NEW DELHI: An investigation into the suicide of a 15-year-old boy found that a 26-year-old sales manager had allegedly committed suicide sexual abuse and harassed him, according to Pune Police on Wednesday.“The investigation revealed that an unidentified person had sent messages to the boy threatening to make his photos and videos public. The police have traced the suspect,” said a police official.According to a PTI report, the investigation revealed that the sales manager had sexually assaulted the adolescent and recorded the incident on his mobile device.“The suspect later started harassing the boy by sending him the photos and videos on his phone, which led to the teenager committing suicide,” the officer added.Authorities have filed charges against the suspect, including abetment to suicide.The teenager died by suicide at his home on October 15.The authorities have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (Pocso) Act.
