Diddy’s protege Dawn Richard, who accused him of sexual abuse, was “absolutely terrified” of him
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former protege Dawn Richard was “absolutely terrified” of him, her lawyer Lisa Bloom claimed this week.

In Bloom’s words, Richard insisted that Diddy “groped and grabbed her body parts, sexually abused her, that he not only did not pay her the money he promised, but actually prevented her from eating and sleeping during those years – just treated her.” terrible.’
Bloom added that Richard claimed he saw Diddy commit “serious acts of violence” against women, including Ventura.
“And when she spoke out, she said she was threatened with more physical violence,” said Bloom, the daughter of famed feminist attorney Gloria Allred. “She said Sean Combs had a vicious temper and she was absolutely terrified of him.”
In her lawsuit, obtained by DailyMail.com, Richard claims she was “manipulated” by Combs with the promise that he would help her music career.
She also claimed that during the audition process for Making The Band, Sean had called female contestants different names, such as “fat,” “ugly,” “b****es” and also “h***.”
In response, Erica Wolff, an attorney for Sean Diddy Combs, told DailyMail.com, “Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has now concocted a series of false claims, all in the hope of getting a payday – conveniently timed to coincide with her album release and press tour.”
Wolff continued, “If Ms. Richard had had such a negative experience with Making the Band and Danity Kane, she would not have chosen to speak directly to Mr. Combs for Dirty Money, nor would she have returned for the 2020 reboot of Making the Band or agreed to appear on The Love Album last year. It is unfortunate that Ms. Richard put aside their twenty-year friendship to try to get money from him, but Mr. Combs is confident in the truth and looks forward to proving it in court.”
Dawn claimed that Combs did not like her because of her eagerness and excitement to work with a big star.

In the documents, she claimed that she was a victim of Diddy’s past abuse, stating that she was forced to rehearse 48 hours a day without a break.
Due to the exhausting practices and lack of sleep, Richard claimed she suffered from weight loss, dehydration and health problems such as rashes.
Dawn claimed she was also asked to go to the rapper’s home in Miami and found him there in only his underwear.
After asking him to put on clothes, she claimed the star rejected her request, saying, “This is my f***ing house!”
Richard also claimed that Diddy’s treatment of her continued to worsen between 2009 and 2011.
In the documents, the damaged singer claimed that Combs entered her dressing room at his recording studio when she had completely undressed. She alleged that the music artist placed his hands on her breasts and buttocks.
Dawn claimed that another incident took place when the rapper locked her in a car for two hours. She tried to get help, but she claimed the windows were tinted and eventually had to call her father.
Richard claimed that her father traveled to New York to help his daughter and also approached Combs about his behavior.

The artist’s Instagram post in November read: ‘I’ve been trying to tell you for years. Prayers for this queen @cassie.”
O’Day was chosen to be part of Diddy’s girl group Danity Kane in 2005’s Making the Band, but she later claimed he fired her because she was “unwilling to do what was expected of her.” [her] – not in terms of talent, but in other areas.’

Diddy apologized on social media, seemingly expressing regret for his “inexcusable” behavior, though he did not directly reference Cassie.
O’Day took to social media at the time to say that Diddy “didn’t apologize to Cassie,” but “he apologized to the world for seeing what he did.”
Shortly after the rapper’s homes were raided by Homeland Security in a sex trafficking investigation, Aubrey also took to social media to share her thoughts, writing, “What you sow, you will reap…”
O’Day also claimed in September last year that Diddy recently asked her and former Danity Kane bandmates to sign non-disclosure agreements.
“And me, as someone who’s a girly girl, I hit everyone in my group and said, ‘No way you’re taking this deal.’
Both Dawn and Aubrey are former members of Danity Kane, as are Shannon Bex, D. Woods and Aundrea Fimbres.
The group was formed on MTV’s Making The Band under Diddy’s Bad Boy Records, but as of 2020 they are on an indefinite hiatus.
