Misty wrote: ‘To my dearest little sister, my twin sister, my rock, my baby’s mother, my point of contact, my world, the only one who understood me and most of my childhood traumas, who went through it all with me, my Arnold.
‘You were deprived of your life at such a young age.
‘You left before anyone could say goodbye…how much we love you…how amazing you are and how proud we are of you for staying sober through the hardest times of your life, how far you’ve come from where you were, how grateful we are to have spent all these years with you, how proud we are of you as a mother, how grateful we are for the 3 little pieces of your heart that still walk this earth.’
She wrote of the devastating moment she heard her sister had died: ‘When I pulled up and saw all these vehicles, an empty ambulance… and I jumped out of the truck as fast as I could, begging the paramedics and the police to tell me I was OK and that they were just working to keep you alive out there… But my worst fears were realized and I collapsed in the road.’

‘This is so not real life. It’s not real. I’m begging God to give you back to us.. I saw the shirt you were wearing and I held it so tight, I smelled it for so long as I just stood there empty, broken, finally giving myself a moment to fall apart knowing the kids were okay and I was alone. I will hold that shirt close to my heart forever.
“We’re going to make sure these babies are okay. Your memory won’t fade with time. It will live on in every moment of every day.”
