“Based on specific information about the movement of a group of terrorists in #Kishtwar sector, an operation was launched by #RashtriyaRifles on November 20, 2024. There have been some reports of alleged poor treatment of civilians during the conduct of the operation. An investigation is launched to determine the facts. The necessary follow-up action will be ensured. Further movements of the group of terrorists are being monitored,” the army said in a message on X.
There were several media reports claiming that few civilians were arrested and tortured by the army officials on November 20.
