Oppo brings cross-country warranty service to India and GCC regions
Oppo has announced a new cross-country warranty service for select devices purchased in India and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The new initiative gives Oppo customers access to warranty and repair services at the company’s authorized service centers across the region. Oppo’s select A-series, Reno-series and F-series smartphones are covered by the new scheme. From October 31, customers with eligible Oppo handsets can contact any authorized service center in India or GCC countries to access the services.
Oppo Cross-Country Warranty Service: Models Covered
The Chinese smartphone brand announced the launch of a cross-country warranty service in India through a press release on Monday. The new service is confirmed to be available to customers in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and India.
With the latest plan, users of a range of smartphones including the Oppo A3x, Oppo A3, Oppo A3 Pro 5G, Oppo Reno 12 series and Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G can access extended warranty, repair and upgrade services at authorized Oppo service centers in all of Europe. the regions.
The cross-country warranty service starts on October 31st. Customers can take their Oppo smartphones, along with proof of purchase and warranty cards, to any local authorized service center in India and GCC to benefit from free warranty services and system upgrades. Customers will have to pay additional fees for devices with an expired warranty period or out of coverage to replace damaged spare parts including the motherboard, screen and battery.
Users using multi-country warranty service are advised to backup their data before upgrading as system updates may result in data loss. The warranty period starts as soon as the customer activates the E-Guarantee Card. Service-related charges depend on each service center’s local policy.
