James Bond can get his next set of gadgets that is delivered by an Amazon Courier in a brown cardboard box – after the Broccoli family had signed yesterday about creative control at the company of Jeff Bezos.
The 007 films are no longer produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, the daughter and stepson of Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli who launched the British Spy -Franchise in 1962.
The couple goes off after 30 years and handed the keys to the franchise to Amazon MGM Studios, which was formed when the technology company bought the Parent Studio from Bond in 2022.
After the deal, Mr Bezos asked his followers on X who had to be cast as the next 007.
Mission Impossible Star Tom Cruise, 62, was one of the favorite candidates of fans and the British actors James Mcavoy, 45, and Henry Cavill, 41.
The deal follows months of speculation about creative tensions between Amazon and the broccolis about how to move the story four years after the last outing of Daniel Craig as the spy in no time to die.
It increases the prospect of bond – based on novels by Ian Fleming – the road through other franchises bought out by entertainment giants.
Star Wars owner Lucasfilm was taken over by Disney in 2012 for Ā£ 3.2 billion, which led to a wave of follow-up, series and spin-offs.

Bezos asked his 6.8 million x followers the burning question in the spirit of everyone: who should be the next band?

Daniel Craig (left) played James Bond from 2006-2021, meanwhile producer Barbara Broccoli (right) started working in the Bond series at the age of 17, working on the 1977's Publicity Department 'The Spy Who Loved Me'
And critics say that the door is now open to Bond characters such as Q, MI6's Tech Expert, and Miss Moneypenney, secretary of the service head, to get their own TV shows.
But some fans fear that it could go the way of Doctor Who, who was criticized because he increasingly woke up storylines after Disney had acquired global distribution rights on the series in 2022.
It was reported that Mrs. Broccoli, 64, had told friends that she had not trusted Amazon with the character and described the status of the next bond reporting in urgent terms – without script, no story and no new 007.
In December the Wall Street Journal reported that she had told friends that these people are idiots' in relation to Amazon.
Yesterday Mrs. Broccoli and Mr. Wilson, 83, announced that they had concluded a deal with Amazon for a joint venture about the intellectual property rights of the films – who gave crucial creative control over the franchise.
Mr Bezos's company has held distribution rights on all bond films since the MGM has acquired more than Ā£ 5 billion in 2022.

I never had so much control over a film franchise and insiders said that the Hollywood vision of the 20th century of the broccolis clashed with the approach to the technology giant led by streaming subscriptions.
Mr. Wilson announced his departure and said he took a step back to concentrate on 'art and charity projects'.
Mrs. Broccoli, 64, said: 'My life is dedicated to maintaining and building on the extraordinary inheritance that was handed over by our father to Michael and me.
'I had the honor of working closely with four of the enormously talented actors who played 007 and thousands of beautiful artists in the industry.
“With the conclusion of no time to Die and Michael who withdraws from the films, I think it's time to concentrate on my other projects.”
Mike Hopkins, head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, thanked the couple for their 'unhielding dedication', said the company was honored to continue the films' 'cherished heritage'.
