My tights hack will make any outfit warmer – all you need is a £7 purchase from Primark
THE Christmas season means lots of fun and festive fashion, but the cold weather can make it difficult to show off your favorite looks.
With this simple hack you can wear any cute skirt or dress this winter without freezing your legs.
In a TikTok videoPrimark shared the simple fashion trick to keep you warm in cold weather.
The model in the clip started by showing off her fashionable fit, which consisted of tights with a love heart print.
She paired them with a dark gray skirt, a white long-sleeved top and a sweater.
The woman completed the look with an off-white jacket, a black handbag, a gray leopard print scarf and black leather knee-high boots.

To wear the tights, she added a barely-there item underneath.
The model showed off her preparation process, which revealed that she was actually wearing leggings underneath the tights.
Primarks High waisted leggings with plush lining are currently available for just £7.
They are designed to provide the wearer with “enhanced warmth” in cold conditions.
Shoppers can choose the leggings in the colors black, taupe, light green, navy blue and fig.
You can also find them in a denim look, for a comfortable casual look.
After putting on the leggings, the model threw on a pair of sheer tights over them.
She opted for a light brown shade to give her tights an opaque look.
“How to wear a skirt in winter, thanks to our Velvet Plush Tights,” the fashion retailer captioned the clip.
Once the model put the pantyhose over the pantyhose, it was impossible to tell that she was wearing them.
The concept is similar to the viral leggings designed to resemble tights.
Christmas fashion tips from an expert
CLEMMIE Fieldsend, fashion editor at Fabulous, has shared her top tips for looking fabulous this Christmas.
AVOID: Christmas sweaters
They are no longer a novelty, they have now become boring again and do not belong at a festive party.
By all means, go all in for Christmas Sweater Day for Save The Children, but never wear it before or after that day.
WEAR: Burgundy
At this time of year you can’t avoid burgundy and it is a luxurious, deep and rich color that is a welcome change from the Christmas red at Christmas.
Opt for silky textures or velvet for extra style points.
AVOID: PJs
The trend of feather-trimmed combination sets has had its day and is so dated.
This year, don’t break out your hair-plucked pair and buy a new set, instead, still go for the satin two-piece, but stay away from the plumes.
WEAR: Sequin dress
Try changing up the sequins a bit by wearing them with a different texture or color, for example a sequin skirt with a tight knit.
But if you really don’t know what to wear, reach for the sequins, it is Christmas after all.
AVOID: Sequin blazer
There’s nothing worse than showing up to a festive gig that looks like the hired entertainment.
Leave the sequin blazer to magicians and strict judges, but always opt for a classic tuxedo style or velvet instead.
WEAR: Bling pants
Last season, embellished jeans with diamond bling were having a moment, and this year they’re going to be just as big a hit.
If you don’t want gemstones pinging everywhere, try metallic PU pants.
You can pick up the Puimentiua Fleece Lined Leggings Women’s Thermal Leggings for £6.99 from Amazon.
The item is designed with a double layer to create the illusion of skin under tights.
However, with the Primark hack you can mix and match all your favorite sleek designs.
Current popular sleek patterns include polka dots and love hearts.
Since bare legs can be responsible for more than half of the body’s heat loss, this hack may be worth considering this winter season.
