville’s line-up. “Look, I have a good relationship with Gary. I don’t know how to take his opinion, but I respect his opinion.

“We are a young team. Nothing compares to Liverpool as they also ended up with young players. Comparison is impossible and he knows that the dynamics are completely different. We played against Liverpool and Chelsea, Chelsea and Liverpool, and I don’t think it’s fair to speak like this.”

The dynamic between youth and experience at Wembley was not as clear as Neville claimed. Liverpool’s on-field XI had a higher average age than Chelsea’s at the start of the match and at the start of extra time. Van Dijk, a 32-year-old who now has eleven major trophies to his name, was the outstanding field player throughout and found the net with two headers worthy of winning a final, only one of which survived VAR review .

Cole Palmer is denied by Caoimhin Kelleher (Julian Finney/Getty Images)

But the counterargument becomes difficult to sustain when the other team consists of two 19-year-olds, Bobby Clark and James McConnell, who have each played fewer than ten professional games, and another (Jayden Danns) who was making his second senior appearance. Chelsea undoubtedly lost to several kids; the main question is: did they bottle it?

Chelsea showed unmistakable signs of nerves at Wembley. Axel Disasi twice sparked Liverpool’s transition attacks by fumbling the ball under little pressure. Malo Gusto, who is usually so determined, checked straight out of the game several times. Levi Colwill kicked an attempted pass to Ben Chilwell miles down the field and was told to calm down by Enzo Fernandez, who played sloppy passes with surprising regularity.

Further back, Conor Gallagher struggled with an eerily similar cocktail of bad luck and poor composure in front of goal to which fellow Cobham graduate Mason Mount suffered against the same opponents in the same stadium in 2022.

Gallagher squandered several chances (Mike Hewitt/Getty Images)

Nevertheless, as the clock ticked towards the end of the ninety minutes it was Chelsea who looked more likely to win, with Cole Palmer picking apart a Liverpool team whose legs seemed to have disappeared. It was at this point that Klopp made a decision that probably no other elite coach would have made: putting the fate of a major trophy in the hands of unproven youngsters, rather than retreating with experience and playing for penalties.

His choice transformed this Carabao Cup final into the spiritual sequel to Chelsea’s bizarre 4-1 win over nine-man Tottenham Hotspur in November: a situation where a convincing victory is the only acceptable outcome and anything less brings utter humiliation. Pochettino had to lead his team through twenty nervous, aimless minutes that evening before they overcame the fear of looking ridiculous – of being on the receiving end of a banter loss – and went on to win the match.

Klopp’s own ‘it’s just who we are, mate’ moment seemed to send Chelsea into a similar mental crisis at Wembley, which lasted for most of extra time, exacerbated by their dwindling energy levels. During half-time of their woefully cautious performance in the extra period, all of Chilwell, Disasi and Moises Caicedo could be seen lying on the pitch receiving attention for cramps.

Not losing has replaced winning as Chelsea’s top priority. “The team started to feel that penalties might be good for us,” Pochettino said, acknowledging the weakness blamed on him and this group of players in the bitter aftermath.

Finals define the clubs, players and coaches who participate in them. Klopp has lost his share over the years, but never through passivity and through that rock-solid commitment to the idea of who carries Liverpool at Wembley. Chelsea’s identity as expert finals winners began to fade in the final years of Roman Abramovich’s ownership; this is now seven cup final defeats in their last eight visits to the national stadium, and six in a row.

Doubts about Pochettino’s ability to reverse that trend will only increase. In five years at Tottenham he built impressive teams that fell just short of winning and despite his open emphasis on the power of positive energy, his calm Chelsea was undone by Klopp’s peerless command of psychological momentum.

Liverpool at full strength are much better than Chelsea, but they won the Carabao Cup final not through superior talent, but through superior mentality, coupled with an undeniable sense of identity that binds the first team and the academy together – in other words, things that Boehly and You can’t just buy Clearlake’s money.

“They have to feel the pain,” Pochettino said of his Chelsea players. The pain of this jocular loss will be difficult to shift, immortalized by Marcel’s brutal words.

IF you have been medically diagnosed as having chronic pain, you could be eligible for benefits worth up to £173 per week.

You could be entitled to a financial boost, whether it's for back pain, fibromyalgia or trigeminal neuralgia.

If you have any of these problems, you could be eligible for a Personal Independence Payment (PIP) every week.

Chronic pain can also affect people living with other long-term conditions, such as diabetes, arthritis and irritable bowel syndrome, who are also candidates for PIP.

PIP is a benefit paid to people with long-term physical or mental health conditions or disabilities.

The payment can increase your income by thousands of dollars per year, and you can qualify for it whether you work or not.

PIP consists of two elements: a daily living section if you need help with daily tasks, and a mobility section if you need help getting around.

But in total the payments can be up to £172.75 per week, so if you're not claiming it yet, check if you're eligible.

The DWP says that while there is no specific list of conditions that entitle people to PIP, the impact this has on your daily life could mean you qualify.

What is PIP?

Millions of people suffering from long-term health conditions or disabilities are receiving additional cash help through Personal Independence Payments (PIP).

You can get PIP even if you work, save or receive most others advantages.

The payments can be up to £172.75 per week, so if you haven't claimed this yet, check your eligibility.

PIP is available to people aged 16 or over, but no new claims can be made if you have reached state pension age.

The current state pension age is 66 years, but this is expected to rise to 68 years.

EVERGREEN – How to Reduce Energy Costs and Get Help with FOUR Major Household Bills

Crucially, you also have a health condition or disability where you have had difficulty with daily living or getting around (or both) for three months, and you expect these difficulties to continue for at least nine months (unless you are terminally ill) . with less than 12 months to live).

Problems with daily life may include:

  • Preparing or eating food
  • Washing, bathing and going to the toilet
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Read and communicate
  • Managing your medications or treatments
  • Making decisions about money
  • Dealing with other people

You can apply for PIP at the same time as other benefits, except the Armed Forces Independence Allowance.

If you receive a constant healthcare allowance, you will receive less of the daily living expenses of PIP.

If you receive a mobility allowance for war pensioners, you will not receive the mobility part of PIP.

What are the current PIP rates?

PIP consists of two parts, and whether you receive one or both parts depends on how severely your condition affects you.

How much you get also depends on how your condition affects you.

You can get the mobility part of PIP if you need help getting out or moving. The weekly rate for this is £26.90 or £71.

Meanwhile, the weekly rate for the daily living part of PIP is £68.10 or £101.75 – and you can get both elements, so up to £172.75 in total.

Payments are typically deposited directly into your bank account every four weeks and are tax-free.

Benefits will increase by 6.7% from April, in line with the consumer price index (CPI) inflation level for September 2023.

It means those living in everyday PIP will see their payments rise to £72.65 or £108.55 per week.

Payments for the mobility part of Pip will increase at the same time in April to £28.70 or £75.75 per week.

We previously revealed the exact amount by which other benefits will rise in April, including Universal Credit and Pension Credit.

How do I apply for PIP?

You can make a new PIP claim by calling the Department for Work Pensions (DWP) on 0800 917 2222.

There are also other ways to claim if you find it difficult to use a phone. To see UK Government For more information.

If you make a claim you will need the following information:

  • Your contact details
  • Date of birth
  • National insurance number
  • Account number and sorting code of the bank or building society
  • The name of your doctor or health professional
  • Address and telephone number,
  • Dates and addresses of the time you spent abroad, in a nursing home or hospital

Someone else can call on your behalf, but you must be present with them when they call.

You will then receive a form to complete, after which you will be invited for an assessment, or your healthcare provider or social worker will be asked for information.

You will then receive a letter stating whether your claim has been successful.

You can read about Citizens Advice's help in preparing an assessment guide on the website.

If you apply for PIP and are unsuccessful, you can appeal the decision.
