9 Items That Will Sell Out This Month, Says Fashion Editor
LAST week, Marks & Spencer was a huge success at the reader-voted Fabulous High-Street Fashion Awards, winning eight awards including Best One-Stop Shop and Best High-Street Store. And it’s not hard to see why.
Every time I go online to check out the “new” products, they just keep getting better.
Last week’s highly anticipated Fall/Winter press conference was a huge success among fashion journalists and influencers.
My favorites included a pair of gold metallic pants, a buttermilk yellow Autograph jacket, and a dress with mirror embellishments. But not all of the new top pieces are available in stores yet, so you’ll have to be patient.
In the meantime, there are still a number of beautiful items for sale before they disappear for good.
Fabulous Fashion Director Tracey Lea Sayer reveals the top pieces on her wish list this week.

1. Sequin Tassel Skirt, £89, Autograph at Marks & Spencer – BUY NOW
Don’t miss this great party item.
I always have to look for something fun to do for the Christmas party at work, but this year that’s not the case.
I’m going to go ahead and buy this sequined fringe skirt. It’ll look great with a white shirt and red lipstick for an office party. I’ll wear it for Christmas with a comfy cashmere sweater.
2. Bag, £45, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – BUY NOW
Oh, hello new seasonal bag full of dreams!
This is the ultimate work bag that can hold everything and still look stylish.
I carry half my life in my handbag so I can’t manage with a small one. And this is a bargain at £45.
3. Bomber Jacket, £69, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – SHOP NOW
Cozy boucle always looks expensive, especially in cream color.
This super soft jacket can be neatly combined with a bias-cut silk skirt, but also casually with baggy pleated jeans and sneakers.
A real all-rounder: all you have to do is not spill anything on it!
4. Blue Velvet Jacket, £79, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – BUY NOW
Blue Velvet Trousers, £45, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – SHOP NOW
This suit has a touch of 90s Tom Ford for Gucci.
That midnight blue velvet just screams luxury!
And don’t forget, you can always split a pack to get more bang for your buck.
The trousers look great with a trophy sweater and cowboy boots, and the jacket is a great addition to a pair of old jeans for a night out at the pub.
5. Tux Jacket, £119, Signature at Marks & Spencer – BUY NOW
Every year I say I’m going to treat myself to a black tuxedo, but I never do it.
Well, this year I’m going to buy one because they never get old.
A black tuxedo is perfect to wear over a slip dress or for a stylish look with jeans and a white shirt.
6. Rugby Shirt, £49.50, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – BUY NOW
I like to borrow from the boys. Last year I bought a small men’s rugby shirt from Marks & Spencer.
But this year there’s one for the girls!
A bold stripe is a great way to break up the heavy fall colors and give your look a cool, preppy vibe.
7. Silver Shoes, £39.50, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – BUY NOW
Statement shoes are big news.
I always invest in a great pair of new season shoes because they make all my old stuff relevant again.
Metallics are neutral and go with any color or pattern. I promise these shoes will fit perfectly into your wardrobe.
8. Black Sheer Skirt, £55, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – SHOP NOW
In the 90s I was obsessed with Prada and this skirt reminds me of that time.
I would pair it with an oversized sweater or blazer and ballet flats to contrast the feminine vibe with something more boyish – divine.
9. Green Jacket, £69, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – BUY NOW
Green Trousers, £29.50, M&S Collection at Marks & Spencer – BUY NOW
Statement suits are my guilty pleasure.
Since I don’t wear dresses that often, I prefer to wear a tailored two-piece suit for work.
This emerald green is a real eye-catcher, but be quick, because it is almost sold out!
Why Everyone Loves M&S
Deputy fashion editor Abby McHale told Fabulous why M&S is the store of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really done a great job this season, there are so many good products to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’, although that idea has long since disappeared, it is now one of the leading high streets for women’s clothing.
“The handbag range in particular is super strong, with a 170% sales rate against plan, and many more designer dupes at a fraction of the price.
“The brand is also now #1 for style perceptions, up from #3 last year. This is due to a very strong design team that is focused on modernizing the brand, taking into account not only how the pieces look, but also how easy they are to wear.
“Price is also an important factor as you can get a lot of good quality pieces for under £30.
“Having given us a sneak peek at the upcoming collection, there are so many more amazing pieces to keep an eye out for in the coming months.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and great accessories, as well as great wardrobe pieces that will last year after year.”
