NEW DELHI: The Indian Army on sunday 3 killed terrorists in an anti-infiltration operation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to authorities, the military also seized a trove of weapons and other war items.
“03x Terrorists have been eliminated during the ongoing anti-infiltration operation on the LoC in Keran sector along with seizure of arms and other war-related supplies,” Chinar Corps posted on X.
This comes after the security forces launched an operation, codenamed Dhanush II, to foil the infiltration attempt.
In the past few months, a series of terrorist attacks have taken place in the Jammu division of J&K. The militants have attacked four locations in Kathua, Doda, Reasi and Udhampur districts of the region, killing 15 people, including nine pilgrims and six security personnel, while 46 others were injured.
