Princess Beatrice was the epitome of smart casual chic as she attended Poppy Delevingne's Della Vite Valentine's Day lunch on Thursday.

Beatrice, 35, pulled off the granny chic aesthetic as she donned a gray sweater vest over a white shirt for the chic lunch at The Ivy Chelsea Garden.

The royal completed her ensemble with a long gray pleated wool skirt and black tights.

The mother-of-one styled her long locks in a sleek center parting and she opted for an understated, natural makeup look.

Beatrice caused a storm at the star-studded lunch with Pixie Geldof, Poppy Jamie, Phoebe Vela Hitchcox and Dean Piper.

Ahead of Valentine's Day, The Ivy has teamed up with Della Vite Prosecco Rosé to pair with a romantic set menu.

Della Vite is a range of award-winning, vegan Proseccos, founded by sisters Poppy, Chloe and Cara Delevingne.

Their mother Pandora went to school with Fergie and is one of the Duchess's lifelong friends, mentoring her when her marriage to Prince Andrew collapsed.

Their daughters are close and Poppy attended Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank in 2018, along with her sisters Chloe and Cara.

Today's outing marked the first time Beatrice has been seen in public since it emerged her mother, Sarah Ferguson, was diagnosed with cancer for the second time.

Last month it was announced that the Duchess of York was diagnosed with malignant melanoma just months after treatment for breast cancer.

The 64-year-old underwent breast surgery for cancer last year, with insiders saying it was 'not an easy time' for her.

The mother of two children had a number of moles removed during breast reconstruction last year, one of which turned out to be malignant.

The Duchess, Prince Andrew's ex-wife, was described as “in good spirits” after the “disturbing” news, which she was told just days after Christmas.

Via an Instagram post, she revealed that she was now taking some time for herself, having been diagnosed after several moles were removed during reconstructive surgery following her mastectomy in June.

Earlier today, Sarah Ferguson took to Instagram to share her first post since telling her followers about her skin cancer diagnosis.

The diagnosis has “made her think about her life and mortality,” a source recently claimed.

The Duchess marked LGBTQ+ History Month by posting a photo of her impressive collection of glittering rainbow headbands.

“In honor of the 2024 theme #UnderTheScope, I would like to express my gratitude to the incredible work of LQBTQ+ contributions to healthcare and medicine,” she wrote in her caption.

Socialite Poppy O’Neil and her billionaire husband Anthony Tzaneros have reportedly spent $25 million on a spectacular mansion in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Located in Bellevue Hill, 5km from the CBD, the sprawling eight-bedroom, five-bathroom home went under the hammer after being listed for $23 million.

And the eye-watering purchase comes as the couple are still waiting for a buyer for their stunning five-bedroom, four-bathroom property nearby.

The beautiful split-level home, also located in Bellevue Hill, which the couple extensively renovated, failed to sell for $17.5 million at auction this week, according to a report. The Sydney Morning Herald.

Meanwhile, the couple’s new purchase, situated on a high point in the prestigious district known as the ‘dress Circle’, offers stunning harbor views.

Built in the 1990s, the 1,360 square meter, two-storey property has an ultra-modern design with extensive gardens.

Built on what were originally two separate blocks, the opulent home also features a grand entrance with a high ceiling, limestone floors and skylights.

There is also a 19 meter swimming pool, a private ‘parents’ retreat’, two secluded guest apartments and a home office with its own entrance.

Acid was named a beloved ‘It couple’ by Tatler, aristos’ style magazine, after I first revealed their relationship.

But now, I’m afraid to say, socialite Poppy Delevingne and Prince Constantijn Alexios of Greece and Denmark are simply not ‘It’ anymore.

Just over a year after I first reported on their romance, I can now reveal that the pair have split, although a source close to them says it’s completely amicable, adding: ‘They’re just in different phases of their lives. There’s no animosity.’

There is a twelve-year age difference between 37-year-old Poppy and her blue-blooded toyboy, affectionately known to his friends as Tino. But that didn’t seem to matter as they threw themselves into their relationship, going on each other’s glamorous family vacations and working on glitzy projects together.

But now 25-year-old Tino – godson of the Prince of Wales – has moved to Los Angeles to attend film school, which may have had an impact on their relationship. And ironically, Poppy – supermodel Cara’s older sister – may have helped him get there. She had been his muse for an artistic promotional film he made this summer for the Venezuelan fashion designer Carolina Herrera.

The pair enjoyed their time together with Poppy and even joined Tino and other members of the defunct Greek royal family in Ibiza this summer. Poppy also spent time with Tino’s sister Princess Olympia in the Ralph Lauren suite at Wimbledon in July.

Poppy remains on good terms with James, 44, who she married in a lavish Knightsbridge ceremony in 2014. He is now happily in love with singer-songwriter Emma Deigman, 35, who performs under the name Edei.

Poppy and Tino declined to comment last night.

In love Hayley

Hollywood star Hayley Atwell has made a strange confession about her love life: she’s attracted to people who make her feel sick.

The 41-year-old Mission: Impossible actress, who is engaged to actor Ned Wolfgang Kelly, told author Jessie Burton about the property for a video for the National Gallery.

“I have this weird feeling of being a little attracted to people who also make me throw up a little bit because I know they’re untrustworthy,” she said.

Hayley, left, was previously linked to her co-star Tom Cruise – but she couldn’t allude to one of the nicest men in Hollywood, could she?

Meghan Markle may have given up her life in Britain, but she still found a moving way to pay tribute to British veterans on Friday when she stepped out with a poppy brooch, which is worn as a show of support for the armed forces.

The 42-year-old wore the brooch as she stepped out for lunch and a quick shopping trip with her model pal Kelly McKee Zajfen in Montecito late last week, making the most of the warm California weather by wearing a pair of chic cargo shorts and a simple pair of black ballerinas.

She paired the shorts with a black sweater, to which she attached her poppy pin, which she wore on the left breast of the garment, a position meant to signify the act of holding fallen veterans close to your heart.

Meghan completed the ensemble with glamorous sunglasses and a thin black belt, and she was seen carrying a large black and white striped bag over one shoulder, while her long brunette locks were pulled back into a casual ponytail.

The outing took place just one day before Remembrance Day in the UK and Veterans Day in the US, an emotional occasion that both Meghan and Harry marked earlier this week when they met with military veterans and their families at Camp Pendleton in San Diego on Wednesday.

Prince Harry, 39, who was stripped of his honorary military titles when he quit his role as a working royal, and Meghan both wore Royal British Legion poppies for the occasion – as they did the next day when they presented the ribbon to a new gym cutting center for veterans at the location.

But on Friday, Meghan’s husband was nowhere to be seen as she enjoyed a girls’ lunch with Kelly — the co-founder of an organization called Alliance of Moms — who was seen carrying a white paper bag of leftovers as the couple left Montecito eatery Pane . e Vino.

Described as the ‘first authentic Italian restaurant’ in the area, the restaurant serves a range of seasonal daily specials, as well as a selection of handmade pasta dishes, including farfalle with fresh salmon and rigatoni pomodoro.

After their lunch date, the two women headed to the nearby Wendy Foster ‘luxury women’s clothing boutique’, where Meghan has reportedly shopped in the past – as she was only seen there last October.

Meghan appeared to be in good spirits during the outing, beaming from ear to ear as she and her friend made their way to the Duchess’s waiting Range Rover – accompanied by a burly security guard.

The two women – who were both carrying a brown paper Wendy Foster shopping bag – were seen chatting and laughing with each other, seemingly without a care in the world.

Wendy Foster, a boutique Meghan visited with the same friend in October, sells a range of high-end clothing brands, including AG Jeans and Nili Lotan.

It marked a much more carefree moment for the Duchess, who met with US military veterans earlier this week with her husband, with a statement from their foundation, Archewell, revealing that the couple “spent the morning with veterans and active duty.” members and their loved ones at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California.

The pair were pictured with about a dozen people at a discussion table learning about the work of Operation Bigs, a mentoring program established in 2004, according to Archewell.

The program connects military children and families with others who have gone through similar experiences.

Developed by Camp Pendleton, it has served more than 3,000 Navy and Marine Corps children over the past nine years, according to Archewell, and has expanded to more than 30 member organizations across the country.

Harry served in the British Army for 10 years – including two tours of Afghanistan – and has a long personal bond with the military, a bond he has made great efforts to maintain even after leaving royal life.

He and Meghan have spent previous Veterans Days at military sites: in 2021 they were at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey and in 2020 they visited a military cemetery in Los Angeles.

After visiting Camp Pendleton, Meghan and Harry then traveled to downtown San Diego to open a new gym for Navy SEALs and veterans injured in combat.

The 20,000-square-foot Warrior Fitness Program West Coast Facility is the second location to open, following the launch of a facility in Virginia Beach in 2017.

The foundation has helped more than 800 active-duty active-duty and experienced SEALs and fighter jet crews – and both locations now have advanced technology, equipment and personnel designed to aid in physical and mental recovery, according to The Times of San Diego.

“We are thrilled to have the Duke and Duchess here,” said Tony Duynstee, a former SEAL speaking on behalf of the SEAL Foundation.

‘It is a great honor for them to be here for the commissioning.’

Poppy Delevingne stunned in a rose gold sequined evening dress on Saturday as she hosted a dinner to celebrate the anniversary of her brand Prosecco.

The model, 37, hosted a glamorous bash at IHG’s InterContinental Hotel on London’s chic Park Lane, along with a host of celebrity guests.

Poppy looked glamorous in the shimmery one, which was held up by tiny straps and clung to her slim figure, while the nude color flattered her flawless skin.

She opted for a sleek half-up, half-down hairstyle and styled her iconic Delevingne blonde locks in light waves.

Poppy celebrated the third anniversary of her vegan Prosecco brand Della Vite with the InterContinental London Park Lane as part of their Incredible Occasion series.

Eldest Delevingne sister Chloe, 38, wowed in a fireworks-style jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and flared trousers as she attended the event with her husband Edward Grant, who she married in 2014.

Meanwhile, Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark – who dated Peregrine Pearson before he was spotted cuddling newly single Sophie Turner – was in a tight black maxi dress.

The beautiful royal, who is the goddaughter of King Charles, showed off her lithe torso in the figure-hugging black dress as she styled her hair in a chic bob.

Model Cara did not appear to be present at the event.

Poppy’s close friend Lady Mary Charteris stunned in a pale yellow ensemble, which showed off her ripped physique and toned stomach.

It comes after Poppy shared photos from her late summer holiday with her new boyfriend Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece, 24, who is 13 years her junior.

She has enjoyed a blossoming relationship with the Alexios – a member of the non-reigning Greek royal family – since the breakdown of her eight-year marriage to businessman James Cook.

The new couple seemingly took the next step in their relationship; enjoying a family vacation with his mother, 54-year-old Crown Princess Marie Chantal of Greece.

In February, the model was spotted with Constantine during a joint walk in West London.

Despite the 12-year age gap between Poppy and Constantine – known to his friends as Tino – it is believed they have been enjoying each other’s company for some time.

Constantine, once Europe’s most eligible royal bachelor, is the eldest son and second child of Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece.

He is also the grandson of the late Greek King Constantine II, a cousin of King Charles and one of Prince William’s five godparents.

He remains close to the royal family and is said to be William’s godson.

Meanwhile, Tino, son of Crown Prince and Princess Pavlos, is often considered one of Europe’s most eligible royal bachelors.

Rumors began to circulate about the state of affairs surrounding Poppy’s marriage since James, 43, resigned in January as director of her company, Poppy Delevingne Limited, the company that files the accounts for her ‘photographic activities’.

Poppy and James, who work for his family’s aerospace company, tied the knot in a church ceremony in Knightsbridge in 2014, with sisters, top model Cara and Chloe, among her many bridesmaids.

Exes James and Poppy have not publicly discussed their split, but are said to have called time on their union early last year.

King Charles has paid tribute to Britain’s war dead as he led the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph this morning.

The monarch led a two-minute silence and laid the first wreath in front of the Cenotaph. The Prince of Wales was among the senior royals standing behind him and also laid a wreath.

Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales watched on from an overlooking balcony.

Senior politicians including Rishi Sunak, Sir Keir Starmer, Sir Ed Davey, James Cleverly and Suella Braverman assembled near the Cenotaph. Behind them were former prime ministers Liz Truss, Boris Johnson, David Cameron, Gordon Brown, Theresa May, Sir Tony Blair and Sir John Major.

Ms Braverman attended the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph this morning amid intensifying calls for her to be sacked after violence broke out during a pro-Palestinian march in London yesterday.

The Met Police made more than 100 arrests during the march and officers were injured by far-right thugs after the Home Secretary branded the Gaza rally a ‘hate march’ and accused Scotland Yard of bias for letting it go ahead.

Keir Starmer and Sadiq Khan have stepped up calls for Ms Braverman to be sacked. There is speculation over a reshuffle later this week – potentially after a crunch Rwanda policy judgment on Wednesday.

A large crowd of people descended on Whitehall today for Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph.

There was a strong police presence, with officers lining both sides of the road and standing sentry centre around the monument.

Wreaths of poppies were taken through the gates of Downing Street ahead of the service at the Cenotaph.

Some 10,000 veterans and 800 armed forces personnel members from all three services marched past as crowds of onlookers clapped them as they arrived.

Members of the Royal Navy were stationed outside the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office building on Whitehall, and a band from his Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth played for the crowd.

A group of Royal British Legion trustees stood at the front of a large group of people, stretching back down Whitehall. Members of the Gurkha Brigade Association were among those gathered behind them.

Nine D-day veterans are due to participate in the Remembrance Day service with the oldest being Joe Randall, 100, who marched with the Spirit of Normandy Trust.

Massed Bands and Pipers assembled and were playing in the rain at the Cenotaph.

The King led a two-minute silence and laid a wreath in front of the Cenotaph.

The Prince of Wales was among senior royals standing behind him and also laid a wreath. The Queen and Princess of Wales watched on from an overlooking balcony.

Wearing the uniform of The Marshal of the Royal Air Force with greatcoat, poppy and sword, Charles laid a wreath similar to the one produced for King George VI.

The wreath features 41 open style poppy petals made from bonded fabric, hard-wearing paper.

It is mounted on an arrangement of black leaves – traditional for sovereign’s wreaths – of 27-inch diameter ribbon and bow using the colours from The King’s racing silk – scarlet, purple and gold, Buckingham Palace said.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was among senior politicians who have laid a wreath at the Cenotaph.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and Home Secretary Suella Braverman also who rook part in the ceremony.

Earlier, rainfall stopped before the King led the nation in a two-minute silence.

A wreath was laid at the Cenotaph for the Queen by Major Ollie Plunket, The Rifles, equerry to Camilla.

The Queen viewed the Remembrance Day service from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office centre balcony, alongside the Princess of Wales.

Camilla’s wreath closely resembled the wreath produced for the Queen Mother, Buckingham Palace said.

The Duke of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal also laid wreaths at the Cenotaph.

The large crowd of onlookers watching the Remembrance Day ceremony in Whitehall sang God Save The King.

Charles then exited Whitehall back into the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office building, followed by senior royals including the Prince of Wales.

Senior politicians including Rishi Sunak, Sir Keir Starmer and former prime ministers followed.

The service came after the Metropolitan Police said it made 126 arrests after far-right groups gathered to ‘protect the Cenotaph’ from a major pro-Palestine march during Armistice day on Saturday.

Nine officers were injured after they were pelted with bottles, cans and metal fences while preventing a crowd of mainly far-right football hooligans from reaching the Cenotaph.

Scuffles broke out as police attempted to stop a crowd of people carrying St George’s flags marching along Embankment towards Whitehall, where the Cenotaph is located, shortly after 10am.

The group, which had been chanting ‘England ’til I die’ pushed through the police barrier, with some shouting ‘let’s have them’ as officers hit out with batons.

Further clashes with police took place in Chinatown with counter-protesters chanting: ‘You’re not English any more’ towards officers.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the ugly scenes on Armistice Day ‘utterly disrespects’ the spirit of remembrance. He said he would meet Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley to hold him ‘accountable’ for dealing with the disturbances.

Pictures showed rival groups of demonstrators clashing in Trafalgar Square, with one counter-protester seen wielding a stick – as Michael Gove was hassled by pro-Palestinians shouting ‘shame on you’ as he tried to leave Victoria station.

Mr Sunak said in a statement: ‘I condemn the violent, wholly unacceptable scenes we have seen today from the EDL (English Defence League) and associated groups and Hamas sympathisers attending the National March for Palestine. The despicable actions of a minority of people undermine those who have chosen to express their views peacefully.’

He said their actions do ‘not defend the honour of our Armed Forces, but utterly disrespects them’, adding: ‘That is true for EDL thugs attacking police officers and trespassing on the Cenotaph, and it is true for those singing antisemitic chants and brandishing pro-Hamas signs and clothing on today’s protest.’

Mr Sunak said he would be meeting the Met chief, adding: ‘All criminality must be met with the full and swift force of the law.

‘That is what I told the Met Police Commissioner on Wednesday, that is what they are accountable for and that is what I expect.’

Meanwhile, an emotional King Charles was last night joined by a host of high-profile royals as statues of his late parents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were unveiled at a special festival of remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

The life-sized bronze artworks, commemorating the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh’s dedication to the Royal Albert Hall, were erected as part of the building’s 150th anniversary.

Charles was joined by Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales at the Royal British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance, with Kate wearing one of the late Queen’s pearl necklaces.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent were also in attendance.

As they took their seats, Charles was seen waving to the packed hall.

Mr Sunak observed the event from a box to the left of the royals alongside his wife Akshata Murty while Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer sat in a separate box to the right with his wife Lady Victoria.

The event saw the King unveil the statue of his late mother, while Camilla pulled back the curtain on the bust of Prince Philip.

Upon arriving, Charles and Camilla shook hands with two men before they revealed the statues for the first time.

After a countdown of three, Camilla pulled on a golden rope and red velvet curtains revealed the bronze statue of Prince Philip.

Then Charles did the same and unveiled the statue of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September 2022.

Artworks of Queen Victoria and her husband, Prince Albert, were also unveiled at the Royal Albert Hall this week.

The statues, created by artist Poppy Field, ‘complete’ the building by filling the niches of its north porch, which have been empty since 1871, and its south porch, added in 2003.

Charles and Camilla were seen clapping at various points during the event including at the arrival of the Chelsea Pensioners.

Hosting the annual Royal British Legion event, Clare Balding said that servicemen and women who have lost their lives are ‘kept alive with our words, our memories, our tributes’.

There were performances from British soul singer Mica Paris, pop star Calum Scott, Chelsea Pensioner Colin Thackery and tenor Alfie Boe, who performed Bring Him Home.

The Princess Royal led a tribute to those who lost their lives in the Battle of the Atlantic, the longest military campaign of the Second World War.

It was a story about two Memories that were 5,000 miles – and a whole world – apart.

As the Queen braved the chill of a wet November day in London, Harry and Meghan paid their respects to war veterans in Californian style.

For Camilla, it was her annual pilgrimage to the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey, where she paid a moving tribute to the country’s fallen.

Wearing a Rifles jacket by Fiona Clare with a short black cape by Amanda Wakeley, she placed a small wooden cross with her code and the words ‘In Remembrance’ amid a sea of poppies.

Shortly before 11am, the Last Post was sounded by a Scots Guards bugler on the parapet of St Margaret’s Church, with Camilla bowing her head during a two-minute silence, broken by the tolling of Big Ben.

She then met the abbey staff and representatives from The Poppy Factory, which has organized the service since 1928.

Camilla will attend Remembrance Day commemorations on Sunday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex last attended events in London in 2019 before stepping back as working royals.

Since moving to the US, they have attended Veterans Day events at military bases across the United States.

Yesterday they met service members and their families at the opening of a new training center for veterans in San Diego.

Wearing poppies on their jackets – although that is not an American tradition – they met members of America’s elite Navy Seals as the ribbon was cut at the West Coast Warrior Fitness Facility, a 20,000-square-foot gym that will help veterans recover physically and mentally .

Harry and Meghan, who have highlighted the importance of mental health through their work at the Archewell Foundation and Invictus Games, were praised by former Seal Tony Duynstee, who said they had shown “courage” by “truly destigmatizing mental health issues for those who have experienced this’. military service’.

They had previously visited the US Marines Corp base Camp Pendleton, with details of the visit on their Archewell website – alongside moody black and white photos of Meghan in a £1,200 Carolina Herrera vest embroidered with poppies.

The website article described how the couple sat around a discussion table to learn about the work of Operation Bigs, a mentoring program that connects military children and families with others who have gone through similar experiences.

In 2020, a request by Harry, who made two frontline tours in Afghanistan, to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph in Whitehall was rejected by royal courtiers.

While Camilla was in Whitehall yesterday, the King visited the Central Synagogue in London to mark the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, when Nazis attacked Jewish homes, businesses and places of worship on the night of November 9, 1938.

When he met a group of Jewish refugees, who were among the 10,000 children who fled to Britain within weeks of the attacks, he told them: “You make me very proud.”

He added: “It’s truly remarkable how you’ve been able to get through it all. It seems like an important occasion… to keep memories alive.”

The King’s charities will be renamed to reflect his accession, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.

They will now be known as the King’s Foundation and the King’s Trust, meaning William or Harry are unlikely to take them over.

Prince Harry sarcastically joked about never being scrutinised, his ginger hair and taking life advice from his reiki healer today as he made a gag-filled video for a charity stand-up comedy event for US veterans in New York last night.

The Duke of Sussex wore four British military medals, including three given to him by his grandmother the Queen, and a Royal British Legion poppy on his suit jacket, during a monologue filmed at his £12million home in Montecito.

Harry and Meghan were in the Big Apple a few weeks ago, but on this occasion the Duke of Sussex appears to have filmed a message from the garden of Montecito mansion. He did a video message last time he appeared at the event, during the pandemic. It is not clear when last night’s speech was filmed.

In his virtual speech, Harry poked fun at himself during the clip for the Stand Up for Heroes show and also joked about people with ginger hair like himself being an ‘endangered species’. Other gags included someone off camera handing him a speech to keep him on script and a quip about his new life with his family in California not being scrutinised.

The video was released online just before his father King Charles III was due to set off to give his first King’s speech at the state opening of the British Parliament in London this morning.

Harry’s appearance at the show was done virtually, despite him flying on a private jet with wife Meghan Markle to a Katy Perry concert in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The 17th edition of the annual event which raises funds to support members of the armed forces was hosted at the Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday. It was hosted by British comedian Jimmy Carr and stars performing included comedian Tracy Morgan, Bruce Springsteen, and his friend John Mellencamp. Tom Hanks was also at the event with his wife Rita Wilson. Jon Stewart also appeared on stage.

The first was an Afghanistan campaign medal, then a 2002 Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal, a 2012 Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal and a 2022 Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medal (left to right)

The Duke and Duchess, who have been outspoken on environmental issues in the past, hitched a ride with other celebrities on a plane owned by Texan oil heir Michael Herd from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas.

They joined the likes of Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden as well as actress Zoe Saldana on the Gulfstream jet on a 40-minute private flight to watch the final show of Perry’s Vegas residency.

At the start of his monologue, reported first by Hello! magazine, Harry said: ‘Hello New York. Obviously I was deeply honoured when Bob asked me to debut my stand-up act with you all tonight.’

This was a reference to journalist Bob Woodruff and the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which hosted the event with the New York Comedy Festival.

The Duke also said: ‘Due to the shockingly low representation of gingers last year, and out of respect for my fellow endangered species, here I am, reporting for duty.’

And he joked: ‘As someone who never gets scrutinised, I haven’t even had to prepare much.

‘But out of an abundance of caution, I have been working on this particular act for quite some time and everyone I know tells me it’s perfect.

‘And no, these aren’t people who just tell me what I want to hear, these are people like my finance manager, my lawyer, and of course, my reiki healer.’

According to Hello, a cough was heard from someone off-camera, and Harry handed a script.

He asked: ‘So, we’re not doing the thing?’, before reading the script: ‘Thank you for having me to this splendid evening celebrating our incredible veterans.’

He then put the paper down and said: ‘It’s ok, I got this’, before moving on to a more serious message.

He said: ‘I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, service is what happens in the quiet and the chaos.

‘And whether we are wearing the uniform or not, we must continue to uphold the values we learned side by side on the base, on the drill square and on the battlefield. Values of service, values of honour and integrity and values of togetherness and solidarity.

‘I know our journeys to this point differ but we are always connected through what we learned as humans, what we faced as families and how we’ve come out stronger because of our ability to listen, to understand, to support one another.’

It is not clear whether Harry’s virtual appearance was pre-planned or a change to the schedule, and MailOnline has contacted representatives for the Sussexes for clarification on this point.

Among the celebrities attending the event were Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp who performed onstage together, actor Tom Hanks and comedians Jimmy Carr and Tracy Morgan.

Harry’s virtual appearance was revealed after Harry and Meghan were branded ‘eco-hypocrites’ after they flew on a private jet to the Katy Perry gig.

Just hours after the Sussexes flew to Vegas, the Duke’s brother, Prince William, flew on a commercial British Airways flight to Singapore for the Earthshot Prize awards, which celebrate winners for their contribution to environmentalism.

The move by Harry and Meghan sparked accusations of hypocrisy, with the Duke having previously set up his charity Travalyst to promote sustainable and eco-friendly tourism.

One royal expert has suggested that Harry, who is still a patron of the charity, should ‘get the sack’ for the decision to fly privately.

Angela Levin told The Sun: ‘They think they have gotten so grand, they wouldn’t dream of taking a normal flight.

‘They’ve got all these rich friends to pay for it. It’s worse than ‘do as I say, not as I do’ because he’s a patron of a charity.

‘William was welcomed hugely in Singapore , which must have annoyed Harry and Meghan. This sort of behaviour is exactly why we call them eco-hypocrites.’

Separately today, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said the couple have had ‘no contact’ from Buckingham Palace about an invitation to King Charles III’s 75th birthday party next week.

Charles is set to celebrate the milestone with a party at Clarence House with his closest friends and family on Tuesday, November 14.

The Sunday Times reported that Prince Harry had turned down an invitation to the birthday bash, and will stay in California. But a spokesperson for the Sussexes told MailOnline that the couple had no idea about it.

‘There has been no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty’s upcoming birthday. It is disappointing the Sunday Times has misreported this story,’ they said.

The same spokesperson also denied that Meghan, who found fame on Suits, will be making a return to acting following reports earlier this week.

Prince Andrew has made a nod to his late mother by wearing a poppy on his horse.

The 63-year-old Duke of York appeared in good spirits as he took his horse for a ride outside the Royal Lodge in Windsor today.

Andrew opted for a red sweater and khaki jacket this morning when he got on the saddle.

His horse had a poppy on its side – a gesture often associated with the late Queen Elizabeth, who displayed the red flowers on her horses every year around Remembrance Day.

It comes amid rumors that King Charles privately believes his younger brother ‘has no long-term future’ in his royal family, despite giving Andrew more time to prove he can afford to pay for his upkeep the mansion.

Prince Andrew appeared cheerful as he left the Royal Lodge in Windsor for a horse riding tour earlier this morning

A family friend said: ‘To be honest, I didn’t expect the Duke of York to live at Royal Lodge in the long term. If he could afford the upkeep, he would like to stay. But the chances of that happening are honestly slim.

“He and the Duchess… are rattling around in a huge property that they simply can’t afford.”

The king cut Andrew’s annual allowance – believed to be around £250,000 – following the emergence of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Andrew is said to have paid Epstein sex abuse victim Virginia Roberts £12 million to settle a case she brought against him out of court – allegations he strongly denied.

Last month, Andrew was pictured riding through Windsor Great Park on horseback.

The father-of-two wore navy blue riding breeches and a zip-up sweater with a royal code on it for the outing, making sure to wear a riding helmet and gloves.

In September he seemed to be enjoying his equestrian activities and driving a Range Rover very regularly.

The pictures follow reports that the beleaguered Duke of York has been given permission by the monarch to stay at his Windsor mansion ‘indefinitely’ after they ‘agreed a new deal’.

The pair are at loggerheads over Charles’s demand that Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah, move the 30-room royal property – which has problems with damp and needs several million pounds worth of repairs – to a smaller site, such as Harry and Meghan’s old home, Frogmore Cottage.

The Mirror reported last month that Andrew had been granted a stay of execution after Charles accepted that his brother would be given time to prove he can afford the upkeep of the mansion.

Several well-placed sources in royal circles have told the Mail that the prince is not being “realistic” about his financial situation after being forced to step back from his public duties.

A family friend said: ‘It’s all a bit cloud cuckoo land I’m afraid. No one, not least His Majesty, believes there is any realistic chance that the Duke of York can keep the roof of the Royal Lodge over his head in the long term.

‘It is a huge building and an estate that requires a huge amount of maintenance.’

The King’s powers to remove Andrew are limited because he took over the late Queen Mother’s Grade II listed building from the Crown Estate on a long-term lease in 2004 and funded many millions of pounds worth of renovations. If King Charles were to persuade him to move, the Crown Estate could even owe Andrew money.

But the sovereign lives not only by what it looks like for an unemployed ex-king to live in such palatial surroundings, but also by the lucrative income that Royal Lodge could bring in as a rental property on the open market.

“The Duke is clearly not going down without a fight,” an insider noted. “This will probably all end in tears. Most likely from him.”

It comes after his appearance with the Prince and Princess of Wales last month – when the family traveled to church in Balmoral, which was taken as a ‘public statement of togetherness’.

Andrew sat next to William on the way to church and seemed to be right back in the royal fold.

He was driven to church by the future king, whose wife was in the backseat.

They attended church with other family members as the royal family enjoyed their first summer holiday at the estate since the Queen’s death there a year ago.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told MailOnline that the photos of Prince Andrew traveling to church with the Welsh were ‘clearly intended to send a message of family unity’.

But he insisted this was not a sign that Andrew could return to public duties in any form.

‘This is a sad time for the Royal Family during their usual break at Balmoral. She and the nation will soon mark one year since the Queen’s death,” Fitzwilliams said.

The King has no right to kick his brother out because Andrew took over the late Queen Mother's Grade II listed building from the Crown Estate on a long-term lease in 2004 and financed many millions of pounds worth of renovations.

The King has no right to kick his brother out because Andrew took over the late Queen Mother’s Grade II listed building from the Crown Estate on a long-term lease in 2004 and financed many millions of pounds worth of renovations.

“We know how close Andrew was to the late Queen. His appearance at the Duke of Edinburgh’s Memorial Service in March 2022, where he physically supported her while she gave him emotional and financial support, caused much controversy.

“It has been reported that his allowance has been reduced. Rumor had it that his tenure at Royal Lodge in Windsor, his home, was in jeopardy.

“He is also reportedly trying to regain the police protection he lost when he stepped down from his royal duties.”

But Mr Fitzwilliams added: ‘It is important to emphasize that there is no possibility, as King Charles and Prince William have always realised, of him returning to public duties in any form.

“A look at his non-existent popularity ratings in the polls makes the public mood on this issue very clear.

‘What is emphasized, however, is harmony on a personal level and it is clear that he and his immediate family, who are also at Balmoral, will greatly appreciate this, especially as the photographs we see today are such a very public statement of togetherness are.’
