But I also knew that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 would definitely be on sale on Black Friday and Cyber ​​Monday, and indeed they are, with the lowest price yet at $180 or $50 less than their list price of $230. That’s pretty close to the deals we’ve seen on the Apple AirPods Pro 2, which are selling for $170 on Amazon.

While I tried the Pixel Buds Pro 2 with an iPhone 16 Pro – and yes, they work fine with Apple products, albeit with a more limited feature set – they’re really designed for Pixel device users (which get integrated support for Google’s Gemini AI Assistant) and Android users in general. I appreciated the smaller design, an upgrade that should address the fit issues that many people with smaller ears had with the Buds Pro’s original design. And both sound and noise cancellation have been improved, along with slightly better calling performance.

If you can get a good seal, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are excellent earbuds. Apple users are better off with the AirPods Pro 2, and Samsung Galaxy device owners should probably opt for the AirPods Pro 2 Galaxy Buds 3 Prowhat is for sale $190. Despite their higher price, they are certainly worth considering from Pixel device users and Android users in general, especially if they are offered at a discount.
