B&M shoppers are rushing to buy a Miss Dior perfume dupe for just £4, and it’s perfect for Mother’s Day.

Fans of the original Dior fragrance will save big by buying the dupe, which smells like the inspiration, for just a fraction of the price.

Normally Miss Dior retails at Boots for £116 for a 100ml bottle.

Miss Dior is a classic scent that many of us know, but it is a pricey scent.

But as part of B&M’s Scent Favorites line, B&M is selling the Miss Dior dupe, Miss Adora, for £3.99.

That means the Miss Adora dupe sells for £112 less than Miss Dior.

B&M describes the fragrance as: “Top notes are Strawberry, Mandarin Orange and Orange. The middle notes are Rose and Jasmine.

“Base notes are patchouli, sandalwood, amber, oak mass and vetiver.”

It says the scent is perfect to wear for most occasions.

Meanwhile, a perfume professional has revealed five scents she can’t stand.

Not only did she claim that a popular Dior spray makes you smell like grandma, but she also thinks an iconic Carolina Herrer smells “disgusting.”

The Sun asked an independent perfume expert to carry out blind smell tests on popular perfumes and their high street ‘dupes’ to see if the budget versions stood up to the originals.

Rashida (@skinthusiast_pa) shared the beauty tip in an Instagram video.

“Do you feel like your perfume doesn’t last long?” she asked.

“This hack is about to become your best friend. Say hello to Vaseline.”

Immediately $2 tube of petroleum jellyshe dabbed some on the inside of her wrists and behind her ears.

“Apply a thin layer of Vaseline to your pulse points before spritzing your favorite perfume,” she said.

After applying her perfume to the same spots, Rashida was locked up all day.

The trick was backed by science, she explained, thanks to Vaseline’s occlusive properties.

“When applied to the skin, it forms a thin barrier that retains moisture and prevents water loss through evaporation,” she said.

“The same barrier applies to odor molecules.”

Without Vaseline, odor molecules normally evaporate and the odor diminishes.

“If petroleum jelly is applied beforehand, it helps slow the evaporation process,” she said.

The jelly helps trap the fragrance molecules and prevent evaporation.

“As a result, the fragrance molecules remain concentrated on the skin for longer, extending the duration of the fragrance,” she added.

“Say goodbye to constant touch-ups and hello to a scent that lasts from morning to night, who wouldn’t want that?”

This hair mist is designed to be layered with Diptyque’s eau de perfume and body products of the same name. So it’s probably for that reason that the scent is quite subtle; it reminded me of cotton sheets and didn’t overpower my existing perfume.

But it doesn’t have much staying power and requires replenishments throughout the day, worth considering considering there’s only 30ml in a bottle.

This smells as luxurious as it looks. The scent is refined and fresh, without being overpowering. Added ingredients pro-vitamin B5 and argan oil also claim to condition the hair and add shine.

While I didn’t notice much difference in the softness of my hair, this smelled nice enough to wear without my usual perfume.

A PERFUME expert has revealed the Giorgio Armani dupe that you will “receive a ton of compliments” if you wear it.

The Zara perfume is a whopping £107 cheaper than the designer scent and is said to have “amazing longevity”.

The fragrance expert behind the @allfancythingsz TikTok account took to the platform to rave about Zara's Sublime Epoque EDP.

She described it as “fresh, sweet, stylish and clean” – and a reference to My Way by Giorgio Armani.

An 80ml bottle of the dupe will cost you just €22.99, while the designer scent costs €130 for a 90ml bottle.

Zara bosses describe the perfume as an “eau de perfume that pays tribute to a sublime and radiant femininity”.

“At the heart, a sparkling floral bouquet of jasmine, tuberose and orange blossom brightens in contact with the natural facets of bergamot,” they said.

“Vanilla and cedar mingle to form a warm and addictive background.”

The story behind Giorgio Armani's My Way is very similar.

Bosses at the Italian fashion house said the fragrance is “embodied by a woman looking for experiences that challenge her preconceptions and take her into new, uncharted territory.”

The scent resembles a bright floral bouquet of tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom “enhanced by vibrant cedarwood and warm vanilla”.

“My Way is a contemporary floral fragrance with a fusion of white flowers in the heart,” reads a blurb for the designer perfume.

“The fragrance is composed of the best natural ingredients.

“Vanilla is sourced from Madagascar through an inclusive program that benefits local communities, while tuberose is harvested in India.

“Creating the notes brings together craftsmanship and innovation, as the tuberose heart is extracted using molecular distillation, allowing the perfumers to select the creamy, velvety facets tailor-made for My Way.

“The orange blossom note is extracted in Egypt using an innovative, exclusive and completely natural enfleurage process, where the cold extraction method infuses the orange flowers with orange essence.

In December, beauty fanatic Steffani Chua was stunned while shopping in Zara and noticed new affordable fragrances.

This includes a dupe called “better” than designer Black Opium for £69 cheaper.

Zara's Supreme Vanilla has notes of Madagascar vanilla, sugar, tonka bean and cedarwood.

The Body Shop went bankrupt just 24 hours ago, but savvy eBay sellers are already profiting from its demise.

Founded in 1976, founder Dame Anita Roddick went from selling just 25 products in her home town of Brighton to supplying beauty products to teenagers around the world and sitting on a multi-millionaire empire.

But yesterday the brand introduced the FRP Advisory to deal with the insolvency process, which has affected its UK staff and stores.

However, as shops prepare for a possible closure, eBay sellers have prepared to sell their vintage items from The Body Shop to those mourning the loss on the high street.

And values ​​have soared as sellers trade their '90s fragrances at premium prices, including a retro perfume oil for £230 and an old make-up bag for £69.99.

A range of innovative items put The Body Shop in the spotlight, from fruit soaps to body butter in scents so delicious you'd be tempted to eat them.

However, the store has gradually phased out quirky items in favor of more conventional products, leaving fans disappointed.

Astute eBay sellers have picked up on the public's desire for old-fashioned items and have been unearthing their vintage goods to sell on eBay.

For example, one retailer has priced Dewberry perfume at a whopping £160, with an additional £40 if you want the gift bag included.

Elsewhere, another seller has listed a vintage 'ultra rare' perfume oil from the brand for as much as £231, and it has been used.

Meanwhile, a bar of soap in the much-loved White Musk scent will set shoppers back £40.

Another eBay seller managed to snag a bundle of items and has priced a body butter, two miniature perfume oils and a shampoo for £100.

And if you want the merchandise to be kept inside, shoppers can get their hands on a vintage make-up bag from the brand for £69.99, along with a few badges to decorate it with.

It comes after the chain released a statement responding to the recent news, i.eIt said that 'administrators will now consider all options to find a way forward for the company and will inform creditors and employees in due course'.

The company will continue to do business both in-store and online as plans are made for the future of the much-loved high street brand.

The struggling chain – which has faced stiff competition from the likes of millennials and Gen Z-friendly bath bomb purveyors Lush and luxury brand Rituals – had also just shuttered its Avon-style home business division, The Body Shop At Home.

FRP said: 'The Body Shop has suffered an extended period of financial challenges under previous owners, coinciding with a difficult trading environment for the wider retail sector.

'After taking swift action over the past month, including the closure of The Body Shop At Home and the sale of our business in most of Europe and parts of Asia, focusing on the UK business is the next important step in the restructuring of The Body Shop.'

The administrators added: 'The Body Shop continues to be guided by its ambition to be a modern, dynamic beauty brand, relevant to customers and able to compete for the long term.

'Creating a more agile and financially stable UK business is an important step in achieving this.'

As well as threatening thousands of jobs, the news could also spell trouble for the many suppliers of Body Shop goods around the world, which have been carefully sourced by the ethically minded company for decades.

The company was founded in 1976 by the late Dame Anita Roddick and became famous for its no-nonsense ethical trading ethos and refusal to test products on animals.

Popular products that helped establish the brand include bath bombs, White Musk fragrance and hemp hand cream.

However, recent years have seen its popularity with shoppers in Britain decline due to the rise of rivals Lush, Holland and Barrett, and a growing online market of cheaper alternatives.

The company also fell out of favor with some buyers after it was sold to L'Oréal by Dame Anita for £675 million in 2006 – a move that stunned many who saw the sale to a major company as contrary to the company's values .

The Body Shop changed hands again in 2017 when the French cosmetics giant sold it to Brazilian cosmetics manufacturer Natura&Co for €1 billion.

It was then bought by private equity firm Aurelius for £207 million just weeks ago.

Following the purchase of the brand, Aurelius said that 'despite the challenging retail market, there is an opportunity to reinvigorate the business so that it can benefit from positive trends in the fast-growing beauty market.'

But the move to keep pace with the likes of Lush and Rituals has also seen the company seemingly move away from its roots as a benefactor.

Bethenny Frankel is a self-proclaimed drugstore queen. The mogul prefers to buy affordable cosmetics from her local CVS and Walgreens, although she recently relented TikTok that she is a snob when it comes to perfume. “I'm not someone who runs to the drugstore to get a fragrance,” she explained in the clip. Perfume is one of the few beauty products she believes is worth a splurge. However, her current goal is Future Society Haunted Rose Eau de Parfum — is relatively inexpensive compared to other high-quality fragrances.

One beauty fan was left completely baffled as she browsed the aisles of her local Home Bargains when she noticed new Jeffo & Co perfumes.

Delighted with her finds, Rebecca Flynn took to social media to warn other shoppers.

Post on Extreme Coupons and Bargains UKa private Facebook group with a whopping 2.4 million members, Rebecca shared a get it of her new Jeff Banks Temptation perfume.

Alongside the photo of her purchase, the product bargain hunter wrote: “I bought this from Home Bargains for £4.99.

“Yesterday I wore it to work and my colleague thought I had a Tom Ford perfume.

“So definitely a bargain. I think there were two other scents, but I haven't tried them yet.”

Rebecca later confirmed that she had found the cheap perfume on the shelf next one to the face washes.

When it comes to the longevity of this feminine scent, Rebecca claimed, “Mine lasted about three to four hours, so not all day, but would be good for a night out.”

According to perfume fans, Rebecca's new perfume smells incredibly similar to Tom Ford Black Orchid.

So if you can't justify spending $125 on a perfume, you'll be happy to know that you'll save $120 with this great value purchase.

But there are also three other perfumes to choose from. According to perfume fans, the Jeff & Co Seduction scent is strikingly similar to the Givenchy L'interdit scent.

Moreover, perfume lovers describe the scent of Blush as a scent similar to the scent of Miss Dior by Dior.

And if that's not enough, there's another scent in the collection called Lush, which is supposed to smell like Armani Si.

Rebecca only shared her post 21 hours ago, but it has clearly made an impression on many as it has quickly amassed 233 likes and 92 comments.

Social media users were left agape about the bargain dupe purchases and many were keen to express this in the comments.
