Here’s a return to better-known Strands fare after yesterday’s slightly more difficult puzzle. The theme here is CALENDAR, something without which I would be absolutely lost given my terrible memory.
Fortunately, I found it easier to find DATE, MONTH, EVENT, and HOLIDAY than to remember my cousin’s birthday, and only the lengthy APPOINTMENT caused me problems.

Strands is the NYT’s new word game, after Wordle and Connections. It is now out of beta so is a full member of the NYT’s stable of games and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
