A NUMBER of shoppers have been 'catfished' by an online brand flogging 'luxury' dressing gowns and robes that look nothing like the images.

E-retailer CozeyHouse has a whopping 210 bathrobes on its website, along with other sleepwear, but customers claim it's one big “scam.”

That's because their 'luxury' robes reportedly look much cheaper than the images they are advertised with online.

Scorned shopper Caroline Smith, who ordered a leopard print bathrobe, said the quality was so poor she “wouldn't use it to mop up sick, let alone wear it.”

Similarly, Giuditta Tornetta purchased CozeyHouse's Green Floral Sleep Coat and was bitterly disappointed with what arrived.

The robe she ordered had a chic look with thick velvet, two pockets and beautiful flowers draped down the front and around the wrists.

What she received was a piece of polyester with a zipper with a completely different floral pattern and dull colors.

CozeyHouse prices the bathrobe at £59.32 on its website, where it is also described as “soft and luxurious”.

Designers claim it has a “printed design or added elegance” and is “delicate and requires gentle care.”

Giuditta warned other shoppers against parting with their hard-earned money for any of the robes on Facebook.

According to a blurb on its website, CozeyHouse claims to be “a leading global online store specializing in the latest trends and affordable sleepwear for women.”

“Since our inception, our mission has been to provide our valued customers around the world with an unparalleled shopping experience,” it said.

“We are proud that we remain at the forefront.

“Our dedicated team of fashion experts continually curates a wide range of sleepwear, so you have access to the trendiest and most affordable styles.”

Trustpilot reviews also call the brand a scam and say the “robes look nothing like the advertised product”

“I opened a PayPal case, but I doubt I'll get a full refund,” Rene Papas said angrily.

“Avoid this company or whatever new name they come up with.”

Louise Holvey also accused the brand of “false advertising”.

“The item I received looked nothing like the advertised item I ordered,” she said.

“I am so tired of these scammers taking advantage of customers.”
