A company director who has subjected his wife to common abuse followed her and prisoned her in their £ 750,000 country house, avoided the prison.
Andrew Galbraith committed a hate crime by threatening wife Rebecca with violence and swings antidisability to hurt her during the persistent campaign of abuse.
But his bullying led to his arrest after Mrs Galbraith brought in secret for months and in screaming and cursing at her in Denfield House, near Aberarder in Perthshire.
She collected almost 90 recordings of his mean anger before called the police.
Galbraith – who runs a forestry company that is registered with the vast real estate – admitted that he was subject to his wife to abuse when he appeared at the Sheriff Court in Perth.
The 50-year-old, now of the nearby Trinity Gask, admitted that between 28 August 2023 and 12 September 2024 he had an insulting course of behavior towards his wife.
Fiscal representative Jill Drummond said to the court: “They were married for five and a half years, but the relationship was described as deteriorating since March 2023.”
Mrs Galbraith was heavily pregnant in August 2023 when her mother heard her husband scream and curses, his wife shouted terrible names and said: “She would probably be a miscarriage” before she gave birth two days later.

Mrs. Drummond added: 'He would call her' Spastic and B **** '. Part of it was observed by children.
“He would shout against her to leave the house. On August 15, 2024, the accused was towards her. He said: 'You are disgusted by having children with another man. You stupid f ****** woman. You're finished ****** clown ”.
Mrs. Drummand said the court that Mrs Galbraith needed support from Vrouwenhulp and wanted her alienated husband to be subjected to a non-intimidation warrant.
Galbraith admitted that he was screaming, cursing, violence threatening and the phone from his wife from her.
His lawyer said: 'Marriage is over and the divorce process is moving. The house must be sold. '
Sheriff Simon Collins placed Galbraith for two years under Social Working Supervision and ordered him to perform 200 hours of unpaid work as an alternative to detention.
He also forbade him to have contact with his wife for five years and ordered him to attend the Caledonian men's program for domestic abusers.
