Brits rave about £2.49 ‘identical’ dupe for £23 L’Occitane winter hand cream

BEAUTY lovers are raving about a “luxury” dupe of L’Occitane’s £23 Shea Butter Hand Cream.

The £2.49 edition is said to be “identical” to the real deal and is apparently “perfect for dry and cracked skin”.

Dry and cracked hands are common in winter because cold weather, low humidity and indoor heating strip your skin of its natural moisture.

And in the colder season, people tend to wash their hands more often to prevent colds and flu.

This can lead to dryness and irritation, as hot water and soap can strip the skin of natural oils.

A nourishing hand cream is therefore essential, but you don’t have to spend too much on the Shea Butter Hand Cream from L’Occitane.

Instead, you can pick up an “identical” dupe at Lidl.

The budget supermarket’s Deluxe D’Avignon Shea Hand Cream costs just £2.49.

Brits have raved about the ‘luxurious’ rendition on social media.

“Smells wonderful, doesn’t it?” Kelly Jones wrote on Facebook. “Luxury quality too – I wish I had more than one now.”

“Lidl has done it again,” shouted Emma Stubbs.

Linda Fandango described the dupe as “exactly like the real thing.”

“I think it’s actually better than the original,” said Charlotte Birch. ‘It’s definitely not as greasy as L’Occitane cream.

“I’m just waiting impatiently for Lidl to release the other scents now.”

Cold weather can also weaken your skin barrier.
