Serena Williams is feeling good about her postpartum body six months after giving birth to baby No. 2, and she wants to inspire other moms to feel the same.

The four-time Olympic gold medalist, 42, shared a photo of herself in a bikini while holding her daughter Adira, born in August 2023. via Instagram on Tuesday, February 13.

“Loving yourself is essential. I find myself having to remind myself of that self-love at all different stages of my life. Right now I love that my body isn't perfect,” Williams wrote.

“I love that I smell like milk – that milk supports @adiraohanian. I'm enjoying getting to know a new version of my body,” her post continued. “It's a change, but it's a change that has been well worth it. So start this week knowing that you are loved, and it starts with you.” (Williams also shares her eldest daughter, Olympia, 6, with her husband, Alexis Ohanian.)

Earlier this month, Williams spoke about her postpartum body when she shared a video of herself struggling to fit into a floor-length designer denim piece.

“I got this cool Valentino skirt when I was pregnant, and I thought, 'I'll be able to try this on if I don't have a bump,'” Williams explained as she tucked her legs into the design. When she tried to pull up the skirt, Williams realized, “I can't try it on.”

Despite her frustration, Williams was not discouraged.

“This is my goal,” Williams told the camera, explaining that she “should have been able to try it on by now, but I got distracted for about a month.” She continued, “I'm about a month behind. … We still have a way to go. Houston, we have a problem. Palm Beach, we have a problem.”

Williams tried the skirt one more time before bursting out laughing after it stopped just below her bum. “I feel like if I go to the gym and get fit, I'll be able to keep it up in a month,” she said. “Back to the drawer… for now.”

In December, Williams donated her “super soldier” breast milk during the holidays.

“I'm very excited to donate some breast milk left over from my trip in New York to people who really need it,” the retired tennis icon said in a video shared via Instagram while the camera showed the inside of a refrigerator filled with milk. “It will be anonymous, but super excited to help in some way.”

Williams explained in her caption that after going through a screening, she was “able to donate it instead of taking the milk home.”

“I know so many wonderful women who are adopting or failing to make milk,” she continued. “It felt great. Besides, someone out there is getting some super soldier milk.

Williams, 42, has been vocal about spreading body positivity since her retirement from tennis in 2022.

And has emphasized the need for 'self-love' to her fans in her recent film Instagram after.

The tennis superstar revealed to Vogue in 2020 that she had grown up “without a positive body image” and had struggled with accepting her body shape throughout her career.

Williams, who has 23 Grand Slam titles to her name, is married to Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian.

And in 2017, the couple had their first daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

Less than a year after Alexis Williams was born, he made a Grand Slam appearance at the French Open.

But Williams revealed how she had to have an emergency C-section and surgery due to blood clots in her lungs.

The former world number one has also opened up about her struggles with depression since having children.

Williams told Harper's Bazaar UK: “To be honest, sometimes I think I'm still dealing with it.

“I think people need to talk about it more because it's almost like the fourth trimester, it's part of pregnancy.

“I remember one day I couldn't find Olympia's bottle and I got so upset that I started crying… because I wanted to be perfect for her.”

Serena Williams gets into the spirit of giving an unconventional gift to fellow parents this holiday season.

“I’m really excited to donate some breast milk left over from my trip in New York to people who really need it,” Williams, 42, said in a video shared via Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 20, when the camera showed the inside of a refrigerator filled with milk. “It will be anonymous, but super excited to help in some way.”

Williams explained in her caption that after going through a screening, she was “able to donate it instead of taking the milk home.”

“I know so many wonderful women who are adopting or failing to make milk,” she continued. “It felt great. Besides, someone out there is getting some super soldier milk.

Instagram users were quick to make fun of the athlete’s breast milk, writing in the comments section: “That’s GOAT milk!” and “Some kids’ backhand just got stronger.”

Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian welcomed daughter Adira in August. The couple also share daughter Olympia, now 6.

Williams recently shared that she has found alternative ways to use her breast milk.

“Okay, is this totally weird???” she captioned a TikTok video earlier this month. “I have to say that after a week of using MY breast milk under my eye – it worked! I’m eager to hear your thoughts. Be nice lol.”

In the clip, Williams appeared to complete her skincare routine as she explained that she was “completely burned” under her eye.

“I put this retinol and cleaned my skin,” she said. “I have sensitive skin, so I lay in the sun. Long story. Anyway, I’ll try some breast milk.’

Williams then poured her breast milk onto a cloth and dabbed it under her eye, noting that the method “works for my child.”

“They say to put breast milk on everything, and I have a lot of extra, so I’m going to try it under my eye for a week or so and see how it goes,” she said, adding that “it already feels better because, like, it hurts.”

Adjusting to life as a mother of two comes with a number of challenges. Last month, Williams candidly shared her struggles, adding that it’s “OK not to be OK.”

“No one is okay every day,” she wrote via X (formerly Twitter). “If you’re not well today, I’ll be with you. There is always tomorrow. Love you.”

Williams then shared a selfie cuddling with her youngest daughter in a subsequent post. “This makes me so happy,” she wrote via X.

Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian were spotted leaving a party in Miami on Friday in their flashy new Tesla Cybertruck.

Alexis, one of the founders of Reddit, was part of the first group of customers to receive the latest edition of the vehicle.

On November 30, he attended a live broadcast at the Tesla factory in Texas, where Elon Musk personally showed him to his new Cybertruck.

The latest version of Tesla’s vibrant, futuristic car costs $49,890 for rear-wheel drive and $68,890 for all-wheel drive.

During their latest outing, Alexis got behind the wheel of his flashy new car, while Serena slid into the front passenger seat.

They emerged after a star-studded outburst from dashing billionaire Wayne Boich, who came from a coal mining dynasty.

Wayne threw the party in the middle of Art Basel, an internationally known art fair that has developed a reputation as flypaper for celebrities.

This year was no exception, and on Friday there was a parade of famous faces in town to attend the party at Wayne and his wife Cynthia’s country home.

Serena and Alexis joined a glittering guest list that included Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Cindy Crawford and Dwyane Wade.

Partygoers, including Serena’s sister Venus Williams, enjoyed performances from top artists like Snoop Dog and Lil Wayne.

Less than two weeks earlier, Alexis was in Texas as part of the ceremony where Elon first handed out the new Cybertrucks.

Wearing a bomber jacket with the words: ‘Invest In Women’s Sports’ on the back, Alexis became the third person in the world to receive the car.

Meanwhile, Serena begins life as a mother of two, raising her daughter Adira with six-year-old Olympia.

Serena announced Adira’s birth in August and posted a heartwarming TikTok for the whole family, which provided the very first public glimpse of her new baby.

She also revealed the name, a Hebrew word whose various translations are “noble,” “mighty,” and “majestic.”

“Welcome, Adira River Ohanian,” Alexis proudly wrote on his own Instagram after Serena announced the baby’s birth on TikTok.

“I am grateful to report that our house is working together [sic] with love: a happy and healthy newborn girl and a happy and healthy mommy,” the tech mogul rhapsodized.

‘I feel grateful. @serenawilliams you have now given me another incomparable gift: you are the GMOAT. Thank you to all the wonderful medical staff who cared for my wife and our daughter. I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her sister,” Alexis continued.

He concluded on a Biblical note, quoting the Book of Isaiah: “Your peace would have been like a river, your welfare like the waves of the sea.”

Serena and Alexis tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in New Orleans in November 2017, two months after Olympia was born.

Serena attended Art Basel Miami Beach, known as the most comprehensive contemporary art fair in North America.

The fair runs from December 8 to 10 and showcases modern and contemporary art from 277 galleries.

Serena seemed in good spirits once inside the event, posing with friends as she enjoyed the VIP preview day.

Meanwhile, her sister Venus caused a storm later in the day when she turned heads at the Art Basel Miami Beach dinner at Cote Miami.

The tennis star, 43, put on a very leggy display as she donned a sparkling little black mini dress with a silver sequined moon and star sign pattern.

She showed off her ample cleavage in the square neckline dress as she styled her brunette locks straight over her shoulder.

Venus completed the look with a pair of black heels as she posed confidently with her hand on her hip.

It comes after Serena claimed her breast milk helped heal her sunburn.

The mother, who gave birth to her second daughter in August, recently took to TikTok to explain her unusual hack.

She dabbed the breast milk onto her under-eye, which was scorched by the sun, before revealing that ‘it worked’ to soothe the area.

But it seems some of her 1.6 million followers were unsure about her unique remedy.

In the clip, which has been viewed over 47,000 times so far, Serena wears a black crop top and matching pants.

The mother of two, who stepped out of the sporting spotlight last summer, speaks directly to the camera from her home in Los Angeles.

‘I have sensitive skin. I was in the sun. Long story. Anyway, I’m trying some breast milk.

In a next post on XWilliams shared a selfie with her three-month-old daughter Adira River, who she shares with her husband Alexis Ohanian, lying against her. “This makes me so happy,” she wrote.

This isn’t the first time the tennis legend has opened up about her mental health. In September 2022, Williams had an honest conversation with Selena Gomez as part of the singer’s “Lose You to Love Me” mental health platform, Wonder Spirit.

“Mental fitness for me is just learning to shut down,” Williams explains. “You know, I did this years ago, before mental health was a topic on everyone’s mind. It was like, ‘Okay, I’m cutting myself off today.’ Subconsciously it was something I’ve always done.”

The seven-time Wimbledon champion, who retired in September 2022, noted that now that she has realized the importance of putting yourself first – “especially mentally” – she has “taken moments off.”

“I have serious boundaries, and I don’t let anyone cross those boundaries with my time,” she revealed. “And it’s so bad because I really don’t do anything for myself. I’m terrible at that! I’ve said it over and over again, “I’m working on it!” But more or less, at least prioritize what I need to do, and then if I’m disabled, I’m disabled.

In August 2018, Williams revealed that she is struggling with “postpartum emotions” after withdrawing from the Rogers Cup for “personal reasons.” (Williams welcomed daughter Alexis Olympia in September 2017 with Ohanian, 40.)

“Last week was not easy for me,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Not only was I accepting some difficult personal things, but I was just in trouble. I especially had the feeling that I was not a good mother.”

In a discussion with Anna Wintour in February 2020, Williams revealed at New York Fashion Week that her definition of a hero had changed since becoming a mother.

“My heroes are mothers because women are superheroes,” Williams said via Time. “To have a baby and then two or three weeks later have to go to work or work 9 to 5… I’m lucky that I don’t have to do that.”

In addition to her long career as a tennis player, Serena Williams has also made a name for itself in the fashion industry.

Williams, 42, rocked the red carpet at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards on Monday, November 6, looking radiant. She wore a black Thom Browne sequin dress with dramatic puff sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a long train.

Williams accessorized the glitzy look with a stunning diamond necklace, diamond earrings and, of course, her enormous engagement ring.

For glamour, she wore her hair parted in the middle and in a low bun. She kept her makeup simple yet elegant with pink blush, black eyeliner and thick lashes.

Williams reached parity with Access to Hollywood on the red carpet and revealed what her 6-year-old daughter Olympia thought of her look.

“You know she’s a fashionista,” Williams said. “She saw the dress, it was breathtaking. She said, “You look so beautiful, Mom!” It felt very good.”

Williams also admitted that while she was excited to attend the fashion awards show, she isn’t immune to “mom guilt.”

“It makes me a little sad. Mom makes me feel guilty. My mother’s guilt is real and it’s crazy, but it’s okay. It’s okay, I deserve a night out,” Williams told the same reporter.

Despite the young age of Williams’ daughter Olympia, it is clear that she has a natural eye for fashion. Williams posts regularly sweet snapshots of the now family of four (she and her husband Alexis Ohanian recently welcomed their second daughter Adira). Olympia can often be seen in the photos strike a pose in a stylish pink outfit.

In February, Williams posted cute pictures of Olympia adjusting her mother’s enormous multi-colored feather cape with the caption: ‘Like mom, like daughter. @olympiaohanian Met Gala next?”

At Monday’s ceremony, Williams received the Fashion Icon award in recognition of her style both on and off the tennis court.

“When I was a little girl, I knew I was different, so I explored fashion and style as a way to differentiate myself,” Williams told the audience when she accepted the award.

“In many ways, the tennis courts became my catwalk for me, and the US Open was my own New York Fashion Week.”

Williams went on to explain that putting her own unique spin on traditional tennis outfits was a way for her to express “my individuality and my confidence and, most importantly, my culture.” ”

Before Williams gave birth to Adira in August, she admitted, “I was worried. I thought, ‘Okay, I don’t know if I can like anyone as much as Olympia.’ I was really nervous about that. But I feel like it all worked out.”

Williams, meanwhile, has kept fans updated on her postpartum journey. In October, she shared via an Instagram photo that she started exercising a month after giving birth. “Olympia sees how I try to get my abs working again. Here comes fitness,” she captioned the post.

Although Williams made a smooth recovery from giving birth to Adira, she faced multiple complications after welcoming Olympia in September 2017, including undergoing an emergency C-section.

In a 2018 essay, she wrote for CNN, she opened up about the “life-threatening” experience. “I am so grateful that I had access to such an incredible medical team of doctors and nurses in a hospital with state-of-the-art equipment,” she wrote at the time, explaining that she had to undergo multiple surgeries for spot clots. “They knew exactly how to deal with this complicated turn of events. Without their professional care, I would not be here today.”

Williams and Ohanian tied the knot in 2017.

A whole host of A-listers and Hollywood stars descended on the American Museum of Natural History on Monday night for the CFDA Fashion Awards.

After making very glamorous arrivals, the stars were all seen socialising inside the glitzy affair, where they were served with a delicious meal during the ceremony.

Serena Williams was seen sitting alongside Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, while stars including Demi Moore, Naomi Watts and Ashley Graham were also among the star-studded guest list.

Former tennis player Serena, 42, was seen sharing a laugh with Anna, 74, as the pair sat alongside each other at the meal.

Serena cut a glamorous figure in a black sequinned gown with extravagant puffed sleeves, which she styled with a blazer swept over her shoulders.

She added some glitz to her ensemble with a statement silver necklace before picking up the fashion icon award at the ceremony, becoming the first athlete to receive the accolade.

Anna cut a stylish figure in a grey printed ensemble as she shared a laugh with Serena as they both sat on a table with museum curator Andrew Bolton. 

Elsewhere, Demi Moore made sure all eyes were on her as she stunned in a dazzling silver sequinned ensemble while posing alongside Naomi Watts.

Naomi, 55, cut an elegant figure in a black ensemble with a plunging neckline as the two stars posed for photographs together inside the jam-packed venue.

Ashley Graham also looked effortlessly chic in a mesh black spotted dress as she posed alongside Karlie Kloss while milling amongst the stars.

Anne Hathaway, who was the host of the evening, also looked incredibly in a trendy blue ensemble as she joined stars including Vera Wang at the A-list event.

Gwyneth Paltrow was also seen smiling as she tucked into a delicious meal and later appeared over-the-moon as she took to the stage to collect the innovation gong for her lifestyle brand Goop.

Winnie Harlow also appeared to be having an excellent time at the ceremony as she was seen posing for playful selfies with Liza Koshy. 

The CFDA Awards are an annual celebration of the brightest talents in the American fashion industry. 

The event was supposed to be hosted by Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker, 58, but she dropped out a week prior due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ and Anne Hathaway took over the hosting duties. 

Other winners of the night included Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen, who won the American Accessory Designer of the Year award for their line The Row. 

Willy Chavarria picked up an award for American Menswear Designer of the Year. Rachel Scott won for American Emerging Designer of the Year.

Meanwhile, Catherine Holstein won for American Womenswear Designer of the Year. Goop won for Innovation Award presented by Amazon Fashion.

Vera Wang won the Board of Director’s Tribute award while Maria Cornejo won the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jonathan Anderson won the International Designer of the Year award. Mara Hoffman won the Environmental Sustainability Award.
