12-year-old boy dies at school in New Delhi, parents suspect something strange is going on in school theory
Police say initial observations found no visible injuries, but a foam-like substance was coming from his mouth. Doctors suggested a possible convulsion. Police question students and teachers.
Prince’s father, Sagar, a sewer worker, disputes the possibility of a seizure. “My son was completely healthy and had no history of seizures. He even played football and was a good player, participated in inter-school tournaments and won several medals,” Sagar told PTI, adding that “there is something wrong in the theory of the school and the police.” He says other students told him Prince collapsed after an argument with a classmate. Sagar says teachers then took Prince to Holy Angels Hospital, which later referred him to Fortis.
Sagar says he dropped his son off at school before work and got a call at 9:45 a.m. that Prince was injured. When he arrived at the hospital, his son was dead. Prince’s uncle Vineet questioned the absence of teachers during the incident.
The school has not commented.
