The invitation-only soiree also featured A-listers such as Paris Hilton, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Julia Garner and the members of Green Day.

Davis opened up about the legendary soiree during an interview with Variety on Thursday.

'We don't talk about performances because it's all a surprise. But in the public that will be the case [Motown founder] Berry Gordy and Diana Ross and Jay-Z and Beyonce and Bon Jovi, and newer artists will be there like SZA, Ice Spice, Noah Kahan and [basketball great] Scottie Pippen and [tennis superstars] Martina Navratilova and Serena Williams.

“I think it will be Nancy Pelosi's 24th or 25th year in a row. It's a unique audience.'

He added: “We're here for the party, so obviously I have a lot on my mind at the moment.

'People come from all over the world and we hope to meet and perhaps even exceed their expectations. That is a big challenge. I'm taking it seriously and I'm excited.”

The Pre-GRAMMY Gala, sponsored by Hilton, IBM and Mastercard, will honor Sony Music Publishing Chairman and CEO Jon Platt as the 2024 GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons.

“Jon Platt is one of the music industry's most illustrious leaders and I am thrilled that he will receive this year's Salute to Industry Icons honor,” Davis said in a statement.

“Jon's longstanding, groundbreaking commitment to supporting songwriters across the music spectrum, as well as his staunch commitment to advocacy, diversity and equality in the music business, are exemplary,” he continued.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. added in a statement: “One of the most influential figures in the industry, Jon has consistently set the bar for leadership in music.

“His continued commitment to equality, his commitment to quality, and his advocacy for artists across all crafts and genres have been an inspiration to music leaders everywhere. We look forward to an incredible evening dedicated to honoring his incredible impact.”

During Platt's leadership, Sony Music Publishing has solidified its historic foundation while paving the way for future success.

This era has witnessed the creation of groundbreaking collaborations with iconic songwriters such as Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and Ashley Gorley.

At the same time, the company has welcomed a new wave of musical prodigies, including Olivia Rodrigo, Jack Harlow, Latto, Anitta, Central Cee, Kane Brown and the Kid LAROI.

The bash will take place ahead of the 2024 Grammy Awards, which will honor music's brightest stars at a party held Feb. 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles.

This year's celebration will be hosted by Trevor Noah and will air live at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS and its streaming service Paramount+.

This year, SZA tops the nominations with a total of nine nods, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Taylor Swift follows closely behind with six nominations and will also compete against SZA in the three categories mentioned above.

The majority of Swift's nominations were for her critically acclaimed album Midnights and the single Anti-Hero, which earned some of the best reviews of her career.

That song is nominated for Record of the Year, a category that honors the artists who recorded the song and its producers and engineers, as well as the Song of the Year category, which honors songwriters. SZA's track Kill Bill has also been nominated in both categories.

Swift has already made history in the Album of the Year category and currently has three previous wins with music legends Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.

However, she is now set to become the first person ever to win the category four times if Midnights emerges as the winner this year.

Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus also both have a chance to win six prizes. Eilish's nominations include Song and Record of the Year for her hit single from the Barbie soundtrack, What Was I Made For?

Dad Dennis is a Texas native.

He was born in 1954 and is known for a wide variety of dramatic and comedic roles.

First gaining widespread attention in the late 1970s, some of his notable credits include Breaking Away (1979), The Right Stuff (1983), The Big Easy (1986).

Next came Innerspace (1987), Great Balls of Fire! (1989), Dragonheart (1996), The Parent Trap (1998).

He had a big hit with the disaster movie The Day After Tomorrow (2004) then was seen in Good Company (2004), Yours, Mine & Ours (2005), and Vantage Point (2008).

For his role in Far from Heaven (2002), he won the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor among other accolades. The Guardian named him one of the best actors never to have received an Academy Award nomination.

He had a big hit with 2017’s A Dog’s Purpose.

Meg also has a daughter.

Daisy was born in China in 2004 and was adopted at 14 months of age by the actress.

Ryan raised Daisy as a single mother in New York City after her high-profile 2001 divorce from movie star Dennis Quaid, 69, who is best known for the movies The Parent Trap, The Day After Tomorrow and A Dog’s Purpose.

The only father Daisy may have known was Meg’s on and off boyfriend, 71-year-old rock star John Mellencamp.

The stars began dating in November 2010 and stayed together for four years before breaking up in August 2014. However, they got back together before the end of that year. Then they split again.

Daisy attended school in lower Manhattan and was often seen out in public with her mother as they walked on the street.

The teenager was last seen at an event with Meg in July 2019 when they sat front row at the Schiaparelli fashion show in Paris during Paris Fashion Week.

Meg told Redbook magazine Daisy was an easy child.

‘Daisy doesn’t feel hard. She doesn’t feel like…there’s no sweat on it, man,’ she told the magazine.

‘She’s a good hang, and she’s easy. She’s very smart and she’s very generous. I love that she’s funny. I love that.

‘I just can’t imagine what it was like before she came. Life is good, it’s so good with her in it. She and Jack get along great. All of us fit together beautifully.’

Meg shared in that same interview that Daisy was randomly assigned to her, per China’s adoption process.

But she feels it was fate.

‘I am convinced, completely convinced that there was nothing random about it. She is the daughter I should have,’ she said.

‘I never felt like I was on a rescue mission or anything like that. I just really wanted a baby; I was on a mission to connect with somebody, and Daisy and I got to meet each other this way at this time,’ said the star.

‘We are so compatible. And also having the experience of having had Jack and now to have Daisy in a different way—there’s no difference in the love you feel.

The When Harry Met Sally… star also talked being a single mother.

‘I mean, Jack has his dad and they’re close, he’ll always have that. But when you’re the only one in the house with the kids, you get to be the one in charge. You’re the one making the rules. There’s no stress because you and some other adult don’t agree on how you want to raise your kids,’ she said.

As the beats of the song dropped, Nupur performed the song’s signature step along with his friends Jugnu song composed by artist Badshah and Nikhita Gandhi. Others cheered for his impressive moves and were appreciated by his friends and family.

Disney+ has announced a fantastic collection of children’s films to get the family in the holiday spirit this weekend.

Here’s the ultimate guide to the top ten shows and movies fans can look forward to on the streaming giant.

Topping the list is the new animated comedy blockbuster LEGO Marvel Code Red.

In the special, The Avengers set out to save New York City from the Red Skull and his Hydra Forces, but things go wrong when Black Widow’s father Red Guardian disappears.

The team of superheroes soon discovers that everyone with “red” in their name is in danger, including their friend Red She-Hulk.

Meanwhile, Disney+ presents a list of beloved classics, including a remastered version of the children’s classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The beautiful animated fairy tale, originally released in 1937, was restored for modern audiences in honor of Disney Studios’ 100th anniversary.

Known as the first full-length animated film to use the cel technique – a process in which each frame of the film is drawn by hand – the film tells the story of a princess who longs to escape her stepmother, the evil queen.

The princess falls in love with a handsome prince and befriends seven dwarfs.

Disney+ also celebrates the famous Disney brand with other animated classics from the past, including Bambi (1942) and Pinocchio (1940).

Loved by generations of fans, Bambi tells the story of a little deer who will grow up to become Prince of the Forest.

Fans can also watch the 2022 live-action CGI remake of Pinocchio on the streaming giant.

Directed by famed filmmaker Robert Zemeckis of Forrest Gump fame, the new version features superstar Tom Hanks and Knives Out actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

In this charming fairy tale, a wooden doll goes on an adventure to discover how he can be transformed into a ‘real boy’.

Also available to stream this weekend on Disney+ is the modern classic Frozen.

This year it’s celebrating its 10th anniversary and this is the heartwarming story of a young princess who wants to save her kingdom.

This animated classic has a 90 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is known for its moving story and iconic songs like “Let It Go.”

Another classic worth seeing this weekend on Disney+ is The Little Mermaid.

The voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen can be heard in the 1995 animated classic comedy Toy Story, which is also available to stream on Disney+ (pictured)

Originally released in 1989, this delightful tale of a mischievous mermaid who leaves the sea for an adventure among humans was rebooted this year.

Both versions are now streaming on Disney+.

Meanwhile, the classic 1989 Disney animated musical fantasy The Lion King is also ready to stream.

Starring the voices of Matthew Broderick (The Producers) and Jeremy Irons (Watchman), it is the beautiful story of a lion cub Simba who learns how to become a ‘king’ of the jungle.

Also streaming is 2019’s photoreal CGI Lion King reboot.

The voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, meanwhile, can be heard in the animated classic comedy Toy Story, which is also available on Disney+.

Released to universal acclaim in 1995, this blockbuster tells the story of a set of toys that come to life when their owner is not around.

Beloved characters from the film, such as cowboy Woody (Tom Hanks) and astronaut Buzz Lightyear, return in Toy Story 2, also streaming on Disney+, alongside the sequels Toy Story 3 and Toy Story 4.

And rounding out the list of the best kids’ movies to watch on Disney+ this weekend is Aladdin.

This 1992 animated musical classic, voiced by the late comedy genius Robin Williams, follows the adventures of a street urchin named Aladdin, who discovers a genie hiding in a lantern.

A live-action reboot of Aladdin will also stream in 2019.

As the biggest celebrity fraud of our time, Imposter Syndrome – where ‘sufferers’ fear that they are unworthy of their success and will be exposed for their inadequacy – is now the fashion accessory of the A-lister du jour.

Steve Coogan is the latest to claim this, telling Kirsty Young on her Young Again podcast that at the start of his career: ‘I felt a bit like, ‘How did I get here?’

Oh, pull that other one, Alan Partridge. Coogan is worth £19 million. His list of awards, including two Oscar nominations and numerous BAFTAs, is longer than the ingredients on a pack of ultra-processed doughnuts.

This is not someone who has retreated into the wings of life, afraid to be in the spotlight. On the contrary, Coogan has been central for thirty years. As a 22-year-old stand-up, he earned up to £1,000 a night.

During my own TV career I have worked with many comedians. If there’s any race less likely to exhibit Uriah Heep-like modesty, it’s them. In my experience, comics are narcissistic, ultra-competitive and would step over their own grandmother’s prone body for a headline spot.

Comedian, actor and screenwriter Steve Coogan (pictured) told Kirsty Young on her Young Again podcast that he had experienced something similar to Imposter Syndrome early in his career

This venal ambition could come from a place of secret pain – or it could be that they’re just really desperate for money, success and a nice car (Coogan has a penchant for Ferraris).

But the litany of highly successful people emerging as sufferers of Imposter Syndrome – a term first coined in the 1970s by American researchers focusing on high-achieving women – is increasing by the day.

They include Tom Hanks, Emma Watson, model Bella Hadid, former Facebook boss Sheryl Sandberg, former first lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga and Meghan Markle.

Meghan gave a keynote speech to the One Young World Summit last year, in which she said of her previous appearance at the summit in 2014, when she was best known for her role in the legal drama Suits: “I wondered if I was good enough was to even be there.’

I’m afraid to say that I just don’t believe any of it. To reach the greasy pole of success, you need the twin crampons of rock-solid determination and unwavering self-confidence.

Personally, I stand by Oprah, who stated earlier this year that she has never felt Imposter Syndrome. She credits her father for giving her the belief in her own abilities; and it was my parents who taught me a similar iron bar.

It’s not that I feel like I’m better than other people, it’s that I was raised to believe that doubting yourself is a waste of time. Instead of spending hours navel-gazing about why you might not be good enough, just get started and do it. The only failure is the inability to try.

There was only one time I wobbled. I was about twelve years old and was chosen for the netball team at school. I’m only five feet now, but I was probably less than five feet back then.

Actress Emma Watson has also explained that she suffers from Imposter Syndrome and says she feels 'incredibly uncomfortable' when receiving recognition for her acting.

Actress Emma Watson has also explained that she suffers from Imposter Syndrome and says she feels ‘incredibly uncomfortable’ when receiving recognition for her acting.

I told my dad I didn’t think I was good enough to play against the taller girls. He looked me in the eye and announced, “Think Kevin Keegan – jump higher.” (Soccer player Keegan was only 6 feet tall.)

And that’s what I’ve done ever since. When I was in the newspaper in my twenties and a promotion was on the horizon, I didn’t sit back and say, “Oh no, not my little self.” I have submitted an application for it.

When I was in my thirties and working in television, I didn’t pretend that I wasn’t worthy of being in front of the camera. I stepped forward and said, ‘Yes, I can do that.’

I hope I have taught my own children not to practice humility, but to be honest about their ambitions – and then work hard to achieve that ambition.

So why do so many stars belittle their own efforts? Why do they feel the need to tell us it was all a fluke? Maybe it’s an attempt to make those of us who drive cars other than Ferraris feel better.

Those false mea culpas of Imposter Syndrome send the message, “Look, I’m actually just like you (give or take a few million).” In a world full of social media ‘likes’, it is now not enough to be talented, focused and willing to give your best; you also have to be ‘humble’.

‘Connecting’ with fans is an important marketing tool. Or as my grandmother used to say, “No one likes to brag.”

Especially for female stars, it is crucial that you don’t ‘go above and beyond’.

We may succeed, but only if we are also kind, kind people. Inevitably, woke actress Emma Watson uses Imposter Syndrome to undermine her abilities.

‘When I get recognition for my acting now, I feel extremely uncomfortable. I have a tendency to turn inward on myself. “I feel like an impostor,” she says. Yawn. But it’s really depressing when even the truly inspirational powerhouse Michelle Obama says the same thing.

“I still have a little bit of Imposter Syndrome,” Michelle explained during her book tour, before adding, “I’m sharing that with you because we all have doubts about our abilities, about our power and what that power is.”

Do WE really do that? Perhaps we all have those strange moments when we realize that we have made a mistake and that we may turn out to be a little less capable than we had hoped.

But if you expect me to believe that most people, let alone stars, actually worry for years that they won’t be up to the task, then I’m afraid I just don’t believe you.

I so wish Michelle Obama would instead say, “I’m great and I know it,” no matter what those who might accuse her of boasting might say.

I also wish women wouldn’t use self-doubt as a form of bondage. ‘I’m so bad at my job…’, ‘I look terrible without make-up…’, ‘I need to lose weight.’

The term 'Imposter Syndrome' was first coined in the 1970s by American researchers looking at high-achieving women (Stock Image)

I wish we would start owning our success; If, instead of proclaiming our perceived shortcomings and imperfections, we women would share our strengths, perhaps others would see us as strong too, rather than taking our modesty as proof that we are not really up to the task after all .

There are, of course, people who exhibit the opposite of Imposter Syndrome, whose gigantic egos fail to recognize their own shortcomings.

They are almost all men, many are or were politicians (I’m looking at you, Matt Hancock). We have all met many such people in the workplace. They are absolutely annoying and can cause a lot of damage to an organization. But at least you can see them coming from miles away.

They don’t pretend to be oh-so-happy while secretly gunning for your job. Because as far as I’m concerned, only a fraudster could claim Imposter Syndrome.

Prince Harry did not wear a Coronation medal given to him by King Charles as he delivered a gag-filled video monologue for US veterans in New York last night.

The Duke of Sussex wore four British military medals, including three given to him by his grandmother the Queen, and a Royal British Legion poppy on his suit jacket, during a monologue filmed at his £12million home in Montecito.

Notably absent was the medal minted to mark his father Charles’ coronation, which Harry was awarded alongside members of the Armed Forces and frontline emergency service workers.

The medal, which is made of silver and plated in nickel, features an image of The King and Queen Camilla and was also given to those directly involved in the delivery of the Coronation. A total of 400,000 were issued.

It comes as relations between Harry and his father remain strained, with a spokesperson for the Sussexes revealing they have not had any contact from Buckingham Palace about any invitation to Charles’s 75th birthday party next week.

Though the Duke since attended the coronation of his father at Westminster Abbey in May, his relationship with King Charles remains fractured – with the Royal Family not publicly noting his birthday in September.

Prince Harry gives a video speech, joking about being ginger and media scrutiny, to a comedy event for US veterans. He wore four medals. The first was an Afghanistan campaign medal, then a 2002 Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal, a 2012 Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal and a 2022 Queen’s Platinum Jubilee medal (numbered left to right on his chest)

In his latest public appearance, Harry seemed to be in good spirits as he poked fun at himself during the clip for the Stand Up for Heroes show and joked about people with ginger hair like himself being an ‘endangered species’.

In his virtual speech, apparently filmed from garden of his Montecito mansion, he also made gags including someone off camera handing him a speech to keep him on script and a quip about his new life with his family in California not being scrutinised.

The video was released online just before his father King Charles III was due to set off to give his first King’s speech at the state opening of the British Parliament in London this morning.

Harry’s appearance at the show was done virtually, despite him flying on a private jet with wife Meghan Markle to a Katy Perry concert in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The 17th edition of the annual event which raises funds to support members of the armed forces was hosted at the Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday.

It was hosted by British comedian Jimmy Carr and stars performing included comedian Tracy Morgan, Bruce Springsteen, and his friend John Mellencamp. Tom Hanks was also at the event with his wife Rita Wilson. Jon Stewart also appeared on stage.

The Duke and Duchess, who have been outspoken on environmental issues in the past, hitched a ride with other celebrities on a plane owned by Texan oil heir Michael Herd from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas.

They joined the likes of Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden as well as actress Zoe Saldana on the Gulfstream jet on a 40-minute private flight to watch the final show of Perry’s Vegas residency.

At the start of his monologue, reported first by Hello! magazine, Harry said: ‘Hello New York. Obviously I was deeply honoured when Bob asked me to debut my stand-up act with you all tonight.’

This was a reference to journalist Bob Woodruff and the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which hosted the event with the New York Comedy Festival.

The Duke also said: ‘Due to the shockingly low representation of gingers last year, and out of respect for my fellow endangered species, here I am, reporting for duty.’

And he joked: ‘As someone who never gets scrutinised, I haven’t even had to prepare much.

‘But out of an abundance of caution, I have been working on this particular act for quite some time and everyone I know tells me it’s perfect.

‘And no, these aren’t people who just tell me what I want to hear, these are people like my finance manager, my lawyer, and of course, my reiki healer.’

According to Hello, a cough was heard from someone off-camera, and Harry handed a script.

He asked: ‘So, we’re not doing the thing?’, before reading the script: ‘Thank you for having me to this splendid evening celebrating our incredible veterans.’

He then put the paper down and said: ‘It’s ok, I got this’, before moving on to a more serious message.

He said: ‘I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, service is what happens in the quiet and the chaos.

‘And whether we are wearing the uniform or not, we must continue to uphold the values we learned side by side on the base, on the drill square and on the battlefield. Values of service, values of honour and integrity and values of togetherness and solidarity.

‘I know our journeys to this point differ but we are always connected through what we learned as humans, what we faced as families and how we’ve come out stronger because of our ability to listen, to understand, to support one another.’

It is not clear whether Harry’s virtual appearance was pre-planned or a change to the schedule, and MailOnline has contacted representatives for the Sussexes for clarification on this point.

Among the celebrities attending the event were Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp who performed onstage together, actor Tom Hanks and comedians Jimmy Carr and Tracy Morgan.

Harry’s virtual appearance was revealed after Harry and Meghan were branded ‘eco-hypocrites’ after they flew on a private jet to the Katy Perry gig.

Just hours after the Sussexes flew to Vegas, the Duke’s brother, Prince William, flew on a commercial British Airways flight to Singapore for the Earthshot Prize awards, which celebrate winners for their contribution to environmentalism.

The move by Harry and Meghan sparked accusations of hypocrisy, with the Duke having previously set up his charity Travalyst to promote sustainable and eco-friendly tourism.

One royal expert has suggested that Harry, who is still a patron of the charity, should ‘get the sack’ for the decision to fly privately.

Angela Levin told The Sun: ‘They think they have gotten so grand, they wouldn’t dream of taking a normal flight.

‘They’ve got all these rich friends to pay for it. It’s worse than ‘do as I say, not as I do’ because he’s a patron of a charity.

‘William was welcomed hugely in Singapore , which must have annoyed Harry and Meghan. This sort of behaviour is exactly why we call them eco-hypocrites.’

Separately today, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said the couple have had ‘no contact’ from Buckingham Palace about an invitation to King Charles III’s 75th birthday party next week.

Charles is set to celebrate the milestone with a party at Clarence House with his closest friends and family on Tuesday, November 14.

The Sunday Times reported that Prince Harry had turned down an invitation to the birthday bash, and will stay in California. But a spokesperson for the Sussexes told MailOnline that the couple had no idea about it.

‘There has been no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty’s upcoming birthday. It is disappointing the Sunday Times has misreported this story,’ they said.

The same spokesperson also denied that Meghan, who found fame on Suits, will be making a return to acting following reports earlier this week.

Prince Harry sarcastically joked about never being scrutinised, his ginger hair and taking life advice from his reiki healer today as he made a gag-filled video for a charity stand-up comedy event for US veterans in New York last night.

The Duke of Sussex wore four British military medals, including three given to him by his grandmother the Queen, and a Royal British Legion poppy on his suit jacket, during a monologue filmed at his £12million home in Montecito.

Harry and Meghan were in the Big Apple a few weeks ago, but on this occasion the Duke of Sussex appears to have filmed a message from the garden of Montecito mansion. He did a video message last time he appeared at the event, during the pandemic. It is not clear when last night’s speech was filmed.

In his virtual speech, Harry poked fun at himself during the clip for the Stand Up for Heroes show and also joked about people with ginger hair like himself being an ‘endangered species’. Other gags included someone off camera handing him a speech to keep him on script and a quip about his new life with his family in California not being scrutinised.

Exclusive new photos show the former US president, 61, and Hollywood star, 66, dining together outdoors at Cantina, a glamorous waterfront restaurant on Sifnos Island.

Barack’s two daughters Sasha, 22, and Malia, 24, as well as his wife Michelle, 59, also attended the meal, which took place earlier this month.

As for Tom, he was joined by husband Rita Wilson, 66. The couple became Greek citizens in 2020 and are said to own a villa on the island of Antiparos, which is not far from Sifnos.

“Their presence was quite overwhelming, and that was certainly not lessened by the over-the-top security — we even had to ask if we could use the restroom.”

Barack wore a black button-up top for the outing, while Tom opted for a more casual look in a dark hoodie.

Harvard graduate Malia, who is currently pursuing a job as a screenwriter, donned a long, flowing patchwork skirt and cream cardigan, while her younger sister, Sasha, who recently graduated from USC, wore a bright blue outfit and a similar color sweater.

Michelle’s ensemble was not visible from the angle the photos were taken. As for Rita, she was seen wearing a blue kimono-like dress with an intricate bird design.

It is said that the Obamas spent time with Tom and Rita before the ex-leader left for Athens to speak at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s (SNF) Nostos conference on June 22.

The actor and the former president have been close for a while and this isn’t actually the first time they’ve gone on vacation together.

It’s unclear when they first met, but in 2016, Barack awarded Tom the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

At the time, he stated in his speech that the Forrest Gump alum “touched him in a very powerful, personal way.”

They were then seen vacationing on a yacht off the coast of Tahiti with Oprah Winfrey and Bruce Springsteen in April 2017.

A year later, Barack attended Tom and Rita’s 30th anniversary party in Hollywood, and in May 2021, the father-of-two was seen entering Tom’s house for another gathering.

Tom Hanks niece Carly Reeves says she doesn’t regret her now-viral meltdown on the reality series Claim to Fame, saying her A-list uncle is “totally fine with it.”

Reeves’ shocking on-camera outburst — in which she yelled insults at other contestants while sobbing for not getting “more camera time” — took place shortly after she was eliminated from the first episode of the show’s final season on ABC.

Speak against TMZ On Wednesday, Reeves, 39, insisted her reaction wasn’t fake in front of the cameras and that she was genuinely distraught about her early departure.

“It’s funny that people say I acted to get an acting role, for example. But I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ I was very upset and I don’t hold back when I’m upset,” she told host Harvey Levin.

Reeves also claimed that producers never stepped in to de-escalate the situation and instead kept the cameras rolling.

So that’s when I realized that, “Oh, they’ll probably air this.” But yeah, I have producer friends too and they’re like, ‘Oh yeah! That was like reality TV porn to us,'” she said.

Reeves acknowledged that it “didn’t look good” because audiences “worship” Tom and “don’t want this bad image associated with him.”

But despite that, she does not regret her behavior.

“The only reason I don’t regret it is because it was real and I can’t regret anything if it’s clearly my feelings.

“But obviously some of the things I said weren’t the truth,” Reeves admitted, especially the insults she uttered at fellow contestant Gabriel, Hugo.

“I love Gabriel. I think he’s a great contestant and he’s hilarious. I was just trying to think of anything and anyone who could be blamed at the time,” she said.

Reeves was then asked about Tom and her aunt Rita Wilson, who have been married for 35 years, and how they reacted to her breakdown.

She said they were “happy” she landed on the show. “They know I love reality TV, so they thought, ‘Have fun! Good luck,'” she recalls.

After the premiere aired, Reeves said she texted Tom to ask if he’d seen it.

“He said, ‘I’ve got a taste for it,'” Reeves recalled with a laugh. And he basically said it’s all good. I hope you get what you wanted with this I think.

‘He was totally fine with it. Of course he’s not afraid it will diminish his sympathy.’

The ABC show, which is hosted by Kevin and Frankie Jonas and first premiered last year, follows a slew of people who are all related to celebrities as they try to guess who the other contestants’ famous connections are. are.

They compete against each other in a series of challenges, earning clues along the way – and if one can correctly figure out who another’s famous relative is, that person will be eliminated from the show.

The season two premiere episode aired Monday, which saw Reeves make her early departure.

During the final moments, hosts Kevin and Frankie Jonas asked a contestant named Hugo if he had any idea which star Carly was related to.

And when he successfully theorized it was Tom, she began to sob, before bursting into a screaming fit and storming off stage.

As soon as Kevin confirmed that Hugo’s guess was correct, Carly became emotional, crying loudly as she covered her face and headed off to get her things.

She then began screaming at the top of her lungs, hurling a slew of insults at the show, as well as her fellow contestants, who listened with bewildered looks on their faces.

“The damn directions were so damn clear,” she bellowed. ‘Even [contestant] Gabriel has figured it out and he’s not even smart.

‘I didn’t even get to do a challenge. I do not deserve this. I should have more camera time. I should be here longer. Nobody expected that, nobody.’

Carly’s clue was a park bench – a reference to a very famous scene from Tom’s movie Forrest Gump.

Footage of the dramatic moment was quickly shared on Twitter, where it went viral – gaining hundreds of thousands of views and leaving many on the internet shocked – and entertained – by her intense and unexpected reaction.

Speak against OWReeves called herself an “emotional, very dramatic person” and, as in her TMZ interview, admitted that she was “a little overreacting.”

She said she was angry that she “didn’t get a chance to play as long as some of the other contestants.”

And while she offended others during her shock meltdown, Reeves told that outlet that she was “generally just mad at myself and the fact that I went home.”

As for the now-viral comment she made about deserving “more camera time,” Reeves called it “silly” and that she was “just saying things out of my mouth” at the time.

Reeves said she never intended to “embarrass” her Oscar-winning uncle and that he’s “happy for me either way.”

“He did ask me, ‘Did you make some money?’ And I was like, “Yeah, I made a little bit.” And he said, “Okay, good.” So he was happy that I made some money,” she claimed.

Carly has followed in her uncle’s footsteps and starred in a few movies and shows over the years, including Raise Your Voice, Charlie Wilson’s War, Larry Crowne, Broke at Love, The Bachelor Parody, and Totally Studios.
