XBOX is updating its game library to add new games to the platform and say goodbye to some of the old ones.

In most months, fans are happy with this change and get more games to play, while the games that go away tend not to be as popular.

The games leaving Xbox Game Pass each month tend to be older games with more recent versions of smaller games that only a handful of people play.

However, in March, Xbox dropped the bombshell that the 86-rated Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch would be leaving Game Pass.

Ni no Kuni is a JRPG developed by Level 5 and created in collaboration with art from the excellent Studio Ghibli.

It is highly regarded in the gaming community, and with only two weeks to go when its departure was announced, players thought they would not have time to complete this excellent game.

Fans took to social media to express their disappointment that Ni no Kuni would be leaving Game Pass, and it appears Xbox has heard their cries.

Although Xbox has not made an official announcement, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will no longer appear on the list of games leaving Game Pass this month.

When the new Xbox Game Pass games were revealed, Xbox said three games would be leaving the service on March 15.

However, Xbox’s official blog, Xbox Wire, has changed the announcement so that only two games will be removed.

Players will still be saying goodbye to Hardspace: Shipbreaker and Shredders on March 15, but Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will no longer appear on the list.

This means that Xbox has reconsidered the game’s departure and it will be available on Xbox Game Pass in the near future.

Of course, this doesn’t mean Ni no Kuni will be available on the subscription service forever, but we do know it will be playable for at least another month.

Those interested in playing Ni no Kuni should do so now to avoid disappointment in the future.

To read more about the service, check out the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in March.

  • The blackout is the latest in a series of technical issues across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Reddit

Slack, the popular team communications platform, was offline Monday evening, with hundreds of reports of users unable to send or receive messages.

Disruption tracking website Downdetector received more than 870 reports as of 6 p.m.

The vast majority involved issues accessing the Slack application. Other users reported issues with the platform’s server connectivity and website.

The problem was resolved about 45 minutes later.

In July 2023, an hours-long outage left users around the world unable to message each other.

Monday’s blackout is the latest in a series of outages on popular platforms.

Last week, Instagram, Facebook and its companion app Messenger experienced a major outage.

The platforms were offline for at least two and a half hours on Tuesday, sending hundreds of thousands of users into panic mode as they struggled to log into their accounts.

A source told DailyMail.com that Meta’s internal systems were down at the time its service dashboard showed “major disruptions” to many of its services.

Andy Stone, Meta’s communications director, posted a statement on social media almost two hours after users first reported problems.

“Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services,” Stone wrote. “We have resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone affected, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.”

He declined to comment on the nature of the technical problem.

A day later, on March 6, networking platform LinkedIn crashed, causing tens of thousands of users to receive an error message when they tried to log in.

According to Downdetector, the message first appeared around 9 p.m.

LinkedIn announced about an hour later that it was “back up and running” and apologized for the service outage.

The next day, dozens of Reddit users complained that the site had gone offline around 2 p.m.

It was the second problem the site encountered in just a few hours. Around 11 a.m. the same day, Reddit was loading slowly and experiencing “intermittent glitches.”

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the network said it was investigating an issue that was “causing intermittent issues and slow loading times for users.”

The outage affected users around the world, including those in Germany, the United Kingdom and Canada, but most reports came from the United States.

Reddit saw an increased number of incidents since February 22, with at least three occurring since then.

Dear Diary:

I dropped my left earbud on the subway platform in Times Square. It bounced twice and then fell onto the rails.

I didn’t want to buy a replacement if I didn’t have to, so I went to the guy in the coin booth upstairs.

I’m ashamed to even tell you this, I said, but my earbud is on the uptown Q track.

You’re the sixteenth person today, he said, dialing his phone. Come back in half an hour.

When I did, there it was.

Dear Diary:

I was in the habit of taking walks in Carl Schurz Park on early summer mornings, when the sun cast a beautiful orange glow over the quiet East River promenade.

My walk was identical every day. What also became routine was seeing the same older man sitting on the same couch every morning. He held a flat tweed cap in his hands and always stared wistfully at the water.

One morning I decided to talk to him.

“Hi,” I said, walking over to the couch where he was sitting.

He looked up.

“How are you?” he said.

“I don’t mean to bother you, but I see you here every day,” I said.

“Is that correct?” he said.

“And if you don’t mind me asking, I was wondering why you were sitting on the same bench?”

He turned away with a deep sigh.

“My wife and I sat on this bench together for 51 years,” he said.

“Oh,” I said, with a bad feeling. “I’m sorry.”

“And for some bizarre reason she likes to sit there now,” he said, gesturing to a woman twenty feet away to our left.

Dear Diary:

It was 1981 and I was working in an office building in Lower Manhattan.

After 5pm the door from the lobby to Broadway closed and we had to leave through the Irish pub to the back of the building. This happened very often.

Depending on the day of the week and the general mood, some of us stayed for a few drinks before heading home. The bartenders got to know us.

At the time, I was living in Bergen County with my family and our young boxer sister. At one point I mentioned Sis to Brian, one of the bartenders. He told me he loved boxers and had them growing up, but he hadn’t seen one in years.

One Friday I heard that Brian would be working a rare Saturday shift the next afternoon.

I put Sis in our car and drove to Manhattan, parked in front of the pub and went inside to tell Brian I had a surprise for him.

The place was empty, so he came outside with me and I let Sis get out of the car. Brian was thrilled. He stroked and hugged sister with tears in his eyes.

Suddenly he got up, went inside, came back after taking off his work clothes, locked himself up and we went for a walk with sister.

Dear Diary:

I was walking along West End Avenue early one weekend in November.

The fresh morning sunlight reflected off the facades of the apartments and shone on the red leaves of the trees. The sky was a pristine deep blue and even though the air was cold, or perhaps because of it, the day seemed full of energy.

At one point a doorman walked out of a building right in front of me. He seemed to have a spring in his step, humming a light tune to himself as he waltzed to the curb.

As he surveyed the block, an older woman, likely a tenant of the building, approached the entrance at a slow, deliberate pace. Her eyes were two steps down, in front of her feet. It seemed she hadn’t caught the energy in the autumn air.

The doorman saw her, smiled and waved.

“Come on!” he screamed. “Turbo mode!”

‘What do you mean?’ she shouted back, without changing her pace one bit. “This is turbo mode!”

Dear Diary:

It happened in the 1970s. I drove east on 57th Street toward Carnegie Hall, where I had to play drums for a jazz dance class.

As I approached Seventh Avenue, I saw a familiar person standing at the bus stop. It was Zero Mostel.

I walked up to him and said I was a fan of him and his films.

He thanked me.

I asked if he did anything.

He looked at me and smiled.

“Yes,” he said. “I’m waiting for a bus.”

Cheshire East Council served the 51-year-old with an enforcement notice in 2014, saying the properties had been built “without planning permission”.

Officials also condemned the homeowner for ignoring “all other legal action by the municipality to have the property removed.”

The furious father appealed, but this was rejected in 2017.

Then in October 2022, Merrill was given until May 3 of the following year to destroy the buildings, including a viewing platform and paved areas.

He was also instructed to restore the land to its original state after construction.

What are your rights?

Building Permit Guidelines according to gov.uk

If you want to build something new, make a major change to your building or change the purpose of your building, for example if you want to start a business, you will need a building permit.

To find out if you need a building permit, please contact your Local Planning Authority through your municipality.

If the building permit is refused, you can do so appeal.

You can appeal if you are refused planning permission for reasons you believe are contrary to the LPA's development plan or planning policy (these can usually be found on their website).

You can also appeal if you have received a building permit with conditions to which you object. You must explain why you think they are unnecessary, unenforceable, vague, unreasonable or irrelevant.

Another reason for an appeal is if the LPA has not given you a decision on your application and eight weeks have passed since the date they told you they received the application (or if any other time period that you agreed with them has passed agreed).

In a bitter planning battle that lasted a decade, Merrill was taken to the High Court in Manchester early this year after failing to comply with these orders.

A judge ordered the father to demolish his family home within a year.

He was also slapped with a 12-month suspended prison sentence for contempt of court.

The reeling homeowner has been given until January 2025 to demolish the property and must vacate the land by July this year.

Cheshire East Council also received £17,409, in addition to £21,000 in costs from previous hearings.

My millionaire neighbor turned our village into a 'battlefield' after a hedge blocked the 8 meter view – now I have the last laugh

A council spokesman said: “He claimed he had the right to 'live on the land' and that the Planning Act did not apply to him and his wife. This was rejected by the judge.”

Councilor Mick Warren, chairman of the Environment and Communities Committee, said: “We don't want people being sent to prison for planning crimes.

'Action to obtain an injunction and a petition for contempt of court are a last resort.

“However, where parties show no respect for the planning process in the event of an unacceptable and inappropriate development, the council has no choice but to take legal action and in this case the property owners were given significant time to comply. with planning rules.

“It is regrettable that the council had to take this action. Hopefully the prospect of a 12-month prison sentence will lead to compliance.

“The council has incurred significant costs and officer time in this matter and this could have been invested in other areas within the council services.

“It was important to ensure compliance with planning law.”

The Sun has contacted Cheshire East Council for comment.

It comes after a man embroiled in a bitter council row was forced to destroy his £25,000 garden or face a prison sentence.

Richard Hickson paid £5,000 for a patch of grass next to his garden in Istead Rise, near Gravesend, Kent, and built a six-foot privacy fence around it.

The father-of-two created the extra space for his five- and eight-year-old daughters and donated a further £20,000 to perfect it.

But now his “sanctuary” will have to be opened to the public.

Despite not receiving any complaints from Kent County Council for five years, the 37-year-old is now being threatened with “a fine, jail or both” if he does not take down the fence.

Meanwhile, another homeowner who spent £100,000 on a luxury treehouse is “heartbroken” after being told he may have to demolish it.

John Kitson built the one-bed hut in private woodland in Morval, Cornwall to create “the perfect hideaway”.

But Kitson is now faced with the prospect of demolishing the treehouse after becoming embroiled in a planning war with Cornwall Council.

He promoted his treetop holiday online as a glamping destination, but when the council saw the advert they claimed it posed an illegal safety risk.

What are your rights regarding retroactive building permits?

A local planning authority may submit an application retroactively Government.uk.

You must submit your application as soon as possible.

Although a local planning authority may submit an application, do not assume that permission will be granted.

A person who has undertaken an unauthorized development has only one option to obtain planning permission after the event. This can be done through a retroactive planning application or through an appeal against an enforcement order, on the grounds that planning permission should be granted or that conditions should be removed.

The local planning authority may retrospectively refuse a planning application if an enforcement notice has previously been issued.

An appeal cannot be lodged if a retroactive enforcement notice is issued within the period for assessing a planning application

Shirts exclusive to Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games Store were just announced, so it makes sense that these two shirts will be exclusive to PlayStation and Nintendo.

In any case, this finding seems to confirm that Hi-Fi Rush will come to other platforms, but whether other games will also participate is still unknown.

In addition to the original rumor group, some people are now saying that heavy hitters like Starfield and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could be coming to other platforms as well.

Xbox players have not reacted well to the news, believing that it could spell the end of Xbox as a console.

They see this move as Microsoft reduces its support for Xbox consoles and the company focuses on games in the future.

One user changed the spelling of the Metacritic review: “I originally gave Hi-Fi Rush a 10/10, but I have to formally retract my perfect score.

“This is because the data breach confirms that the game is no longer exclusive to the Xbox and PC platforms.

“As Xbox loyalists, we've spent our time and money making Xbox the best place to play games, and let's make our most beloved titles available on developing world consoles.

“Horrible news for Xbox gamers and the industry as a whole. Shame on Phil Spencer and his company.”

Another user said on Twitter: “I wouldn't be shocked if class action lawsuits came out of this whole Xbox mess.

“If everything said is true, then Xbox deliberately and directly misled and falsely advertised to consumers.

“Seems pretty cut and dry to me.”

It seems like Xbox fans are extremely against this change, even though Xbox's motto has long been to give more people more ways to play.

The Boys star Erin Moriarty returned to Instagram on Friday — just a week after leaving the platform and promising an “extended, if not permanent, hiatus.”

Her decision to leave the social media network came after Megyn Kelly scathingly accused Moriarty of being obsessed with plastic surgery.

'She has the Kim Kardashian lips, she made her nose so thin it now looks like a pencil,” Kelly said. “I think it's a sign of a mental illness.”

Moriarty, 29, retaliated by dramatically announcing her departure from Instagram, explaining that she was not deleting her page but would stop posting because the public had “lost the privilege of this account.”

But this Friday, she relented and posted an Insta Stories post, expressing her gratitude to the “vulnerable” fans who “came forward to talk to me” and “share stories that should be heard WAY more than mine.'

The caption was accompanied by a photo of her cradling one of her dogs while shooting a blissful smile at the camera.

She began her message to fans by explaining that she “came in to say 1) I love you all, 2) and grateful to be able to hold my little guy again.”

Moriarty added, “and 3) those who came forward to talk to me were vulnerable enough to share: You are fucking amazing. stories that should be heard WAY more than mine. I believe we still have a long way to go. meanwhile, talk to me.”

The Jessica Jones alumna insisted, “I want to hear it. safe zones, empathy and/or sympathy, and catharsis: a healing combo. believe me.'

Moriarty announced her first departure from Instagram, a week after Kelly sparked backlash with a recent podcast episode in which she took aim at Moriarty's appearance.

Moriarty opted not to deactivate her Instagram account entirely so fans could still see her scathing message to 53-year-old Megyn Kelly.

She told fans and haters alike that they had “lost the privilege of this account.”

The actress wrote, “The only reason I haven't deactivated my account is because I left this here. Otherwise, consider it deactivated.

“I won't have access to it for an extended, if not permanent, hiatus.

'Social media does not come naturally to me and it was an energy investment to get in touch with you.

“And I am shocked by the response, the reductive assumptions and the aforementioned video [of Kelly’s comments] that is a primary example of such harassment.

'It broke my heart. You broke my heart. You have lost the privilege of this account.

'I will not accept the way this has been discussed, the way I have been spoken to. I have been in a hole and consumed by this personal situation.

“You never know what someone is going through, social media is a platform that is not representative of a whole person, and either way there is no excuse for the words spoken directly to me or about me.”

Actress Erin Moriarty recently shared this image on her Instagram, leading to accusations from Megyn Kelly that she “completely changed her face” with plastic surgery. In response, Moriarty said the photo was taken ten years ago and that her changed appearance was only due to “contouring.”

Moriarty shared the response nearly a week after Kelly's controversial podcast comments, saying she had “no idea what was going on” amid the social media frenzy as she endured “one of the most challenging weeks of my life.”

“And I specifically thought that when I emerged from this period — so stressed that I've barely been able to eat and sleep — I thought, OK, I'm going to emerge this 10 pounds thinner and the verbal abuse/accusations are going to fly,” she went Through.

While Moriarty said she expected viewers to suspect she was on drugs or hit her with “a flippant 'just eat a burger' comment,” she was stunned by the hostile response that came instead.

“You learn to become Teflon and move on – I had NO idea what was going on this time,” she said in the post.

“To receive a message about a disgustingly false, counterproductive, in a way ironically misogynistic video of Megyn Kelly commenting on the way (sic) – to learn the widespread nature of this has horrified me.”

Although Kelly claimed in her appearance that the image of Moriarty, which the actress recently shared on her Instagram before deleting it, was from “a year ago,” Moriarty said it was actually much older.

Moriarty shared the response nearly a week after Kelly's controversial podcast comments, saying she had “no idea what was going on” amid the social media frenzy as she endured “one of the most challenging weeks of my life.”

She said the photo was “actually taken about ten years ago before I was of legal drinking age,” and called on Kelly to “maybe do some research that would take 30 seconds.”

“It's appalling how completely uninformed, inaccurate and clickbait-seeking the people we follow and consider informed are,” Moriarty said in the angry post, which contained a number of grammatical errors.

The comments in question came on Kelly's podcast with journalist Michael Knowles earlier this month, where she accused Moriarty of “completely changing her face” with plastic surgery.

She made the comments in response to Moriarty sharing the supposedly decade-old photo this month, while Kelly continued: “She has Kim Kardashian's lips. She has made her nose so thin that it now resembles a pencil.

“She has something like what seems[s] for me it's cheek implants.

'More and more young women are doing this.

'It's not about an objection to plastic surgery, it's about an obsession with turning yourself into a fake version of yourself… I think it's a sign of a mental illness.

'It's extremely disturbing. It's just a huge turn off for me. “I really want to get into the heads of these young girls and say, 'Please don't do this,'” she said.

Isn't it funny how trends always come back into style? The clothes I wore growing up—low-rise jeans, baguette bags, and butterfly clips, to name a few—are popular again, and honestly, my inner child couldn't be happier. But even though I'm ecstatic about those revivals, there is one item in particular […]

The Ugg Capitella cruciate strap Sandals are the dreams of any self-respecting '90s kid. We wore very similar sandals to pretty much every event: recitals, concerts, parties, shopping, on dates, and pretty much anywhere else we could get away with it. Only these sandals have the same tread you'd expect from Ugg boots these days, and the shoe's upper isn't made of, well, the same fabric that would rub our feet until we got blisters.

These sandals are made of full-grain cowhide leather and are easy to put on. They have a cross strap and the Ugg logo is stamped on the bottom of the shoe. There is even a goatskin lining.

However, when you look at the silhouette, these sandals are undeniably the spiritual successor to the famous '90s cool girl sandals we all had. And if you're as excited as some of them Us are about bringing back the 90s, you almost have to buy a pair of these bad boys.
