Google introduces the Quick Share update for Windows with these bug fixes
Google has rolled out a new update for Quick Share on the Windows platform that doesn’t bundle any new features, but includes bug fixes for several issues that users have been experiencing in recent weeks. The new version of Quick Share fixes a bug that caused the app to crash if the file had a name consisting of non-ASCII characters. It also contains fixes for issues related to Wi-Fi LAN advertising, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Quick Share shortcut icon, system configuration preferences, and app crashing.
